Wyatt tosses her arm over my shoulder as we walk out the Power plant with the rest of everyone. I watch as Addison talks to Zed, hopefully they can get over this bump she's been ranting to me about. I lean my head on Wyatt shoulder and wave as Zed glances over at us, but I snap my head up when I see him pull a necklace out of his pocket. The moonstone necklace Addison lost to be specific.ย

Now reasonably I would assume he found it but, the guilty look across his face says otherwise. "He found it!" Addison calls over to use, I shot her a small smile but it's only half hearted as I piece together what actually happened. I flinch when she hugs him excitedly, "What's wrong are you in pain?" Wyatt questions softly. "No but your about to find out." I whisper as I watch Zed shift uncomfortably, he's going to tell her and her reaction won't be pretty.

I withheld a sigh as I watch them fight, I burry my head into Wyatt's shoulder as the air around us grew hostile. I relax a little as Wyatt hold me close and leans his head onto mine, but I look back when I hear Addison start to walk away. Looking at her I see her standing there but with her hands behind her head and under her hair. "Here we go, moment of truth." I whisper, I hear it shine and glow but as she turns around she stood there with her hands in the air to bare her claws.ย

Only...she didn't have any. She didn't have claws, she didn't have fangs, she didn't have beautiful glowing yellow eyes. She was just Addison, beautiful, unique, Addison. "My dear, your beautiful," I call softly, "But the same beautiful you've always been," Bree finishes. I watch Addison's face fall with a heavy heart.ย

"She's not a werewolf," Wyatt's voice cracked slightly. I lean my head close to him, "That's okay, I think I can be more like (y/n) instead." She smiles but it's a bit broken, "Addison, my dear, everyone has magic inside them. But...those who wield it... they show at birth. A witch kills their mother when born, its a passing of the torch from mother to child." I explain softly. Gasps fill the air at the new information, "I consider myself lucky to wield magic, but I would consider myself blessed if I had a mother instead." I whisper with a pained smile.

The silence is broken by a panicked worker, "Oh my gosh! Boss! Boss! We have a problem!" They call. "What?" Zed's dad asks, "The remote shorted out, and now the detonation time is running!" He answers. My head snaps up at the panicked man, "Well shut it off!" Zed's dad demands, "I can't!" The worker panics. "No! No!" He yells running forward and I'm quick to follow.ย

My eyes widen as I watch the building explode, "NO!" I scream. Without so much as processing what I'm doing I race forward andย  swing my hands up as the building starts to fall. I catch it but the pressure weights more than I thought, I let out a cry. I have to keep it up! I have to keep it up! "(y/n)!" I hear Wyatt call to me, "NO! I HAVE TO KEEP IT UP!" I cry. I let out a sob as I fall to my knees, even so I keep my hands in the air.ย

But my heart sinks as I hear small sounds of tumbling, I sob again and my hands shake. "(y/n), let it go," Wyatt whispers closer. I look to the sound of his voice only to find him kneeling down beside me. "It's going to be okay, it's going to be okay. Just let it go," He whispers as his hands cup mine and slowly drag them down. I let out a sob as the building comes down with me, Wyatt wraps his arms around me as I sob into him. We sat there on the ground as I cry into his chest, he strokes my hair quietly doing his best to comfort me.ย

But then Wyatt starts to cough, I pull away quickly to cup his face with my hands. My eyes widen as his eyes glow and his breathing becomes hard. I don't hesitate to reach for my necklace, but his hand catches mine. "No...Save it...Save it for the others," He coughs, gently he interlaces our hands and pulls them close to his chest as he coughs. I felt my chest fall as I feel him struggle to breathe. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry my love," I whisper, "We'll be okay (y/n), We'll be okay." Wyatt smiles weakly.

I skip school the next day, instead I spend my time at the wolf den. Where I used the last of my moonstone in a multiplier potion to keep everyone from being too sick, but it only did so much. I brought books there from my house and read for solutions while Willa, Wyatt, and Wynter cared for the people who didn't get much better even with my potion. In that time I found something to sooth the pain, but that wasn't a solution, just a small fix.

Day became night and I spent it with Wyatt. We had laid in bed soaking up what we all we could of each other, it was blissful but it made me all the more scared to lose him. To lose the true Wyatt I have grown to love.

When day came again the weak grew weaker and the sick grew sicker. I had no energy left to heal them and the quick fix I found did little for their worsening condition. Today I sit with the were-pups in the den, they're sick. Just like everyone else. One sits in my lap as two other curl into my sides, all three of them wrapped in blankets.ย

"Hush, my rose. Still, and look at the Moon tonight. Do you see the shadows there? This world is full of twisty frights And spooks who love to scare." I croon to themย softly. Gently I lift my hand in the air and chant a small spell in a whisper careful not to disturb the melody of the song. When I used the last of the moonstone energy I lost the ability to use magic without chanting. In the air a small string of light flutters around the room for all to see. I smile as I see some of the werewolves lean back and watch it peacefully.

"Feel how the wind blows through your bones. See the treetops shake and shiver. Just like the wind, we take to flight And make the grown men quiver." I sing soothingly to the room. The string of light dances making loops and swirls as it moves through the entire room as I hum the melody of the song. "There is magic inside of you." I call out to the room.

"Hush, my rose. Still, and watch as they fly away. With the moonlight on their wings. You'll join their merry haunt someday.ย  Hear how they howl and sing." I croon as the string of light bursts unable to preform any longer. My magic is weaker, I'm unable to put on the light shows I once did or even hold a simple strand of light for more than a few minutes. I flinch as the children cough around me. Quickly I quietly re-chant my spell to create another string of light, before humming the song again.

"There is magic inside of you. Light on your feet, Past windows you creep, Follow the cat as black as ink. One step ahead, While they're tucked in bed. You'll find secrets dark and secrets deep." I chant to the wolves around me. My string of light once again dances in the air as all the werewolves watch it with care and wonder. Like a spark of hope in the dark world they're coming to. I hum the melody again but slowly soften my tone.ย

"There is magic inside of you," I call gently into an ending, "Hush" I whisper officially ending the song as my string of light bursts again. I couldn't find myself to care though, I look down at the three sleeping were-pups as finally finding a little peace. "A part of me is glad I understand why your so good with pups," Wyatt whispers, I smile up at him as he stands in front of us. I nod my head gently, "Are you scared?" He asks softly, "Terrified." I correct with a quiet laugh. "But I know, in the end...It'll be worth it." I smile down on the were-pup in my arms. "I think so too if they end up looking like you," He smiles, "And what about the father?" I question with a laugh. "I think I can live with them not having my handsome looks if they look like you," He answers smugly.ย

"Bold of you to assume I would want to have children with you," I scoff as I gently set the child in my lap with the others before standing with Wyatt. "Well last night was a pretty good st..." He chuckles smugly but I cover his mouth with my hand before he could say anymore. Wyatt lifts his eyebrow at me before taking my wrist and pulling me off. He flips my hand over and kiss the back of my hand before intertwining them. "I love you," He whispers, "I love you too." I smile as he pushes his forehead against mine.ย

Wyatt's head suddenly turns away from mine, looking over my shoulder my eyes widen to see Zed. Wyatt pushes me behind him and growls, but it causes him to cough and stumble. I push him to stand straight before sending him a small smile, I glance over to Willa who slowly makes her way up behind us. "They were wrong to destroy Seabrook power. And (y/n) I'm sorry I hurt you when you were only trying to protect the ones you care about." he starts.

I glance at Willa and Wyatt, both give me a nod before I look back at Zed. "Continue, but make it quick." I spoke harshly, "And I was wrong about werewolves. You guys have every right to fight for who you are. Especially you (y/n) who spent so long hiding it." He continues. "Yeah, but what are we now Zombie?" Wyatt scoffs.

"Your fierce, proud werewolves!" He declared strongly, "yeah, well they think we're monsters," Willa scoffs. "We are monsters," he smirks, my eyes widen as Zed holds out a dress bag. "Zed..." I warn, "What's this for?" I question. "We my dear Witch, are going to crash the prawn." He grins, "And why would we do that?" Wyatt scoffs. "Because while they think they have won, they need to learn that even when weakened monsters don't back down. We get up, dust ourselves off, and try again." Zed grins.ย

"I didn't even plan to go to Prawn in the first place Zed! where did you get this?" I scoff looking down at the bag. Zed's eyes widen and he shifts, "I uh...I went to your house to get you. I thought that maybe if I could convince you, convincing the wolves would be easier. But when I got there your dad answered the door." He mumbles.ย  My eyes widen at the confession.

"He invited me in and I just kinda...unloaded on him. Your dad is a very good listener by the way." He continues, "He's a doctor Zed, he has to be. Now get to the reason why you have this!" I sigh. "Right well uh, I explained all what was going on and he just kinda patted my shoulder and told me to sit still. I watched him go up the stairs and come back down with this. He told me to give it you and when I found you and say it...belonged to her. whatever that means." He finishes. I let out a gasp and my eyes dart down to the dress in my hands, "This dress Zed...belonged to my mother. And if it's the dress I think it is, this is the dress my mother wore when she went to Prawn with my father." I explain softly.ย

"Oh wow!" He gasps, "Well I guess that explains one thing. But he gave me this too and told me to give it to Wyatt." Zed mumbles as he reaches into his pocket. I let out a laugh as he pulls out aย pin, one that sticks through the fabric of a suit jacket. Typically near the breast pocket, Zed hands it to Wyatt carefully and he brings it closer to his face to see what decorated the little accessory.ย

"Honeysuckles!" Wyatt gasps over to me, "Is your dad a witch too?" He questions. "No he just read a book on flower meanings when he met my mom. She had the same little quirk I do, and dad always told me she sprouted honey suckles everywhere they went." I muse softly. "I should have done that, when I meet him do you think he'll let me borrow that book?" He questions, I shrug "Perhaps," I giggle.

"Come on guys we need to get there soon! And we still have to pick up the Zombie crew!" Zed calls, "Right! Right!" I laugh. I drape the dress over one arm before grabbing Willa and Wyatt by their hands to pull up the stairs. "Come on we have to get everyone ready! No one can be left behind if I have anything to say about it" I grin. "Got it! No wolf left behind," Wyatt nods, "No wolf left behind." Willa agrees. "Oh this is going to be so much fun!" I grin.
