Meridiem is a very driven and hard working person, she hardly kets others get in the way of her goals and aspirations. She is unsatisfied with her small village life but would never express it to her father who takes pride in his work as much as she does. She wants to do more with her life but never takes what she has for granted. She works hard everyday and generally focuses on others happiness rather than herself. She rarely/never expresses unwanted or negative emotions and doesn't share too many thoughts. She says little most of the time, except when politics, morals, or work is involved. She has very high moral standards and most of the time can't help but be completely honest. She is a leader and a quirky but serious big sister type. She doesn't conform easily and is very stubborn when it comes to some things. She is generally level headed but can get passionate about things previously mentioned.

Both her parents were killed in a widespread massacre in her village when she was an infant. This never disturbed her too much because her God father, whom she fully considers her father, took her in with open arms. He is a hardworking carpenter, though not the richest at that. He is very much like her but is much more traditional. He believes that everyone born in the village must work all their lives to improve it and that is their legacy. Her village worships the 4 gods and goddesses of the 4 different elements and she was raised on it. The good book is in Latin and that's the only advanced education she ever received. Other than that it was basic math and some science.

𝓫𝓪𝓬𝓴𝓼𝓽𝓸𝓻𝔂~backstory
Meridiem was born into a poor family who had nothing but live to offer her. She had two older sisters, one a year older than her and the other a fraternal twin. Her twin was conceived much earlier than her and so when I came time for her to be born, Meridiem was born with her, even though it was too early. Regardless she came in the world with her head held high. Her sisters were named Morning and Night, and she was named Meridiem because it is Afternoon in Latin. Latin is the one language her family is educated in. When she was 8 months old, a party of terrorists and raiders came into their village, massacring a 3rd of their people and taking others as slaves. They stole everything. And so, Meridiem finding a new home with her god father, they all had a brand new start. She had never known any life other than the one she had, so she never found it in herself to grieve her family. But she was determined to do as her father asked and help the village all she could. She knows little else than work, never having gone to school, but makes a point to stay connected to her community and help whoever she can.

She might not outright admit it, but she loves fashion. Both feminine and masculine clothing appeal to her. The thing she's absolutely most passionate about is people, bettering the lives of people and making them happy. Even though she can have a twisted way of showing it sometimes. She loves waking up everyday and doing her routine. One of her favorite foods is spicy sausage. She really likes children, playing games with them. She doesn't like to be gender specific, other than being called a she. She likes having the freedom of being tomboyish or girly whenever she wants or feels.

People who are overly pretentious and flaunt their status or education, when something is TOO clean or neat (she doesn't believe in perfection), people who have bad morals, when people say that dirty or beaten up hands are "unattractive in a woman", gender roles, selfish tyrants, Sundays

babysitting children, (friendly) physical competitions, camping, going to the waterfall that's half a mile from her village, looking at pottery (not making, just looking) going to markets out of town is something she rarely gets to do, but it's a treat

that nothing she will ever do will be enough, she'll never be more than a lumberjack, she'll never make a difference big enough to speak of, fear of opening up to people about dark emotions, fear of being alone in a room full of snooty intellectuals
