Am I that easy to forget?
Has it all been so easy to forget?
Every taste from our biting lips
or the subtle rolls of pleasure,
the tang of rust in my veins
that ran free with the weather.
All of these swallowed lisps
and our feathered skin,
the delicate poison you feed me
and the sighs that found an escape.
