012- little lightning

Song: Ribs - Lorde

The air was tasteless but it held so much humidity, the son of Odin, the God of Thunder, Thor Odinson had taught that young fourteen-year-old girl that everything was okay. It seemed to her that in such little time she had known him, Anastasia felt so close and comfortable with him.

Thor knew her and understood the young girl. Oftentimes she'd fall down, doubting herself but he was there to pick her up again. When bulbs would smash and it seemed everything was getting worse Thor took her by the shoulders and showed her that she truly belonged.

Tony couldn't have thanked the God enough, and somewhat Tony wished he could have helped more. But it was out of his range, he didn't understand her powers like Thor did.

Pepper hardly returned home, staying out late to return in the middle of the night and leave again before anyone woke.

"Now focus. What do you feel? Smell? Taste? Hear?" Thor instructed, Anastasia's eyes stood closed, her fingers tingling.

"Feel the way the earth moves, feel it spin." She heard Thor.

And she obeyed, but the feeling was out of body. Like she was hovering between worlds. But she saw herself and what she was creating, small sparks from her fingertips, and if like magic she was floating.

Tony watched, nothing like this had happened before. It was terrifying and amazing at the same time. Anastasia felt the blood pumping in her veins, her throat was dry. "What do you see?" She heard Thor ask concerned.

"Pain." Anastasia's voice shivered, her eyes fluttered open and the darkest color of crimson red-inked her irises. The color of blood, "Crying, heartbreak." Her voice became strained and heavy with the weight that was on her shoulders. Panic enshrouded her like a wave, she suddenly lost control. Sparks flying from her fingertips erratically.

Tony couldn't watch anymore. "Stop it, call it off now!" Thor sighed and then nodded, stepping forward, he called out to her. His voice was deep but somehow it soothed her,

"Come down, Little Lighting." And as if it triggered something, all the voices all the heartache stopped.

Her body then became weak, falling into Tony who rushed up behind her. His bridal style carried her to the living room couch. "I think you should stop." Tony talked to Ana and Thor,

"We'll take precautions. We can do this. I can do this!" Anastasia huffed, his eyes felt heavy but she couldn't sleep. "Ana, what were you talking about when you said the crying?" Thor asked, ignoring Tony's worries.

"It was like millions of people talking, it sounded like Pepper and a million of others. But Pepper isn't here, so I don't know why I heard it. And then it was like she was crying, and I felt it. Like my heart was breaking, like a feeling of being confused and lost."

Tony searched her eyes every word Anastasia spoke was full of meaning and thought. Thor couldn't help but run his fingers through his blonde hair.

"It's been days. This has been the most progress we've made, Tony. I can't stop." Anastasia pleaded,

"No, but I think you need to take a break. This has been taking a toll until we can figure how to bypass that. You'll go to school, and wear those gloves until I see fit that you can take them off." Tony looked at Thor with stern eyes and a tight lip and Thor nodded,

"Fine. But have you chosen the school?" Anastasia yawned,

"Midtown, you start the day after tomorrow. Your appointment is at ten, but for now, get some sleep." Tony softly ordered, draping a throw blanket over her.

Anastasia snuggled up, it was late afternoon.

"What do you think?" Tony asked Thor, both men walked into the Kitchen.

"She's immensely powerful, I have never seen it before. And she doesn't even know it." Thor replied looking at the sleeping beauty, Tony just decided to make himself a ham sandwich.

"What if she gets unstable?" Tony looked back at Thor who was looking out in the city.

"She won't." He firmly said with no doubt, Tony on the other hand lost the balance of his thoughts.

"Stark, Anastasia has seen what she could do to you normal humans. She is scared of any human contact right now, with that fear she wouldn't come near a breakdown. "Thor said before Tony could say a word.

"We know for sure she could absorb electricity, human energy as well," He spoke again mapping out her ability.

"What about you supposed god, what if she touches you? What would happen?" Tony quickly snapped back, He was getting lost in his thoughts.

"As you said I am a god, with that no human can handle my ability." Thor missed Tony's insult. Tony rolls his eyes as he continues to make his sandwich.

"And if she tries and it almost kills her? What if she is the first human to handle that much power?" Tony sighed, he put down the butter knife. "What if she touches banner? He is a forty-year-old man and just by transforming into that beast it almost kills him at times." Tony continued to question the god with 'What if's.'

"We don't know if she could absorb my power, let's just handle one situation at a time. Who knows maybe she could just bundle electricity." He shrugged his shoulders.

"That's not what I am afraid of." Tony seemed too anxious, almost like he drank 6 expressos in an hour. Thor looks at him confused,

"Stark didn't we already go through this?"

"She doesn't know her limitation, what if she comes in any contact because she randomly gets kisses somebody or she's crying and somebody hugs her for comfort?" Thor looked at the young girl. "She could kill somebody, you saw how Pepper got. The poor girl could nearly catch a break, she's going to lose it."

Tony took a bite of his sandwich, "For now keep her calm, Don't push her emotions, an inhuman like her could reflect from emotions.  I'll be out of your way by tomorrow, I'll inform the rest of the team that we have a situation, keep her contained."

"So how do you get her to calm down?" It felt like since Tony asked this, he felt somewhat distant from the entire experiment. He felt too excluded, alone, jealous.

"It's a tone of voice, tell me what you call her?" Thor wondered,

"Either Bell or Ana." Tony retorted as if it was obvious and without any sort of hesitation.

"Good. You just have to trust her, trust that she can stop when it gets too much. When she knows that, it's simple." Thor advised.

But it seemed difficult, of course Tony had known the fourteen year old for quite some time almost a full month. But he didn't know much about her.

He realized he hadn't spent personal quality time with her. Tony had only spent time experimenting with her supernatural gifts, and without Pepper it wasn't any easier. She was the mediator, a middle ground.

"You make it sound easy."Tony replied,

It was ten minutes to nine at night, Anastasia woke up groaning as she stared at the time. Realizing that she should be on the rooftop. She cussed at herself for sleeping so long.

She ran into the elevator, forgetting that her hair was a mess, drool was dried on the sides of her mouth. Upon reaching the rooftop, she saw the male boy in his suit and in his hand a plastic bag.

"I was beginning to think, you were never going to come." His voice seemed happy and cheerful.

"I was busy, but even if I was with the president. I'd never miss this, I'd fly over countries for this." Anastasia smiled, the boy handed her a container of food.

"My friend's Aunt made Lasagna for dinner and we had leftovers, I hope you don't mind." He was looking at her, he hoped she wouldn't reject his gesture.

"I can't, I'm vegan" Anastasia spoke, the boy frowned underneath his mask.

"I'm so sorry, I'm so stupid." The masked hero hastily replied, attempting to take the food away. But Anastasia roaring laughter caught him off guard, he seemed confused. Anastasia began to eat the Lasagna, and it tasted heavenly. Like magic exploding in her mouth.

"I'm just pulling your leg, I'm not vegan." Anastasia admitted, he softly nudged her. "But you should've seen it. You froze up and-" she giggled, Peter grew rigid.

"Lighten up, it's okay. Look I am sorry" Anastasia started to eat again, "It's delicious. Your friend's Aunt is amazing. Tony always orders Takeout, and Peppers never home. So it's lovely to eat something that's not made from fast-food workers."

He smiled, he felt comforted by her presence. And over the time, ever since day one the two talked and danced, shared small secrets, and sat comfortably in silence. It wasn't awkward, and he felt like she was now his best friend. But he hated that he had to hide.

"That kind of sucks. Doesn't it get lonely?" The masked hero asked.

"Sometimes, but I keep myself occupied. Music, and art. You know." She looked at him, her eyes smiling at him.

The masked figure wanted to ask why she looked distraught, but he didn't want to make the atmosphere awkward. And cause him to become conscious. Honestly, it didn't matter to him, she could be bald and dressed like a high core punk rocker and he'd still vibe with her.

"Which reminds me, school?" Anastasia perked up, remembering what Tony had previously said about it.

"Midtown! I suggested it, and Pepper had to compromise and so did Tony but I start in two days or so. Maybe I'll meet Ted or your friend Peter." She was excited, and he was nervous. Immediately, stumbling for balance.

"Ah look at the time, I should be off." He stared at his arm as if a watch occupied it, but it was just a suit. He saluted and dove off, leaving Anastasia to question the abruptness.

"See you-" Her voice cut off by the emptiness that filled where he once stood.

"Was it something I said?" Anastasia wondered, she furrowed her brows. Confusion set into her as she made her way back to the penthouse, he did it again.

"I saw you, on the roof." The voice was low making Ana flinch as she entered the living room. It was almost Eleven, Thor was sitting in the corner of the room on an egg-shaped chair. It was like he was an angry parent catching his daughter in the act of sneaking out.

"Jesus, you can't do that Thor! You could have killed me." Anastasia spat aggravated.

"Hardly doubt that. Anyway, you better get to bed." Thor implied,

"Yeah, whatever, I'll see you in the morning."

Anastasia slept that night.

It was as if there was no time, no day nor night. Just a collision of nothing and empty. Standing on something extraordinary, Anastasia called out. Trying to find out if anyone was around, but alas all that was heard was the howling wind that drifted tumbleweeds and rubbish across the concrete of Manhattan.

She stared at the sky, it was just black. No moon, sun or stars. "Where is everyone?" Anastasia asked every part of the street was empty.

Cars were empty, scattered about. Their doors unlocked and open as if there was no security anymore. Anastasia behind her was the infamous Stark Tower, its daunting heights towering above her.

And then suddenly voices, coming in every direction. Anastasia began sprinting to where they were coming from.

"Pathetic Little Ana, weak and feeble. You're going to kill them all!" It sounded like Tony, but it couldn't be. Tony wouldn't say that to her.

She passed city blocks ranging for miles, her heart beating fast and sweat dripped down her forehead.

"You've been lying to everyone. You're a betrayer, you deserve it all." Anastasia heard it, sounding like her masked boy who fought crimes all around.

She screamed telling them it was untrue. Anastasia beckoning them all to stop. But in front of her stood Abraham Montgomery,

His neatened up manner and scruffed face, calloused hands as he reeked of potent alcohol. It was evident as it lingered on his breath when he talked,

"You're a killer, a selfish, good for nothing. You'll kill everyone. No one is going to help you, Anastasia. It's all going to come for you, just as useless and weak-minded. As your mother. But you killed her."

Anastasia then began to believe him. Even if it was a very realistic and lucid dream.

'I should have left you on the streets. That's where you belonged, where you could have not hurt anyone-' Pepper called from behind, Pepper was skinny. Almost all of the bones apparent '-Why did you do it?'

"I didn't mean to! I didn't know what I was doing!" Anastasia screamed, tears now streaming.

"You did this. Drained me, sucked me dry." Pepper continued to taunt her, and with each minute that passed Pepper began to become more sunken than last.

"I'm sorry, I-" But it was useless, Pepper faded and turned to ash. And you could swear that the heart of a person could be heard being squeezed so much you thought it was no more.

"Thought you'd be good for them." It was Happy, his body thin. "Draining everyone like this, killing everyone. We thought you'd be good for the world." Happy's voice seemed brittle,

"But we were wrong. You're too powerful, too strong. And it can't be stopped." Anastasia was reaching out now faced with everyone she knew. Their bodies are crumbling.

"Don't touch me, you monster."

Anastasia believed this was her fault.

"We shouldn't have met. I should have stayed away from you." The masked male she knew from rooftop met ups now apparent in his suit. Bits of fabric now torn and worn as he admitted,

"No, please-" Anastasia was now on her knees, power radiated from her. And she realized she was the only light left.

"There is only one way for you to stop this-" Tony now stood in front of her, it was a scary sight.

"Anything please!" Anastasia pleaded,

Her arm punched through her,

"Die."

She jolted awake, sweat-drenched her forehead. A laying awake, recouping from that nightmare. "Shit." Anastasia cussed as if on time a knock erupted her thoughts. Her hair was levitating, sparks lingering around her fingers.

Tony. "Kid, we're leaving in an hour. You've got your meeting with the Principal and they've decided to enroll you today. So it looks like it's your first day!"

This caused her to sit upright. "What the absolute, fuck." She blinked rubbing off her red-inked eyes.

Anastasia believed that tomorrow was when she'd start, Pepper even told her. Tony had too, Anastasia brushed her hair and tied it up before showering.

Once refreshed and dressed she ran out.

"You told me tomorrow!" Her voice was sharp and loud.

"Yeah well, Pepper and I think it is better for you to start right away. Besides, there was nothing wrong with it. As far as they are concerned, you're Happy's niece." He ushered her to the table where her cereal and beverage sat. "Quickly eat then Happy is taking you, your bag is at the door with everything. Lunch money as well. Please do not take off your gloves and do not get into trouble." Tony ruffled her hair before walking to grab his daily coffee.

Anastasia gazed at her gloves, last night's thoughts taunting her mind once again. Thor came into view as he had messy hair and his clothes seemed disheveled. "Morning." Tony greeted Thor, but only replied with a wave and a tired smile.

Pepper had left early that morning, leaving a warm but empty note stating she'd be home tonight. Anastasia huffed, scared to see the women. Couldn't believe what she had caused, Tony thought that she was over it but last night made the feelings resurface.

On the way to school, it was quiet. She had a meeting first thing with the principal on a warm welcome. She dreaded it, but then she remembered Peter and Ted. Would they welcome her, what if they thought she was weird and an outcast.

"You okay, kid? You seemed out of it." Happy asked from the driver's seat.

"Yeah, I am okay. Just tired, got no sleep." Happy threw back a power shake, chocolate.

Thankfully it had caffeine.

"No worries, we've all been there. Just don't be late." Happy saw her off and smiled.

Anastasia walked the halls, she sought out the Principal's office. And of course, every new person was stared at, like fresh meat. It was dreadful, but it was the way of life.

"Scuse me, do you know where the Principal's office is?" She asked a boy who stood talking to some chicks.

"You must be new, I'm Flash." His cocky grin and all too stereotypical jock type make her wanna gag. "Nice to meet you, where is the Principal's office?" Anastasia bitterly asked again,

"Right, down the hall to you left just after the water fountain." Flash pointed in its general direction. But his eyes diverted somewhere particularly rude.

"Thanks." Anastasia walked away staring at her MidTown High Pamphlet. Eventually, she found her way, it was a little more than what Flash directed but still late by five minutes was okay, right?

The meeting was fine, it wasn't extravagant or something. But a welcome, with a few Pamphlets and pat on the back and a timetable to her first class.

History, Anastasia groaned. She wasn't good at History, or Math, or anything of that sort. She wondered how she even got to be at this school, did they have to pay her way in?

She was early,  taking place at an empty seat back in the class. Wondering what this school would be like if it was anything like her other. Their school bell rang, it was like any other. Annoying and loud, but students piled on one after another.

And soon the class started, "Good Morning class, as you all know we have a new pupil." Anastasia dreaded these moments, the moments where she was the center of attention. When the teachers called her up to talk about herself.

"Anastasia Montgomery, please tell us about yourself." The teacher's voice was warm, Anastasia stood up on the chair behind her scraping.

"I'm Anastasia Montgomery, I just moved here from, well, anyway I like art and stuff." Anastasia then sat, the teacher just hummed and nodded.

"Well, welcome to MidTown, I am Julius Dell but you call me sir or Mr.Dell, not Jules or Julie or J-Dawg." She heard a few light snorts from students, one from the guy she had met earlier, Flash.

"Anyway, the Civil War, page three hundred and ninety-four." Everyone flicked open their books. Anastasia just sat blankly staring at the projector which played imagines from the historic time.

Nutrition, she remembered Tony had given her money. Following signs to the cafeteria, luckily it was clearly stated on the map in the pamphlet that Principal Morita gave that morning.

It was packed with overbearing kids, stereotypical goths, and prep students with homework. One table with Cheerleaders snogging the jocks was all too conventional.

Anastasia brought a muffin and an apple juice carton alongside a tray with a ham sandwich and a punnet of jello. Fortunately, there was a spare seat at a table with only two people occupying it.

"Excuse me, is anyone sitting here?" Anastasia questioned, the two boys stared up at her blankly. But soon the chubby boy spoke first,

"No sit, you don't mind Peter, do you?" The boy spoke with a big smile. Anastasia slid into next them.

"Peter? Is that your name?" Anastasia asked, remembering her masked friend saying that his good mate went here.

Peter stared at her, his mouth agape as though he witnessed something that he could not comprehend.

"It's just my friend told me he was close friends with you and Ted." Peter snapped out of it soon enough,

"Ned Leeds." Ned placed out his hand idiotically, but she shook it anyhow.

"Anastasia Montgomery, it seems my friend was misinformed." She smiled,

"Don't know a Ted here but a Ned." Ned retorted chewing down on his Baloney sandwich.

"Anyway, so what do you do for fun around here?" Anastasia asked Peter who slumped into his seat.

"Nothing much, honestly. Ned and I usually stick to ourselves." Peter then wanted to slap himself, he sounded so much like a loner. But Anastasia preferred to be alone than with a large crowd.

"So what do you take?" Ned asked Anastasia,

"Well, Gym, Science and History as well as Arts, oh Physics, You?"

"Well everything you just said but Arts." Ned mumbled back his mouth full of food,

"So Peter, do you enjoy Midtown?" She asked Peter who had said nothing.

"Well besides Flash Thompson, it has its enjoyable moments. I would ask you but you've just arrived." Peter spoke not staring at her but his surroundings,

"Ah that jockey, fella. Meeting him, he seemed a bit pretentious. Cocky grin, talking to girls. Yeah, I've come across them before. Prefer not to engage with their kind." Anastasia fumbled with her thumbs and smiled at Peter,

"Their kind?" Flash Thompson, spoke appearing at the side of their table he slid next to Peter making him almost fall off.

"Don't get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with your people. Expect the objectifying and constant expectations for hierarchy. God, you guys get off on that shit don't you?" Flash furrowed his eyebrows in confusion and disappointment.

"What are you even talking about?" Flash muttered, "You nutter in the head or somethin'?"

Anastasia chuckled, "You, Flash Thompson are a grade A,  jock." Ned stated at her mouth gaping, Peter couldn't help but smirk at her forwardness. He never saw this side of her, especially when they meet several times at night.

"You must have lost it or something. Seriously, don't know what I ever did to you." Flash grumbled pushing himself out of the table.

Anastasia saw him staring at her when she walked past him in the halls, wooing her like she was a piece of steak. Clearing staring at her rear end, it was nauseating how one could feel the need to stare at someone so openly like that.

She didn't comment on his act, feeling the need not to. Besides she felt like she got her two cents in. "What compelled you to that." Peter verbalized gesturing to that entire ordeal from before.

"People like Flash Thompson, love to stare at women and feel superior about it. It's all about hierarchy, he's the top of the food chain." Anastasia nodded, while Ned just hummed all while Michelle Jones was eavesdropping behind them, reading a historical novel on the Civil War, for history.

The bell had rung, and all that time Ned talked about Tony Stark. It was hard to suppress the urge to comment on how he wasn't all that he believed to be. Even Peter thought highly of Stark, dreaming of interning at the company.

"What do you have next?" Peter asked, clearly now only interested in her.

"Well art and then physics." Anastasia replied,

"I'll see you in Physics, I'll even save you a seat." Peter waved her off jogging to his next class. Which apparently was AP Chemistry as his elective, something she never excelled in.

In her art class, it was no surprise that the crowd was made up of the usual, hipsters, out of the closet emos and literate preppies. And then there was plain Jane, Anastasia. She placed herself at a desk, in front she found her bag a sketchbook, and stationary.

The teacher she found as Miss. Rhonda Kramer greeted the class, briefly discussing today's project.

"You'll be given an hour to come up with anything. Use your mind, your heart, and your hands. Let the emotions flow right through you and onto your canvas."

Anastasia didn't know what to do, she held her pencil to the paper it was thick almost like a card. "Don't be afraid, close your eyes and focus on whatever comes to mind." The teacher instructed from behind, her voice making the girl flinch.

"Don't worry, I've blanked a lot. Trust me, it gets easier." The darker-skinned female in front of her reassured,

Anastasia stared at her paper yet again, she reflected on how she felt. Anxious, Excited, Angry, Frustrated, Compelled, or maybe content.

Sitting there completely still she inhaled to exhale a deep breath. Wondering what the word,  Contentment looked like.

Tranquility. Her hand moved, circular movements, up and down. And sound enough she was left with something completely and utterly magnificent,

"Woah, you're like our modern-day Da Vinci." A female spoke, it was the girl who spoke to her earlier offering her reassurance.

"Thanks, I didn't know what I was going to draw first." Anastasia responded, staring at the piece.

"So what is it called?" The girl asked.

"It doesn't have a name." Soon the teacher found their way to see Anastasia's work. Nodding and praising the girl's work, Anastasia wasn't sure about it, she never was.

The bell then rang and everyone was dismissed, "Michelle." The girl reached out her arm extending a handshake which Anastasia hesitated at first but shook.

"Anastasia, but most call me Ana."

Physics was strange, often Peter looked up but every time Anastasia caught him he looked away. She thought it was strange, did she smell, or was there something on her face? "You okay?" Anastasia asked him, "Yeah just you know, Physics." Peter hummed in response writing down answers to a textbook question.

Later after, they had a free period. Anastasia just sat on the bleachers watching the football team practice. Cheerleaders lined up doing their routine, she had brought a drink from the cafe down the street that wasn't even given minutes away.

"What are you doing?" A tall pretty girl approached her, sliding next to Anastasia, "Sitting." She responded blandly. "Fun." She sarcastically replied,

"I saw you talking to Flash Thompson earlier at the cafeteria, it's not every day someone calls him out. Especially on their first day-" She stated her eyes watching the football team ahead, "-got to give it to you, though you were like every other stuck up here, I mean look at you. Pretty face, hot bod, not illiterate."

Anastasia looked at her, "I'm sorry who are you?" She frowned her eyebrows.

"Liz." The girl held her hand out, "Liz Allan."

"Anastasia." She accepted her hand. Liz looked too preppy and joyful, it made Anastasia feel sick.

"We should hang out sometime, I'm around if you need to talk to someone."

"sureee, we totally should." Anastasia awkwardly smiled. In the distance, she could see Michelle reading a book. "I- I- I got to go, My friends waiting." Anastasia quickly got up and rushed to Michelle.

'oh my god.' she mouthed to herself. She quickly sat next to Michelle, "I know, Don't say anything but laugh." Anastasia commanded.

"No." Michelle didn't even try to look up from her book.

"I'll give you 40 dollars if you just laugh."

Michelle held her hand out, Anastasia quickly grabbed the money and places it in the palm of her hands.

"Ha ha ha. You're so funny, I could literally die." She sarcastically joked.

"Really that's the best you could do?" Anastasia scoffed causing her to roll her eyes, leaving the girl with her book and the two 20's she gave her.

Soon it was 2.45 pm which meant home, Happy was strictly told to pick her up from a block away to not draw attention to her. For once Happy agreed. Ned had met Anastasia at the front gates alongside Peter, who had left abruptly according to his words,

"Aunt May wants me home to help with things." Ned looked at him questioning his suddenness. "Alright, we're still on for Friday night?" But Peter had already left, calling out to his best friend, "Not sure, I'll have to get back to you."

Ned just sighed, "He usually cancels. Either Aunt May grounds him or it's homework, don't know why I am telling you this." He chuckled nervously,

"Maybe I've got one of those faces, those ones where you can just sit and talk for hours and completely just trust. Well, at least I hope." Anastasia smiled.

"We'll see you tomorrow, I hope?" Ned wondered taking a few steps out of the school.

"Of course, after all you and Peter are the only ones who tolerated me. I guess that earns you friendship status." Anastasia smiled waving her new friend farewell.

Ned smiled brightly and ran to catch the leaving bus. "So, tell me how was school?" Happy asked,

But Anastasia smiled, she couldn't help it. She finally made friends, it was already the first day gone and the thing she set out to do was accomplished. Pepper would be proud.

"Good, Hap, it was good." Anastasia said watching as the cars passed her in the opposite lane.

Happy had smiled, it was the first genuine smile he ever saw on her face. "Make any friends?"

"Of course, what's there not to like?" She cockily replied, Happy just rolled his eyes and chuckled, "You're much like him, you know."

"Who?" Anastasia questioned as Happy drove, often stopping at red lights.

"Tony. If I didn't know, I thought you two were related." Happy snorted, Ana laughed. "Thank, God for that."

They stopped right out the building,  Happy pulling into an underground car park. It was filled with expensive cars and tinted SUVs dedicated to Stark Industries and more so Tony Stark.

"I'm home!" Anastasia called loudly, no one responded. So Anastasia walked down the hall, she soon could hear the loud booming bass of the radio blaring. Tony must have been in his lab.

"You know the amount of time you spend in here, you should probably put a bed." Anastasia chuckled at the man bobbing his head to the music.

"That's probably a good idea-" Tony replied, he was used to her around so he never flinched. Besides, he caught her in the reflection of a glass mirror upon arrival. "-How was school, kid?"

Anastasia thought about it and without hesitation she explained her day. Clarifying that she, indeed made new friends. Peter Parker, Ned Leeds and Michelle Allan.

"I also may have insulted a kid, but in my defense he deserved it!" Tony looked at the girl questioningly.

"He should be lucky, I could've touched him." Anastasia stared at her covered hands, the leather feeling against her pale skin. Tony just hummed in agreement,

"Yes, but also we made a deal."

Anastasia slumped against a desk piled with nuts and bolts as well as mechanical wirings. "Yes, I know. Anyway, where's Thor?" Tony looked up from his programming, "Thor is out he'll be back tomorrow morning to help."

Anastasia staggered to the sliding door, "Next time I see him, I'm going to kick his ass for not saying goodbye." Tony chuckled and turned up the tunes. He hadn't had a doubt about that.

Later, the evening came. Pepper did come home just as dinner was being served. Chinese, not that anyone complained. But Anastasia found this to become an unhealthy habit of the abode. "I think, tomorrow I'll make dinner and then Tony. Since Pepper works a lot, it should not be fair she has to come home to take out. It's nice to have a home cook meal." Pepper tucked into her wontons, well Tony his chow mein.

"Whatever." Tony replied too busy with his food, "So Ana, tell me about school?" And once again Anastasia explained her day to Pepper. Tony scrolled mindlessly on his phone.

Later after tea, Anastasia cleaned up as usual and took out food to her favorite. But even after waiting an entire hour he surprisingly never showed, this made Ana confused and somewhat upset.

Anastasia had no way of contacting the mystery superhero. In fact, she didn't know where he was from, now she remembered she didn't know much about him. Whenever Anastasia brought his life up it led to it talking about other things they both enjoyed.

Anastasia, walked back to her room with Chinese still in hand sliding it into the fridge. Wondering why he never showed up, mind you, he did rush off yesterday. Or maybe he's on a job.

"He's probably busy." Slipping into bed, her mind wondered what tomorrow was going to bring.

Meanwhile, in a bedroom of Queens, Peter Parker hadn't moved from his room. Aunt May had gone out for a night shift at work, leaving a note saying that she was leaving money for pizza.

Peter thought about a lot of things.

"Thought she said tomorrow, I wonder what she's doing? What am I going to say?" He sat on the edge of his bed, hands running down his tired face, forgetting it was him who suggested the school.

"What if she found out? And told everyone-" Peter wondered, "-No way, she ain't no snitch. Besides she'll never find out." He slumped back falling on his end, he sighed.

His restless thoughts were soon put at ease when his eyes fell heavy. Sleep encasing him,

-Ting ❤️

~

I don't know what happen to ting but she didn't leave a message, but I did lol.

My message is... Why are men stupid?

It's a genuine question, this guy named Anthony kept hitting on me, but I found out why he was... For my body. I'm not shitting you he asked for nudes the 3 days we talked, like no. Like the last guy I dated literally abused me, mentally and sometimes physically. And now I meet this cute guy but he wants nudes, like where is Peter Parker.

WHERE ARE ALL OF THE NICE SHY BOYS. THE TYPE WHO TALK ABOUT MARVEL AND CUDDLE, WHERE ARE THEY.

IF SOMEBODY IS KEEPING HIM HOSTAGE. I SWEAR.

But yes going on to the next question about the CHAPTER.

Do you think the guy behind the mask (know as Peter as you already know.) will see Anastasia again on the roof?
