That same day,Suyeon was smiling and giddy the whole day. Nothing upset her as she just brushed the issues away and continued her day with a bright smile,which was a little concerning to her best friend Hana.

The two girls were walking side by side in the hallway as Hana kept starring at her friend with a shocked face at seeing her smile so much.

"Um Su?" She called out making the girl turn to face her "Yeah?"

"Are you...okay?" She asked worriedly "Hmm I'm okay,why do you ask?" Suyeon replied watching Hana speak.

"No it's just that...you have been grinning the whole day and I'm scared if something happed or something" Hana revealed her frustration to which Suyeon chuckled.

"Oh don't worry,I'm completely fine,it's just that something really exciting happened this morning" She said looking at her moving feet and still smiling.

"Ehem,mind spilling the beans?" Hana nudged her friend with a cheeky expression as they entered their class,going to their seats. Hana was diagonally 2 seats In front of her and since it was break time,she hopped onto the empty seat before Suyeon.

"Come on come on tell me~" She urged,kicking her feet lightly.

"Jeez you seem happier than me" Suyeon joked "Just say it girl!" Hana repeated again.

"Okay okay,come closer" She said as Hana scooted closer for Suyeon to whisper.

"Remember the guy I texted accidentally? Yeah,Jake...He asked me out" The sudden detail about Suyeons recent events made Hanas eyes widen,she looked at her best friend, speechless.

"And...what did you say?"

"I said yes!" She said happily "What?!" Hana yelped making Suyeon jolt at her tone.

"Suyeon,are you stupid? Why would you say yes?!" She whisper screamed at her friend.

"Hana it's okay my mom lets me to date and I told him that I can't do anything serious" Suyeon reasoned with her friend.

"But still,you shouldn't have-" Suyeon cut Hana off by defending herself.

"Hana I know what I'm doing you don't need to worry please!"

"...Are you sure about this?" Hana asked in a rather calmer tone "Yes,I am. I know what I'm doing. Trust me,I do"

Hana sighed,still worried about her friend's safety "Okay,but you need to promise me that you will tell me if something doesn't seem right. Okay?" She asked with her pinky finger. Suyeon smiled and completed the pinky promise while shaking her head a yes.

She was acting like she took it lightly but actually she was smiling to herself,a weird feeling erupting in her heart reading his text. It was new to her,a guy being so open about his thoughts and by that of her.

JAKE
I just said what came to mind.

SUYEON

She began to type in a small paragraph to express her gratittude towards him,knowing how much guys are said to like reading paragraphs of dedication. She was still typing it in when she got a voiceclip. Her eyes widen with realization as she sat up straight from her laying position on the bed. 

"Oh my god this guy seriously did not just-" A smile crept up on her face as she increased the volume up enough for her. Tapped on the play button and kept it near her ear.

"Kang Suyeon,I love you...I really love you...mwah....tehe" The last giggle was barely audible,as if he was giddy and embarrassed of it.

The latter's face made an 'O' kicking her feet slightly. She tapped on it again as she rolled on her bed squealing.

"Oh my goodddddddd!" She said to herself, actually blushing at the voice clip.

JAKE
Su...

Um Su you there?

It's been 5 minutes,you seen online...

Are you there?

Suyeon was still busy fawning over the voice clip. Admiring how smooth and pretty his voice was. She imagines him saying it to her face,melting at the mere thought of seeing his rosy lips saying those three words that could make her heart erupt with warmth.

Suddenly her phone flashed with his caller ID. She let out a telp before clearing her throat and flattening her expression to normal before answering it.

"Um hey you alright?" Jake asked first. His voice sounding worried.

"H-huh? Oh what do you mean? Yeah I'm fine!" She chuckled thought deep down she still wasn't over the voice clip.

"Oh it's just that I saw you were on the chat but wasn't responding. I thought something was wrong after I sent you the voice clip" He laughed akwardly. A little embarrassed of sending something so cringy to a girl.

"Well...I mean... technically I'm NOT okay after hearing that but....I am at the same time" She said pursing her lips.

"Oh yeah?" He chuckled.

"Mhm~" She responded.

"Well just wait, you'll get a lot more like that soon" His voice only made it worse for Suyeon to not smile like an idiot.

"Oh well it'll only be to an extent...since we are far away" She teased.

"You better be careful with your words,you never know what could happen" He clicked his tongue with a short whistle.

"Yeah as if you could fly all the way to south Korea all of a sudden pfffttt" She laughed,a little sad at the same time at the thought of being in a long distance relationship. She never once thought her first ever relationship in life would be online. Suyeon never really liked the idea,it just felt unreal and fake to her but without even knowing she ended up in one.

"I have work related to Seoul,I might come there"

"And like you'd have time to spend with me" Her voice sounded a little sad yet she tried keeping her tone.

"A proper man would never be too busy for their woman" That itself made the girls jaw drop. Her heart fluttering as she muffled her squeal to her hand. She cleared her throat quickly speaking again.

"Glad to see you knowing about that line" She said with a hum.

"Yeah TikTok thought me to be the ideal man" He laughed.

"Well still you know,that's enough for me" The night and evening went by with them talking for an hour. Flirting here and there and talking about the recent events in their lives. Suyeons heavy sigh was what made Jake to bring up about sleeping.

"Are you tired? Or is me talking boring?" He suddenly said startling Suyeon.

"What!? Heck no I like listening to people talk about what they like. It's just that it's kinda late and I'm sleepy" She said feeling her eyelids getting heavier with every blink.

"Oh then you better get to sleep. I'll talk to you tomorro-"

"No way I'm pulling an all nighter,go on. You were telling me about how Jay ate your food when you left it on the table for a little while" She urged him to keep going with where he left off at.

The fact that she was actually listening regardless of her tiredness made Jake feel happy inside.

"Yeah I felt betrayed but it was quite reasonable since his order was taking longer and no Su you need to go to sleep. You're still a student you need to get enough sleep" He ordered.

"No it's alright I want to talk to you longer" He felt his heart beat louder even more at that. A smile creeping up his lips.

"We can call later tomorrow after you come back from school. I promise I will. Just go to bed for me alright?"

A huge sigh left Suyeons mouth as she pursed her lips and nodded her head "Okay...fine and thank you for today. It really made me happy to talk to you after what? A day of not talking since we became....a thing?"

"I feel the same. Thank you for staying up for me. But please don't stay up too late. Eat your meals on time and rest"

"You too okay? You work more than me so you need more rest" She said worriedly as the pictures of him modelling and doing alot of work flashed through her mind.

"Alright Su. Good night. I love you and take care baby" Su almost squealed at the nickname. Her voice getting stuck in her throat as she tried to calm her racing heart. The sides of the corner of her lips hurting from how much she is smiling over at the nickname. His velevety voice and Australian accent made it even more unbearable for her to just stay still.

"Good night Jake...I...love youtoo!" She quickly muttered before ending the call out of embarrassment and the feeling giddy. Kicking her feet in the air and covering her face with her hands and squealing untill her cheeks were flushed red.

"Oh god...EEEEEEE!" She yelped thinking back to it again. Her heart feeling warm inside as she stared at the celling,a big smile on her face.

"Mom Suyeon needs a mental hospital!" Her brother yelled from behind her door "I think she's going crazy!"

The said girl would've normally shooed her brother away but right now she was too occupied to even think of anything else but the past event.
