➥ DEAR KACKY'S, i'm writing this to inform you of new updates that will be coming..unfortunately, for the moment i'm not putting out new chapters, i am however, going to be rewriting every chapter i've posted previous to this one, as well as editing them (because, as you've all seen, i most definitely did not care about the way things looked back when i first started writing this book). i have come to this decision after a lot of hard thinking, as well as not feeling as if i had anywhere to go after a serious bout of writers block regarding this particular set of characters. the reasoning for this? i started writing kat and co. on a pure whim, all i had was an idea for a character and the intense need to get it out, like with a lot of my earlier books, i didn't have any set plan or goal for where i wanted the plot to go and how i wanted my characters to grow and act as individuals, now that im over two years into it, not only has my writing style changed drastically, but i've also come to notice not only a lot of plot holes, but holes in my characters' development and personalities and story arcs as well, and i would sincerely love to fix those major problems before i continue writing this. I do have plans for where this book is going, and for the entire second half to make sense and look good, and feel good to me, the entire book as it sits right now has to match and has to accurately lead up to it. 

 i am also considering a title change, and will most definitely be updating the cover as well (while i do love the one i have, i feel like one with my own personal touch would be much more suiting), and in lieu of the possible title change, i am taking suggestions, so if you have a title in mind that you think would be fitting for the book, please do comment on this specific paragraph. I cannot promise that i will actually go through with it, as i am rather partial to the one that i have currently, but if i do, whoever gave me the idea for the new one will get an honorable mention. 

for every chapter i have re-written and edited, i will be posting it in a list at the very front of the book so that you guys can know and will be able to go and re-read them ! 

with those things said, i would like to announce for those that don't follow my message board posts or read my other books, on october second, i gave birth to a beautiful, healthy baby girl, who we named Flora Isabella, and i absolutely could not be any happier!  my shitty update schedule, or lack thereof, as of late has been due to my horrible experiences during pregnancy (constant back pain and illness, as well as a horrible heart failure and pre-term labor scare and back labor, not to mention the leaky boobs almost my entire pregnancy), and just not having the time now that she's here, although i do plan to start working on my rewriting as soon as possible, starting today (i already have a prologue half written) !
