One of the oldest and wealthiest families, the Noble and Most Ancient House of Black boasts one of the proudest pureblood histories.

Among the three most powerful names in the United Kingdom today, Malfoy is a name not to be forgotten. The family first arrived in England in the early 11th century, and claim to be at close hand of many of the monarchs of England since.

It is often said of the Malfoy family that you will never find one at the scene of the crime, though their fingerprints might be all over the guilty wand. Independently wealthy, with no need to work for a living, they have generally preferred the role of power behind the throne, happy for others to do the donkey work and to take the responsibility for failure. They have helped finance many of their preferred candidates' election campaigns, which have (it is alleged) included paying for dirty work such as hexing the opposition.

Their manor lies in Wiltshire, England, with a crest that pays homage to Salazar Slytherin using the colours of green and black, as well as bearing the images of several serpentine creatures. The motto is

These days, the family has fallen from grace, reduced to living in a small shack with only a few family heirlooms from the past. Were it not for the arrival of one promising young wizard on the scene, this house was thought to be a lost cause. Their crest is a skull and a serpent.

He is destined for greatness, be that terrible or good.

The noble House of Nott is another ancient family, tracing its roots to the druids of Ireland, and old and unique magical line. Although the family is almost completely anglicised, they hold many relics, and still keep some of their traditions. Their crest is a adorned with Celtic symbols and a rising Augurey, also known as the Irish Phoenix. Their ancestral home is a manor in Donegal, Ireland. Their motto is:

On the IQ scale, Marlowe surpasses everyone. Respected by all his peers, Marlowe is not someone you knowingly dare to cross.
Often, he and Riddle are at odds, because sometimes they are so similar they feel one is invading the other's space. He is aloof where Tom is utterly charming. He is proud, but doesn't have the same charisma as Tom that makes him the leader and not Marlowe. But if they were to reach an agreement and overcome their pride, these two together could be an unstoppable force.
