I'm back home in Austin been hanging out with my sister and her friends, trying to start of the summer right. I come back from my afternoon jog and enter my apartment, the phone rings and walked over to answer it.

"Hello?" I Said

"Hey Sonya." Shawn Said

I rolled my eyes and smiled a little "Shawn is this you, how did you get my number?"

"Amy she gave it to me a the last time I was at work." Shawn Said

"I'm gonna kill her, but why are you calling me?" I Asked

"Remember we had plans we talked about, I remember correctly you said that you live in Austin..guess what I live I sunny San Antonio." Shawn Said

"Oh yeah I remember, wait your still home." I Said

"Yup been home for like two weeks now, I'm enjoying my time off. But, I want to have some fun while I'm out here..so are you busy today?" Shawn Said

I thought for a second I've never actually hung out with this guy before, he seems cool when he's not being an ass.

"..Uh" I Said

"Come on sweetheart I'm not asking you out on a date or anything, just a friendly hangout that's all." Shawn Said

"You sure?" I Asked

"Absolutely cross my heart." Shawn Said

"...Fine Michael's I'll hang out with you today, tell me your address so I can meet you." I Said

"No No I invited you out so I have to come pick you up, tell me yours?" Shawn Asked

I told him my address and he chuckled a little bit and said he'll be here in about an hour, I took this time to quickly get ready.

Ryland arrived home after work and was sitting on my bed wondering where I was going, asking many questions as I apply my makeup on.

"So your not going on date?" Ryland Asks

"No." I Said

"So you guys are just hanging out..as friends?" Ryland Asks

"We're not really friends..yet I mean I still hardly know him, but he's willing to get to know me." I Said putting on my mascara

"Hmm okay..have fun on your "Not Date" with Shawn." Ryland Said

There's a knock on the door, Ryland gets off my bed and she leaves my room to go answer the door.

"Hey Ryland right?" Shawn Said

"Yeah. Hey how are you?" Ryland Asked

"Good really good, is your sister home?" Shawn Asked

"Yes she's getting ready, but come in." Ryland Said

"Cool Thanks." Shawn Said

Shawn enters the apartment and looks around admiring the nicely decorated apartment, Ryland walked over to the counter and poured herself some water. I took one last glance in the mirror then closed my door and walked into the living room.

"Would you like something to drink Shawn?" Ryland Asked

"No No it's okay, I had some water a few minutes ago thanks." Shawn Smiled

"Wow you actually came, didn't get lost on the way." I Said laughing a bit

"Nope you actually live only about an hour from me, but nice neighborhood really nice." He slowly approaches me "You look nice..cool shoes." Shawn Said

"Thanks I was going to go with my boots but it's way to hot outside today, plus I did just get a pedicure." I Said As Shawn looks at my feet

"Hmm you have really pretty toe's." Shawn Said

"Okay Don't be creepy." I Said

Ryland starts laughing a bit, Shawn and I look over at her.

I raised my brow "What's so funny?"

"Nothing it's just..you guys are so good & bad a flirting, not you of course Shawn." Ryland Said

"Can we just go already." I Said

"Sure let's go Sonya." He opened the door for me

"I'll see you when I get back home." I Said

Ryland nods and jumps on the couch, Shawn waved goodbye to Ryland and closed the door, I walked to his car door and he stopped me from opening it.

"What?" I Said

"First thing to know about me, I don't let girls open their own doors when I invite them outside." He Opens the door for me "Momma raised a gentlemen." Shawn Said

"Thank you Hickenbottom." I Said

I gently patted his cheek and got inside the car sitting on the passenger side, he closed the door and got in on the other side.

"Now where are we going exactly?" I Asked

"To have fun, something you probably haven't had in a while." He starts the engine "Now sit back relax and enjoy the ride Sawyer." Shawn Said

Shawn turned on the radio and pulled off from my apartment complex, I sat back and listened to the music as he drove us to god knows where.

We've been on the road for almost two in a half hours now, I'm starting to get very curious to where he's taking me. I look ahead and we approached an arena and there were cars and people everywhere.

"Here we are." Shawn Said

"Wait a second why are we here at an arena?" I Asked

"What does it look like..we're going to a Pearl Jam concert." He Unbuckled his seatbelt, I stared at him shocked "What do you not like Pearl Jam?" Shawn Asked

"No No I love them it's just...how did you get these tickets?" I Asked

"Oh you see I bought them a couple weeks ago, I asked my buddies if the wanted to come with..Paul said no, Kevin, Scott and Sean are to busy working..so the only person I thought and knew wouldn't pass up tickets is you." Shawn Said

"How'd you know I liked Pea—Amy told you as well huh." Shawn Nods "Next week when I get back to work I'm going to strangle her." I said

"So Sawyer are you coming to the concert with me or not?" He holds up the two tickets in my face "...1..2.." Shawn Said

I take the ticket from him "Alright alright let's just hurry up and get inside."

"Okay." Shawn Said

We both left his car and walked to the entrance gate, once inside we sat down in our chairs and we had good seats as well. Through out the concert we both would sing our hearts outs, there was times I would look over and see him just singing and he would do the same to me. Towards the end of the show, the band decided to end playing "Black" I swayed along to the song and did my own little dance, Michael's would look at me and smiles shaking his head but I didn't care I could literally dance to any song.

After The Show ended Shawn and I decided to grab a bite to eat after from all the singing and screaming.
I ordered a pasta and he ordered a steak, I'm chewing my food and I look up to see him watching me eat.

"Why are you watching me eat?" I Asked

"Don't know, you know I've been on dates with girls before and none of them eats the way you do." Shawn Said

"Oh yeah which is what?" I Asked

"I think you eat adorable." Shawn Said

I've never been told that before, considering I've always been a little shy to eat around guys because I'm always thinking maybe their judging me on how I'm chewing or something.

"Thanks...so Shawn, before you drive me all the way back to Austin I just wanted to say thank you..I really had a great night tonight. Definitely a fun way to start off my summer." I Said

"No problem honestly the guys probably wouldn't have had that much fun anyways like you did, plus your a die hard fan." Shawn Said

"Yeah I first heard of them back in college, it was my sophomore year and I was busy training at my school...all I know is that I'm in the ring with my classmate we're doing a collar & elbow tie up and I hear this song and I instantly fell in love." I Smiled

We went back to eating our food, Shawn was cutting up his steak with a butter knife and he was struggling a bit which made me laugh.

"You need help over there?" I Asked

"No No I got it, this part is just being a stubborn son of a bitch." Shawn Said

"Please let me." I Said

He pushed the plate of food over to me, I picked up my butter knife and ran that knife through the meat until it separated.

"And you sir are welcome." I pushed his plate back over to him

"Thanks." Shawn Said then took a bite out of steak

"So Shawn..when are you coming back to raw after the whole you know fight and everything?" I Asked

"Uhh I really don't know if I'm coming back actually." Shawn Said

I furrowed my brows at him "What do you mean your not coming back?"

"I mean Sonya I don't think I want to come back okay, Look I think it's time maybe I should switch over to WCW...you know being with my friends plus I don't have to see Brett everyday." Shawn Said

"So what you told Vince this?" I Asked

"Damn right I did, I walked into his office and said I don't want to work here anymore...Sonya I just think it's time, this was my breaking point." Shawn Said

He went on the next couple of minutes rambling on about how he's not happy where he's at right now, this thing with Brett is really bothering him and he miss having all his friends around in the company.

"I understand your frustration right now with the company and probably your personal life but, maybe you should really think about this." I Said

"Son-" Shawn Said

"No just listen okay, you are Vince's golden boy and the fans love & hate you. Plus your great in the ring, you could wrestle a broom stick and the match would still draw a lot." We Laugh "look I'm just saying, take the time you need to figure this out all right..don't go to soon I'll miss seeing my new friend." I Said

Shawn looked up at me and I smiled a little

"I'm sorry did you just call me a "friend"?" Shawn Said

"Yea I did...I can't admit even though you are annoying I do look forward to seeing you backstage and no it's not because of the cheesy pick up lines." I Said

"I feel better now knowing you'd miss be backstage." He laughed " At least someone will." Shawn Said

We shared a meaningful look with one another then went back to eating our dinner and getting to know one another.
