"Okay, get her down" Nancy says to Mike and Asher, who are carrying Eleven.

After what happened at the cabin, Eleven needed help with her leg, and with there being no medical supplies at the cabin, they had to go somewhere else. So, Asher being the criminal out of the group, ended up breaking the group into the grocery store so Eleven wouldn't bleed to death.

"Okay, lemme see" Nancy says after Mike and Asher had carefully sat Eleven down on the floor

"Oh shit" Max says in shock as Nancy rolls up Eleven's jeans to see blood quickly pouring out of her leg.

"You know what, it could be worse" Asher comments, making everyone look at him confused "She could have no leg at all."

"Ash" Eleven quietly says, making Asher look at her "Not the time."

"Yeah, you're in pain, sorry" Asher says before getting up, letting Nancy do her job as she gets the sterile wipes out.

"What are you doing?" Max asks Nancy, making her stop.

"I'm cleaning the wound" Nancy says like it's obvious.

"No, first, we need to stop the bleeding, then clean, then disinfect, then bandage" Max explains, making everyone look confused "I skateboard, trust me."

"Where has she been all of the times that I get fucked up?" Asher whispers to Lucas and Will. The two of them knew that Asher would always show up with mysterious injuries, and they had an idea of where they came from, but Asher never told them. So, they just never brought up the fact that they knew it was from his dad because if they did bring it up, Asher would shut the idea down straight away.

"We're going to need water and some soap" Max says to Nancy and Jonathan, who get up to go and look for it before Lucas gets his bag, pouring it all out onto the floor.

"Does any of this help?" Lucas asks Max, just wanting to be helpful.

"No. Go get me a wash cloth and a bowl" Max says, looking at the three boys who are standing there before turning back to focus on Eleven's wound.

"A bowl? What the fuck do you need a bowl for?" Asher asks, being confused, like he is a lot of the time.

"Ash" Max says with a sigh, looking back at the three.

"Let's go" Will says to Asher and Lucas before the three turn around to wander around the shop, looking for what they needed.

"Have you still not told her yet?" Lucas asks Asher. Since Lucas had basically agreed to be Asher's wing man, he wanted to know ever detail about what was going on between Asher and Max. Lucas felt like he needed to know so when Asher needed advice, Lucas already had all of the details he needed to give the best advice possible.

"I sort of did but she just stayed silent" Asher says with a shrug "I don't think anything is going to happen."

"It is going to happen" Lucas reassures Asher "She likes you, man."

"Are you two talking about Max?" Will asks, making Asher look confused "I mean, it's pretty obvious that you two have a thing for each other."

"See! She likes you! Even Will knows" Lucas says very loudly as they come across the fireworks display "Oh shit" He says with a smile as the three walk over to it "Satan's baby. You ever shot one of these suckers?"

"So, is it sweet?" Will asks as Lucas looks at the fireworks like they're the love of his life.

"That's an understatement" Lucas says to Will.

"That doesn't look like a bowl" Max bluntly says as she walks over to the three.

"Nah, it's way better" Asher says with a smile, trying not to piss Max off.

"There is a reason this warning label says eighteen or older" Lucas explains to the girl "This sucker is filled with a hundred and fifty grains of black powder. AKA gunpowder" He says, throwing it to Max "Strap two of these together, and it's bigger than an M-80. Five of them, we've got ourselves a stick of dynamite."

"You wanna kill that thing with fireworks?" Max asks, being confused.

"Do you have a better idea?" Lucas asks.

"Uh, yeah. Eleven" Max says before throwing the fireworks back to Lucas.

"Come on, Max. With Eleven's leg being fucked she's going to need all the help she can get" Asher explains, making Max roll her eyes "These can help."

"Oh my God" Max says with a sigh before looking at Asher "Can I talk to you, alone?"

"Um" Asher says, looking at Will and Lucas who are nodding their heads, before looking back at Max "Yeah sure" He says before Max starts walking away, with Asher following her "So, what's up?"

"About the last time we talked" Max says, making Asher sigh "I just don't want things to be awkward and I think--"

"Awkward? No, nothing's awkward. Look at us, talking like normal, nothing awkward here" Asher tells Max, not really wanting to get rejected with everything going on at the moment.

"Look, just with everything going on right now, I just don't think it's the right time" Max says to Asher. Yes, she does like him, but with everything going on with the Mind Flayer and Billy, it wasn't the best time to be thinking about relationships.

"I'm not going to take back what I said, you know" Asher says to Max "I said it and I meant it. I don't want to be just friends with you, okay? Remember when I told you that all I want for a girlfriend is for her to know me?" Asher asks, making Max nod his head "You actually know me, Max, and I'm not letting that go so easily."

"Asher--" Max goes to say but Asher cuts her off.

"I'm not letting that go" Asher says to Max.

"Fuck it" Max mumbles before walking closer to Asher, before kissing him, making him instantly kiss her back.

"So are we forgetting about just being friends?" Asher jokes with a laugh as they pull away, making Max roll her eyes.

"You're really annoying, you know that right?" Max asks with a smile.

"You love it though" Asher says before quickly kissing her again.

"I knew it!" A voice shouts, making Max and Asher pull away to see Lucas and Will stood there with a smile on their faces.

"What do you want?" Asher asks, annoyed that they had interrupted him and Max.

"Um, so Dustin might be in trouble" Lucas awkwardly says, making Asher glare at him.

"What do you mean Dustin might be in trouble?" Asher asks Lucas, walking closer to him.

"El found him, he's at the mall" Will says to Asher "We're going there now."

"And we have backup" Lucas happily says with a trolley full of fireworks.

"Okay, then what are we waiting for? Let's go" Asher says to the four as they go to find the rest of the group to leave.
