BACKSTORY

Namor P.O.V 

I remember the day I saw her.
After a long day of duties to deal in Talokan I decided to go up the surface to relax.

Then I saw her approach.

She was swimming by the ocean, looking radiant and beautiful.
She was the most gorgeous woman I've ever laid eyes on.

I was swimming nearby her.
I decided to get closer to her.

I swam next to her and she noticed me and screamed. She jumped out of the water frightened.

She ran back to the beach trying to hide. I stood in the water trying to see if she could come back.

I didn't want to give up so easily, so I flew up in the sky with my wings to see where she was running.

I saw her run back to a large village. Actually not just a village. It was the Aztec Empire. The Empire and my people were always in war. We were big rivals.

But I saw her go inside the large place of the main City. The guards let her in without even harming her. She went to hug my main enemy, the Aztec Emperor.

Then I understood who she was now.

She was the Y/n, The Aztec Princess. The Only Daughter of the Emperor.

I clenched my fists tightly, I wanted her so much, even if she was considered the daughter my enemy, I still want her.

I spend days seated in the sand by the shore of the ocean hoping for her to come.

My prayers were answered as she came down the beach one afternoon.
She was dressed in her aztec dress which made her look beautiful.

She approached next to the waters, then she noticed me and came up to me. She didn't seem very frighten as before.

She smiled sweetly to me. Her eyes penetrated mine. I could get lost staring at her beautiful eyes. I could never forget her eyes. Her sweet smile.

She introduce herself to me.

"Y/n" she pointed to herself.

"Namor" I pointed to myself.

She smiled saying my name. "Namor"

And so every single day, after I finish my duties at my kingdom, I will always go back to the beach to meet Y/n. She always waited for me.

We got to know more of one another. We taught each other our languages and traditions.

I showed her the ocean waters. But since knowing she was a mortal with difficulty to breath I couldn't show her Talokan so I showed her all the sea creatures. The only way she can be in Talokan was for me to claim her as my wife.

Y/n showed me the forest where she lived. She taught me all the plants and animals that lived in the forest. She even had her pet, a baby jaguar named Miztli. The Jaguar became very fond to me and Y/n.

We had lots of fun together, we did lots of activities together. It was a pain in my heart seeing her leave. Back in Talokan, I felt more lonely than ever, sure I had Namora and Attuma to keep me company, but only Y/n fill the emptiness of my heart.

She even knew how to fight, being trained to protect herself from any danger. I was impressed by her strength that captivated my heart.

By each day that we spend together, the more I realized how much I was falling in love with her.

I confessed my feelings to her. I told her how much I wanted her to be my queen back at my kingdom. I loved her more than anything.

Y/n confessed she loved me, but she was scared to go against her father by running away with the enemy.
She broke the news that her father was arranging her to marry someone else.

I was filled with anger and sadness. The thought of losing Y/n made my blood boil.

Y/n said she didn't want our kingdoms to have a war.

So I proposed to her to come with me once again. She had tears in her eyes, knowing she had to leave her people and that her father will never forgive her.

But she accepted.

I gave her my mother's bracelet, she cherished it so much she said she never wanted to take it off.

We decided to get married in secret without letting her father know. Then we could start our new lives back in Talokan. She became my queen.

I took Y/n to Talokan, she was adored and loved by my people. Known as the Queen of Talokan.

I was the most happiest man alive having Y/n by my side.

But then there was an attack sent from the Aztec Empire.

I was fuming with rage. I sent my troops to attack the Empire.

Y/n was very upset over this, she kept crying over the war between Talokan and the Aztecs.

I did my best to comfort her but she had her heart broken.

Then the Emperor of the Aztecs challenged me to a duel.
That if I lose, Talokan Kingdom will be conquered and Y/n be sent back to the Empire.

But if I win, Y/n and Talokan will be free in peace.

I accepted without hesitation. For Y/n and for Talokan.

The Emperor and I fought in the large stadium of the Aztecs.
I used all my strength and power to defeat him. But my mind was focused on Y/n worried for her safety.

But before I knew it, it was all a trap. Aztec warriors charged over Y/n to kill her. Talokan and Aztecs were fighting with one another. A whole massacre was occurring.

I killed the Emperor out of rage, and stormed after the warriors attacking Y/n.

I attacked and killed all of the warriors in my way to get to Y/n.

I reached for her and held her in my arms tightly.
But she felt cold. She had her eyes closed. Her pulse stopped.

She was stabbed by one of the warriors. Her blood soaked all around her body.

I cried in agony holding the woman that meant everything to me.
I burn the Aztec empire to the ground out of anger and rage.

Since that day, my heart was shattered. I was left alone ruling Talokan without my Queen.

Back to Present

You were left speechless after hearing Namor's story.
You felt sympathy for him.

Namor dipped his head down letting tears roll down his cheeks.

"Namor, I'm so sorry that happened to you and your wife," You said putting a hand on his shoulder.

Namor looked up to meet your gaze.

"You... You are her," Namor said cupping your cheek with his hand.

You couldn't take your eyes off of him. He lean in closer to hovered your lips.

You lean in closer and Namor presses his lips to yours.

The kiss was soft and slow.

You pull back and look back into his bright eyes that wanted love once again.

You and Namor kissed once again.

The kisses begin slow then more intense and passionate. You ran your hands on Namor's strong firm arms. Namor wrapped his hands on your waist position you on his lap. 

You pulled back to see Namor's expression, he smiled and rested his forehead to yours.

"You're my queen, you're my Y/n" he said. 

By hearing his words your mind started to spin, memories of the past came back to you. Meeting Namor, spending time with him, being his queen, the love he felt for you.

"Namor!! My love!!! I remember!! I remember everything!!!" You exclaim hugging Namor tightly letting emotional tears spill your eyes.  Namor wrapped his arms around you.

"My love, I just knew it was you since I encounter you after such a long time, but you and I will never be apart from each other, NEVER AGAIN," Namor said holding you tightly in his arms.

You pulled back to kiss him passionately. 

"I love you, Namor"

"I love you more, Y/n, I love you more than anything" 

And so you return to become the Queen of Talokan with Namor. You and Namor promise to never leave each other again.
