Chapter - 26 - Laundry
It is already weekend and I am extra no, make it over. Yes I am overexcited for weekends. This is when I can actually call 'my group'. Every alternate weekend we try to connect to each other and always try keeping it free. So that it is only us and that we get to spend a quality time together.
From fifteen minutes, I have been trying to discover how do I wear my dungaree. It has like all these denim buttons all over and unbuttoning every single button isn't helping. All I am hoping for is that I should have decided something else to where. I know now, you might think that I am already at home and can change whenever I want. Well, that's true I am actually at home but the thing is there is only one laundry guy, who must be in his teens, who comes by once a week to take the clothes down for laundry. I could've got myself a washing machine if I had asked my parents but I didn't really want them to spend so much, first for my fees and then for the apartment and now ultimately for a 'washing machine'.
But, hell yes I now really understand that I should've asked them for a washing machine. After all it is only a washing machine, how bad could it cost.
Stop! You people, stop laughing.
You would understand my situation if you were here. So, the laundry guy comes every weekend and I gave him all my clothes except a few for tomorrow and my PJs. Now, I am stuck and I have to ask for help.
Oh God! I am such an idiot, dying for fashion and bought the most difficult-to-wear jumpsuit. Damn it! I hate myself.
I am anyways done struggling and have finally figured out a way to wear this thing. Yes! Yes! I did it.......
I make my way downstairs. Actually, I forgot to tell you. If you are thinking I am rushing for the college, then no, I actually have decided to meet Ishaan. Yes, full points, if you guessed 'Brew'. We are actually meeting up there to video call my friends. Now, I chose the café because, the Wi-Fi is free there and the speed of Wi-Fi is amazing. I mean it never disconnects there. Well okay, yeah I know it is free, but it is also good to use resources. I do not use my mobile data until it is extremely urgent. In college, I use Oxford's Wi-Fi, because it is also free for the students and teachers. But, sadly the university is off on weekends and hence, I am only left with the café.
I find my way through some old aged and middle aged people. I quickly chip in a 'Good Morning' as I walk in haste. What? I am way too excited. I quickly call Ishaan and check if he is near my apartments. He replies in affirmative and right now we are heading towards the café.
