"𝐒𝐎 𝐘𝐎𝐔'𝐕𝐄 𝐁𝐄𝐄𝐍 𝐒𝐏𝐘𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐎𝐍 𝐔𝐒 𝐀𝐋𝐋 𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐒𝐄 𝐘𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐒?" asked tom.

donut lord had just explained to you that his name was in fact tom, and not what you and sonic had been calling him for the past days.

he had also gave you some rules, like listening to whatever he would say.

you had nodded pretending to agree with him while in your mind you were only laughing about how stupid he was to think that one of you would've ever even think about listening to him.

"wait" you stopped the man from saying anything else as you pushed an arm in front of sonic's face to make yourself noticed, your hand open "i wasn't even here 'till a couple of days ago, so the only stalker here is him" you pointed with your thumb at the hedgehog on your side.

his face held a betrayed expression, again, as he listened to what you were saying, realising what you were implying.

"i mean, i wouldn't call it 'spying' nor 'stalking'. we were all just hanging out, only i wasn't invited and no one knew i was there." explained the powered mobian with a smile, thinking that he had made all the accusations drop.

"that's literally the definition on those words" you commented blankly, only to be ignored.

"i can't believe crazy carl was right all this time!" chuckled to himself tom, thankfully as the conversation kept on going he kept his eyes on the road, saving you from any accident.

"yeah, you should call him super observant carl instead." sonic smirked looking into the human's eyes.

"wait, who's 'crazy carl'?" you questioned to the two males on your side, sonic was happy to respond and he hurried on giving you an answer.

"just the only man that ever saw me, and i think that he also saw you" he added the last part looking down, an hand on his chin as he thought about that little interaction.

"what? how does he look like?" you asked confused.

"just a normal old man" sonic's response didn't helped much but then donut lord added a detail that made you connect the dots.

"i also noticed a lump on his forehead those last days" the comment tom made was probably more for himself as he had talked with a low tone but you heard it anyway.

your eyes widened a little and sonic knew that you had understand something, he always knew.

"i actually threw a rock at his head" you confessed tilting your head as you tried to remember.

"what?!" the mobian and the human's voice were in sync and you were surprised by their high pitched tone.

"he saw me, you should thank me that he's still alive" your response reached sonic's and tom's ear and just as the man was about to open his mouth (probably to lecture you) sonic's body was against yours as the blue hedgehog looked out the window screaming something incoherent.

"oh, my god, stop the car right now!" he shouted and you pushed him away from your face picking some fur from your tongue.

he almost feel from the seat but he remained still as he looked outZ

"what, what?! what?" shouted back tom.

"'the world's largest rubber band ball'? we gotta see it!" he looked really happy about that idea and you had to resist the urge to push donut lord away and stop the car just for him.

"no,no,no this is not some fun family road trip, okay?the government wants to dissect the both of you and arrest me. this is serious." you appreciated tom's need of focus but you knew that sonic wasn't gonna listen.

the hedgehog gave the human a smirk and you copied his action waiting to see what he was gonna do.

he jumped out of the window and he came back second later, he was full of merch and he gave you a heart shaped brooch with a little writing on it.

you moved it nearer to your face trying to read what was on it.

'i love the world's largest r̶u̶b̶b̶e̶r̶ b̶a̶n̶d̶ dumbass in the world' you looked at it confused before looking at sonic.

his eyes were on tom as he commented about how the man was right and it had been in fact lame to see that enormous thing.

you tried to decipher the meaning of his little present but you came to the conclusion that you actually shouldn't find a meaning behind a present.

mostly because he had brought donut lord a mouse pad too.

so if sonic had been kind enough to get you something you may as well keep it.

you closed your fist around it and you looked out the window, the voices of the other two just a background sound.

"when are we gonna get there?" asked sonic as he played with a paddle ball, tom noticed how the hedgehog eyes moved on you hoping to see you admiring his skills with the little game.

but you were looking in the opposite direction, the green fields in front of you.

sonic expression changed for a moment and donut lord knew that it was his moment to talk, even if with a slightly exasperate tone.

"we will get there when we get there!"
