JM'S POV
A deep sigh left my lips, as I flipped through the pages of the newspaper. It's been two weeks since Chaeyoung had left and one week since I got the divorce papers to sign. The sound of doorbell brought me on my foot, but Mrs. Jung was fast.
"I'll go" She said, going to open the door. "Breakfast is ready" Nodding, I walked to the kitchen but Mrs. Jung's loud voice stopped me in my tracks.
"Why are you here?" She boomed. "Are you not ashamed to come back here?"
A shiver ran through my whole body, as I walked towards the front door. The person standing in front of me was the least expected one.
Park Chaeyoung
"Where is my phone?" Mrs. Jung said, searching for her phone. "I should call Mrs. Park now itself"
Chaeyoung walked past Mrs. Jung, straight to our bedroom and I trailed behind her like a lost puppy. "We can take some time to talk.." I mumbled, as Chaeyoung put her belongings to a suitcase. "...instead of taking a sudden decision"
...
She didn't even took a glance at me and I sighed, clearly understanding. "Chaeyoung" I whispered, my voice came as a whisper. But she took no notice. So I grabbed her hand, stopping her from zipping up the suitcase. "Chaeyoung"
Shrugging it off, she zipped up to suitcase, storming outside the bedroom. "Did she left?" Mrs. Jung asked, as I walked to the living room alone. "Thank God"
I bit my lips, regret and sadness filling me. "What is she doing now?" Mrs. Jung exclaimed, glancing towards the small room at the corner. "Are you not packing and leaving?"
I followed her line of sight to see Chaeyoung, pushing open the door to the room. A small smile played on my lips as I approached her. "I'm shifting to this room" She spoke. "We'd lived like roommates anyway. I won't interfere in your matters and you don't interfere in mine" She demanded, emotionless.
"Aren't you ashamed?" I sighed, seeing that Mrs. Jung was not going to leave her alone. "Even after all this, living here with Jiminie"
"One more thing" Chaeyoung said, her fingers pointing on me. "Either it's me or this woman here"
"How dare you?" Mrs. Jung exclaimed. "Did you hear that Jiminie?"
Unable to hold it anymore, I broke into a stupid grin. As I stared at Chaeyoung unpacking her things, I frowned wondering why was I feeling like this over one silly thing.
Shrugging it off, I turned to Mrs. Jung who was mumbling incoherent words under her breath. Placing my hands on Mrs. Jung's shoulder, I forced her to walk with me.
"Mrs. Jung, don't you think it's time for you to take some rest?"

AUTHOR'S POV
With a heavy heart, Chaeyoung finally deposited the money for starting her new class in business school in Seoul. It had been always her dream to start her own business. But after the marriage, she couldn't have done that until now.
☮︎
The relationship between Chaeyoung and Jimin were now completely roommates. Jimin was obviously happy when she came back to stay with him but he hadn't expected her silent treatment.
It was fucking torturous and he hated it to the core.
But he knew that he deserved it.
Jimin was trying very hard to make up to her. He made her breakfast daily before going to work and she would take a bite of it and leave.
Another day, he brought her a brand new phone to compensate for that one time where he threw her phone away.
But the problem between them was the lack of communication and both didn't try to change that!

Taking a seat at the end of the library she was currently in, Chaeyoung fished out her little yellow notebook. Turning the pages, she took her to-do list. Roaming her eyes through the list, a deep sigh left her lips as her eyes stopped at the last one.

CY'S POV
"Are you sure?" Taehyung asked me, as he dropped me in front of her house. Seulgi's house to be exact. Giving him a slight nod and a weak smile, I walked towards the house, stopping in front of the wooden door.
Pressing the doorbell, I waited patiently for someone to open the door. "Brownie, go" I heard someone spoke, followed by a bark, before opening the door.
"Mrs. Kang?" I asked, seeing a woman of my mother's age. She was very beautiful and had a lovely face. "Yes" She replied, obviously confused with my sudden appearance. Taking a deep breath, I repeated the purpose of my visit in my mind before breathing out the words.
"I'm Seulgi's friend"

"Brownie" I cooed seeing the dog running to me as soon as the door was opened. A giggle left my lips as he licked my face. "Hello dear" Aunt Kang greeted me, as she gave me a motherly hug. "Hi Aunt Kang, Merry Christmas"
"Merry Christmas to you too" She chuckled, before closing the door after me. Walking to the familiar living room, decorated with Christmas tree and lights, my lips curved into a big smile.
It soon grew even bigger when my eyes landed on the figure sitting on the couch. "Hi Uncle Kang" I greeted, giving him a hug which he returned. "Merry Christmas"
"Merry Christmas dear" He spoke, taking my little gift from my hand. "How are you lovely one?"
"I'm good" I giggled, before taking a seat on the couch beside him. "Close your eyes dear" Uncle Kang said, as he leaned to place his hands over my eyes.
"What is it?" I asked, curiosity lacing my voice. After a little bit of shuffling, he asked me to open my eyes. Soon I found myself getting teary eyed seeing Aunt Kang had prepared a special chocolate cake for me. "Thank you" I breathed out, engulfing both in a hug.
"Aigoo" Uncle Kang uttered. "Why are you crying over this silly?" Laughing a little at his comment, I found myself getting even more emotional.
I can't lie to them anymore...

TH'S POV
Fiddling with the sunglasses in my hand, I waited for Chaeyoung to come down from her apartment. Since she used to go to college in a bicycle, I offered to drop her off. Jennie was busy so I didn't had anything to do till then.
"Shall we go?" Chaeng came running to me, with many books in her hand. Nodding, I was about to start the bike when Jimin walked past us, glancing at us.
Our last encounter was anything but nice. But I frowned when a thought crossed my mind.
"Wait" I said to Chaeng, who was about to mount on the bike. "I've got a job to do"
"Didn't you tell you will drop me off?" She grumbled before walking away, annoyed with me. Parking the bike, I walked to their apartment. Ringing the doorbell, I waited for Jimin to come and open the door.
"Can I come in?" I asked as he opened the door, his face showed surprise.
I know I'm the least expected person to be. Sorry not sorry...
"I don't know if Chaeyoung had told you.." I started to ease the awkward silent atmosphere surrounding us. And his poker face was not helping much. "..I'm in the motocross training now. Coach Kim Seokjin is training me"
He made eye contact with me for the first time since I came here. "Storm riders.." I continued. "Jung Hoseok is the sponsor. They still talk about old times. Races, trophies,Christian..." I trailed off. "...Seulgi"
His head dropped down even more after that name left my lips. Chewing on my lips, I waited for him to break the silence. "Does Chaeyoung know?"
I was surprised to hear how he sounded. He felt so vulnerable and broken. Clearing my throat, I gave him a quick nod in reply. But my surprised face was soon reformed into an exact Pikachu shocked face when I saw him wiping the tears away.
I was internally screaming wondering if this is the same Park Jimin I've known. But seeing him like this, I'd a sudden urge to hug him and tell him that everything will be okay. Blaming my thoughts on the lack of sleep due to intense training I shrugged the new feeling.
Sniffing, Jimin stood up without a word and turned around on his heels to walk away. "She came back on knowing everything"
I'd to say that because he didn't know how lucky he was to get my Chaeng as his wife even though he didn't deserve her.
...
"I'm leaving" I spoke, getting up from the seat, walking towards the door. "Taehyung" Jimin called me. "Thank you"
A small smile carved onto my lips, mirroring his'. Even though he was smiling brightly at me, I was completely blaming it on my lack of sleep.
Yep, hallucination at its finest!
Clearing my throat, I spoke about what actually brought me here. "The race is on 25th. Do come if possible. Everyone will be there"
Jimin nodded softly followed by a smile to which I responded with my own boxy one. As I rode back to the training grounds, the only thought crossing my mind was making me smile nonstop.
It's time to be happy again!
