Manhattan, New York, USA

New York's Central Park is the best place in the city to see the beautiful cherry blossom blooms.

It's the first sign that winter's on the way out and spring's right around the corner.

The soft pink flowers that explode on cherry trees are the perfect antidote to winter.

You can find them in many places in NYC including the Brooklyn Botanic Garden and at several cherry blossom festivals around town. The Japanese call these festivals Sakura Matsuri.

But people think the best place to see New York City's cherry blossoms in the spring is in Central Park...

"Sakura hira hira

The leaves will flutter to the ground

It reminds me of the days when you

Were here to hold my hand

And the promises we've made along

Still keeps me hanging on

Hold me now just like other lovers

Sa-ku-ra mai-chiru..."

Hanako's POV (Aww she's adorable)

After leaving the café we were walking in total silence. Only the sound of our footsteps and the vehicles passed by us sometime could be heard.

I felt my relaxing afternoon ruined after meeting up with Jack Sensei. Ya I still respected him as a person who was elder than me but after what we'd got to know... I didn't trust him one bit.

Then we were walking in the road of Manhattan heading to the central park. I just wanted to relax and got out the incidents happened earlier.

Sora San looking confused and puzzled. So I guessed we'd so many questions that we had to answer Sora San. I hoped she could take it.

After few minutes of silence Sora San broke it cause there were a million questions in her mind swirling around.

"Hey guys one of you at least tell me something about that Jack guy? I felt so weird and uncomfortable", She said in worry.

Sakura Senpai stopped when we reached at the gate of the park. "First let's enter into the park then I'm telling you all about it. It's a long story", she said quietly. "

Well it's time to brought back the old memories", I sighed sadly. We sat in the benches of the park. It was so beautiful and relaxing but my mood spoiled for that guy.

"Senpai! A criminal like him is wondering widely in Manhattan is it all right ?", I said with worry.

"I really don't know what's right or wrong but Jack is out of Jail now and I've to inform the hospital about this", Sakura Senpai bit her lip.

"So Jack, the weird guy, a criminal but why? What he'd done?", Sora San asked.

"And what's the exact connection between you two Sakura?", She looked at Senpai and she was serious.

"Hanako please continue the start... I'll say when my time will come", Senpai instructed me, her assistant.

After all I had been with my Senpai for a long time, I knew exactly what Sakura Senpai was feeling right then.

"Actually Sora San it's a long story", I started, "Sakura Senpai and I are already neighbour and I've known her for a long time. She could sound arrogant and cold hearted and does a little show off but deep down inside she also want someone who will love her like any other girl wants in her life".

My these words made Sora San frown but she didn't interrupted. I took a deep breath before continuing my sentence.

"Every now and then I remember when

We would ride this train together

And thought these precious moments

Would last forever

Every now and then I look back again

Every time I close my eyes and

The memories are with me

But you're not here with me..."

"As her parents used to be working in overseas she'd always so alone from the time she was 11. She came here for the first time and didn't talk to others. Then I found her in the same school and I succeeded to be a good friend of her but except me she left as a loner. She never feel comfortable to talk to others frankly. Everyone said she was rude, she didn't care etc..."

"... Years passed in High school then University. After that many guys started liking her, tried to confess to her but she always neglected them she always looked like she has someone for home she is long time waiting forever", I sighed sadly.

I noticed Sora San clutched the red Ruby pendant with her hand. I didn't know why but maybe she was feeling a weird emotion to her like she was feeling the same.

"I know that is time for me to set free

But there is still an emptiness inside me

My life without you baby it's just hard for me to imagine

Odakyusen no madoni

I see those cherry blossoms

Although you're far away

I can feel you next to me..."

"After we got our job, the job that we dreamt for ages from our teenage, we're succeeded to be the one who we wanted to be and luckily we met in the same hospital by fate and we started liking working with each other like we did in our High school and University, we stayed here loving our professions..."...

"But two years latter Jack Sensai came to our hospital and he introduced himself as a new Pharmacy Manager. Actually it was the old pharmacy medicine department from where our hospital brought and prescribed most of the medicines. We coincidentally befriended with each other and it was for the first time I noticed Senpai letting anyone know about herself..."

"... She never opened to strangers and my suspicion was right. She started liking him and after that Jack Sensai also started to liking her back and then one day they accepted that they love each other. Believe me Jack Sensai was so handsome, gentle and kind man then I was also be fooled that I never noticed his real form. Senpai and Sensai were in a relationship for 7 months then one day this wonderful daydream shattered for Sakura Senpai", I completed my words and gave a look for Senpai to finish the last. She nodded.

"Yeah we usually hang out and passed time together knowing about each other more and he confessed, I accepted. But as a doctor I was not able to give him time always and he understood that. One day when I was in hospital doing my duty suddenly I caught his figure from the distance I ran there to meet up with him and say 'Hi' but there is a female officer blocked my way then I got to know everything..."...

"...I'd been heard a rumour was going around our hospital "Green Life" that a sudden or some smuggler was here and helping the drug selling and not only it but also some Hospital staffs and security guards event doctors and nurses vanishing mysteriously with it. Police rated that for 1 month but failed to trace any clue so everyone shrugged it off for just a rumour spreading for raising bad words against our famous Hospital..."

"... But that day I saw Jack be the one smuggling in with them. The medicine Pharmacy Hospital prescribed, their previous manager was died mysteriously and later found out he was murdered by some unknown. Day by day the drug smuggling was going through our hospital that we hadn't any clue and Jack was one of the only head of that. He loved me or just used me I don't know but he lied to me and used me as an excellent opportunity to come to our hospital often", She stopped for a bit.

"I was totally heartbroken I have loved someone for the first time with my heart and he take advantage of me he lied, used me for his own benefit not only that he is a totally a Yandere I think if I ever tried to like someone other than him he sounded like probably kill him or them and he did the time he got arrested the crimes and alligation are against him..."

"... I was heartbroken, that day our whole Hospital workers, staffs, manager doctor, nurses every one were being enquired by the police department. When they interrogated me I was broken but said everything I know and I am glad they justified me and let me go in the name of justice..."

"... That day after coming home I cried so much that I don't even know I had a mental breakdown for one week but I can not neglect my duty as a doctor so I keep doing my job and others who knows about us supported me and I am really grateful for this so that's the whole story...", She sighed tiredly.

Sakura Senpai hoped in the park branch it is already the time of sunset the parks lights lighten up the dark Manhattan also started to light the dark Manhattan City Manhattan town also started to light up like the Manhattan Bridge.

"I'm sorry to hear that", Sora San looked at the ground. "No problem, it's been many days so I wanted to forget about it until Jack showed up again", Senpai groaned in disappointment.

"Senpai past is past but please at least now you've a beautiful present and bright future so forget about that headache, Jack Sensai won't able to do anything better", I assured.

"Ya that's what I'm thinking also", she replied. "I'm sorry Sora for dragging you with here, please forget about Jack and his stupid words in the Café", Senpai said to her.

She smiled a little bit then finally I thought about changing the topic.

"Girls! Look at those Sakura trees they're so beautiful!", I exclaimed. Senpai just nodded and Sora San took some photos before started talking.

"Wow this park Cherry Blossoms are so beautiful and it's looking so romantic", Sora San pointed out.

I was absolutely agreed with her, "Spring is a season of Love". "Well I don't believe a silly girl like you understands romantic things", Senpai commented.

"HEY! I'm a teenager ok? So shut up Miss Arrogant and I'm not so interested in those things cause I'm single forever and proud of that", Sora San got mad.

"Haha told ya silly girl", Senpai smirked satisfied making this new girl gone crazy. I couldn't believe Senpai teasing someone like that.

Aww these two just looking so cute together. I couldn't stop fangirlling.

"Getting over you is what I've tried to do

Can't get you out of my mind

Why can't we be together

Now the way we used to be

While Senpai kept her taunting with Sora San, I suddenly became silent while resting my chin on my hands staring at the two girls who were elder from me.

Sora San and Sakura Senpai both noticed my glance and asked, "What happened?" I chuckled to myself.

"Believe me Sora San, I'm seeing the first time in my life that Sakura Senpai is so happy and free with someone even I'm her closest friend it hardly take one year to gain her trust I don't want to say but I admit I am jealous."

"It was hard to make friendship with Sakura Senpai. She was my neighbour but never talked to me when she shifted here in NYC from Tokyo. I thought I had never had a chance but we met in the same school still no use but finally I had met her in high school and fortunately I succeeded to gain her trust but it was hardly to be a total year then we studied in the same University", I said.

"Whoa you used to live in Tokyo? I didn't knew", Sora San commented. "Ya, I came here when I was 10 years old. It's been 12 years I'm a citizen of NYC", Senpai replied.

"Aww...", Sora San grabbed the ruby pendant, I was really curious about that thing.

"To say the truth when I first met her she never behaved so friendly with me, like you know you're so special! Cause Sakura Senpai hardly talk with strangers while out of hospital and in hospital only the medical staffs, other doctors, nurses, patient and patient parties. But she'd never been so free and seeming enjoying every moment with someone, thought I don't know how much time you're gonna stay but I really respect you for your wonderful personality that even the great Dr.K.K.Sakura can't resist you", I made Sora San completely speechless.

"You think I'm special?", She didn't have any idea. "Ya *slowly nodded* you are, believe me", I looked at my Senpai looking at her out of words.

"Ok enough talking, it's getting dark so I guess we gotta go! Are you coming or not?", Sakura Senpai tried to change the topic.

I looked at the time, oof- it was afternoon 5:30. Gosh, we'd literally ended up talking about those headache for an hour... Shoot!

"We'll live but, First I'm gonna give you a treat of hot chocolate so shut up your mouths and let me bring those", I looked at the park scenario, sun was going down slowly making a heart melting sunset, and the park's cherry blossom trees making it so romantic.

I started fangirlling then I remember that I'd to get the drinks oof-. I left the two alone and headed to the store in distance. "Uh I love spring~", I cooed.

Third Person's POV

In the springtime from April to May, the cherry blossom trees in Central Park attract nature lovers from all over the world.

It's easy to see why, as the splendor of their blooms is as stunning as it is explosive...

Sora and Sakura sat in the park in a comfortable silence until Sora spoke up. "So are you feeling alright now? I know you don't wanna talk about this but I prefer you to focus on yourself first", she said.

"Ya, I guess if Jack ever show up anywhere I'm gonna inform to the police, he's really a headache", Sakura commented.

"That's good. In this entire New York I loved this place, though my wish of visiting Statue of Liberty ruined but still I'm glad I came here. At night 9 we're heading back to Tokyo", Sora said. Sakura looked at her silently.

"I know that is time for me to set free

But there is still an emptiness inside me

My life without you baby it's just hard for me to imagine

Everytime I look outside the window

I see those cherry blossoms

Although you're far away

I can hear you

I can feel you next to me..."

"Wow the sky is so beautiful. I'm glad that I came to NYC", Sora's sapphire blue eyes sparkled.

The sky was surrounded by the colors of sunset, setting up an wonderful view.

"Ya, I forgot that you don't live here ha", she left out a dried smile wanting Sora stayed up a little bit but she didn't say out it.

Sora smiled sadly. "I wish I'll able to come back again and first I'll visit "Green Life" then Statue of Liberty", she said.

Sakura frowned, "Why? My hospital first?" "For you- I mean for you two. Sakura and Hanako, you two are great. It's my first time meeting some people who made me feel like home, thank you", Sora smiled gently.

"Ha if Hanako heard it then she's going to fry my brain all day please don't tell her when you'll come or she'll definitely gonna make me out of hospital to meet you", Sakura replied ironically. Sora blinked her eyes.

"Why? Hana Chan is so sweet", Sora said out. "Ya but you'll never know her from outside", Sakura commented.

"So tell me something about her! You're her Senpai right?", Sora pleaded.

"Ok. She is not a very feminine type of girl yet very stern and strict about her works. She is also very kind and compassionate to stray animals and poor people on streets. She is also said to be very alluring and charismatic with her body language and yet very graceful with her language and greeting", she said.

"Wow she's kinda matches with your personality but one difference you're arrogant but she's sweet", Sora said. Sakura cut her off, "Wait let me tell you more-

Drawbacks and Darkside: She has a contrast of sometimes getting vocally very aggressive and she always shows passive aggression when she is mad over an argument such like that. She is also very sarcastic and is rarely emotional to people who are annoying to her.", Sakura finished.

"LoL Senpai you don't have to say my eternal biography", Hanako returned with the hot chocolate.

"I guess she already made you crazy now eat this and clear your head", she first handed Sora the drink then to Sakura.

The three enjoyed that sitting on the bench."Oh my it's 5:45 PM I've to go then I've to get ready for boarding back to Tokyo", Sora got up and threw the empty cup in the trash.

"So that means you're leaving right?", Sakura asked. "Ya back to Tokyo, it's glad to meet you two", Sora smiled and embraced her and Sakura returned it.

Then Hanako also hugged her, "Aww and here I thought I'm gonna bond you two together and you two can quarrel forever. I love to see you two bickering together~", Hanako teased. "Ah! Hanako shut up!", Sakura scolded her and she giggled cutely.

"Aww you're adorable Hana Chan~ I promise I'll remember you two and I'll go to "Green Life" next time when I come here ok?", Sora cupped her cheeks.

"She's a little Devil! Sora you'll never know", Sakura commented. "Aww my Sakura Senpai is jealous hehe~", and Sakura again stopped Hanako's teasing words.

"See you again~", the three left the park heading to their respective directions.

Sora was so happy for that day's sudden encounter. Another way Sakura also. They both really admit it.

Inspite of her serious face Hanako knew that her Senpai agreed with her. She chuckled softly.

Full bloom of the cherry blossom trees is a sight to behold, and it's typically reached within a week after the first buds open...

Symbolic of the fleeting nature of life, their season is short-lived and the blossoms stick around for just a short time longer before their delicate petals fall to the ground, covering in a blanket of pink and white...
