Alex POV

When we arrived at the school the whole place was decorated to look like the Oscars, like they even had cardboard figures of Brad Pitt and just about every other attractive Hollywood star (which is literally all of them.........I'm pretty sure there were more cardboard figures than actual people there). 

However I will have to give  credit where credit is due and this get's an A+ for effort. We walked towards the Gym where the main event was taking place and while we were walking I took my time to look at what everyone was wearing and it was pretty much what I expected, classic 2000's prom dresses, but they looked cute though.......on some people. 

The first thing that caught my attention was the giant disco ball inside the Gym, the second thing was Bella Swan dancing with Archie and Diana (when did that happen??? like seriously what did I miss, I seriously need to find Milo and get him to spill the tea).

The minute Edward and I walked in arm in arm all eyes were on us, well on Edward, since people couldn't exactly see me, (how did anyone get used to so many eyes on them my anxiety could never). I didn't feel that scared though, maybe it was because I was practically invisible or knew Edward would take us home the minute I felt uncomfortable or maybe it was because I was wearing my favorite rings to keep me confident.

The music started playing and I dragged Edward to the dance floor for our first dance as a couple (this is gonna be good practice for our first dance when we get married, not that I would ever say that thought out loud). We swayed in our own little bubble, holding on to each other occasionally sharing a sweet kiss, ignoring everything around us. 

If you asked me why the hell Diana and Archie were glaring at Jacob Black who was awkwardly dancing with Bella Swan when he didn't even go here I wouldn't know a thing (seriously does no one in this town have any self preservation, but then again Forks has werewolves, vampires, and now a newly added vampire witch and a ghost so I can't really blame them). 

Eventually the Gym started getting crowded and I was feeling a little claustrophobic so we walked outside towards a little place they made covered with fairy lights (you cannot imagine the amount of people we heard fucking on the way there). "You know the last time I saw you so dressed up was when your mother insisted you all have a proper Christmas together for once," I blurted out as the memory resurfaced in my mind. 

Edward was silent for a few seconds before giving me a small smile and saying "I remember that, father was not happy at all when mother dragged him home from work.......I think that's the last time we all sat together and had dinner as a family before everyone got sick." 

I could hear the sadness in his voice and felt guilty that I was the reason it was there, but before I could say anything Edward held up a finger to my lips before kissing away the apologies I was about to spew. All in all I would like to say the night was going pretty well, that was before Alice came rushing to us frantically saying that Carlisle had called her and told us to all come back home immediately. 

Now the first thing I could think of was that something bad had happened on their date or someone was hurt, but then Alice said that Victoria was the one who had called Carlisle to tell him to get us to all come home, so at this point no one really knew what was going on which was fucking great because now I'm going to be on edge until we get back to the mansion.

Moreover, even with Rosalie and Edward's crazy driving the Cullen Mansion was at least 30 minutes away.....just when I thought today was going to be a problem free day it all goes to hell (honestly nothing could have prepared me for how this day was actually going to end).

So the three of us hunted down Emmett and Rosalie and walked towards our cars where Jasper was waiting looking like he had just found out his whole history book collection was burned to a crisp (yes he looked that pained). And as I expected the drive back was filled with everyone being silent (but thinking so fucking loud that at one point Edward had to yell at everyone to shut so loudly that it ended up with Rosalie getting startled to the point where she almost ended up hitting a tree). 

We eventually got there in 20 minutes (never thought I would say this, but thank god that the Cullens live in a creepy forest), and when we all raced inside we were met with the sight of Carlisle and Esme sitting on the sofa next to Victoria who was sitting surrounded by spell books and plastic skulls (or at least I hope they were plastic).

"So care to tell us why my night with my beautiful wife was cut short?" I could see Victoria rolling her eyes at Emmett, but she replied saying "I found it," which was not ominous at all, "what exactly did yo-" Rosalie was cut off by Edward inhaling sharply and looking at Victoria with so much hope my heart felt like someone was squeezing it tightly. 

"Are you sure it will work? When can we start? When's the next full moon?" Edward's rapid questioning was cut off by Carlisle saying, "Edward, son what's going on?" Instead of Edward replying (he looked like he hadn't even heard Carlisle speak), it was Victoria who replied.

"I think I found a way to turn Alex back into human, or at least to get him his physical body back," and with those words the whole room descended into chaos, everyone talking over the other. I felt the world start spinning and I could feel myself falling to my knees in shock before everything turned black.

A/N: I personally hate this chapter a lot, but I wanted to give you guys something so I hope you guys like it.

I really wanna apologize to you guys for taking a long time to update, I was having writer's block and my finals so I legit wrote this chapter in two days, but on the bright side there is only one chapter left now which will be the finale....yayyy.
