Summer arrived and some might say Panem was the most beautiful place on earth. Gorgeous nature stretches through the land and surrounds the only nation left after The War. It's just too bad one fateful event has to fall on a sunny day every year around this time. It's just too bad it always has to be children who have to suffer through it. You know it's time when there's an unusual amount of peacekeepers guarding the gates, when there's more restrictions than usual, when you see the stage get built in the town's center — "74th annual Hunger Games" is beaming on the big bright screen this time. That's when you know you have to be prepared for the worst.
