"Sorry to keep you waiting." Shinobu gasps slightly as she speaks.

"Not at all." Giyū smiles at her, he was waiting for her outside the school as his classes ended earlier. "I asked you out so of course I should wait."

His choice of word brings a smile to her face as she relishes them silently walking beside him.

"What kind of gift are you looking for?"

"I'm not sure..something that last long?"

"That's rather vague."

They went about the town looking inside various shops until Shinobu noticed an antique store across the street and eagerly pulled Giyū with no explanation.

"Welcome!" The shop owner enthusiastically greets them.

"Are you looking for anything in particular?"

They decided not to mention gifts and to look around separately.

Giyū walks pass many different furnitures and artworks, he even thought of buying the fine China teapot as it would make a good gift with the delicate craftsmanship.

However, as much as it would be long lasting, it would sit on the shelves forever, and he thinks his sister has enough pleasantries to gaze at.

Right as he picks up 'Antique Treasures: A Collector's Guide ' Shinobu calls him over to the musical section of the store.

As he gets to her side, she holds up a musical box to him. He thinks of wanting to hold her hand, but the thought dissipates as quickly as it surfaces.

Giyū takes the music box and turns the handle. He decided that this was the right gift as he heard the melody.

'When You Wish Upon a Star' their childhood song, the one his sister sings for him on every birthday of his since he was young.

"Even if the star don't make your wish come true, I will make it come true." He mumbled, the very words of his when he was just a 5 years old to his sister.

Tsutako brings it up at every family gathering, Shinobu smiles when he talks about how he thinks she will react if he reenact the scene.

She wants to hear more about his childhood, him.

"Thank you." He says to Shinobu.

Shinobu waves her hand as she denies doing much for him, "You would have found it anyway."

"No, I wouldn't have thought of looking at this section if you had not called me."

There's a fuzzy atmosphere surrounding them, but she doesn't mind and he doesn't either.

They wrapped up the gift nicely and headed out.

Giyū offered to walk her home but she declined saying she will drop by the Mitsuri's shop.

"Is there anything, I mean anything that I can do to thank you?"

"That's.." Shinobu can't help but laugh, "That's a really dangerous offer, anything?"

"Yes, anything." Giyū says with the most serious expression.

Shinobu think about it, this is the chance that she was waiting for.

"Well, are you free this Saturday?"

Giyū stops and smiles, "Why? Are you asking me on a date?"

"Yeah, I am."
