☪︎┇ AMBROSIA'S LAST MONTH WAS VERY PLEASANT. She was able to pass many time with her animls, Scarlette and Hedwig who behave very well. She couldn't wish for a better animals except perhaps a snake which she had found in the forest behind the mansion of her uncle.
Daemon coughs, his eyes widens with betrayal. "Betrayed, my stepdaughter have betrayed me!"
"Do not be dramatic, uncle." Rhaenyra rolls her eyes playfully.
Snake were not too bad to her, unless it was a person with it personality and big ego─which she will meet sooner than later─the animal were quiet and very smart. She was surprised when one had blinked at her like it was a normal thing.
"Such nonsense! Since when does an animal such as snake can blink eyes?" Oto states, he was right after all, the bastard is such a stupid girl!
"Exactly, I mean how could a snake usurps something? It sound ridiculous doesn't?" Many would have thought that Daemon was the one to open his kissable mouth but Lucerys was the one glaring with hatred at the Green Faction.
"You-!" Alicent grits her teeth. "Do not be insolent you brat!" She told the young Velaryon.
"Why get defensive then, Alicent?" Rhaenyra scoffs, her hands twirling between her silver lock.
Alicent flinches and lower her eyes, she couldn't even look at Rhaenyra. It was a pathetic sight for Rhaenyra.
For her currently pets, she had decided to call her owl, Hedwig, a name she had found in A History of Magic. Her school books were very interesting.
She lay on her bed reading late into the night, Hedwig swooping in and out of the open window as she pleased while she had named her her fox Scarlette because red was her furrs and Ambrosia loves red.
"Red have always suit her, black too but red was always her favorite." Joffrey smiles, he misses his sister so much.
"Just like you, my Queen." Daemon looks at Rhaenyra, his eyes fills with love and regrets. He wish he was the one who had die. At least, his wife-niece wouldn't have feel like this.
Ambrosia woke at five o'clock the next morning and was too excited and
nervous to go back to sleep. She got up and pulled on her floral dress because She didn't want to walk into the station in her witch robes─she'd change on the train.
"Train?"
"A way of travelling."
"Okay."
She checked her Hogwarts list yet again to make sure she had everything she needed, saw that Hedwig was shut safely in her cage, and then paced the room, waiting for her aunt to get up.
She went to take her breakfast. Her eyes shining brightly as she was served by their loyal maid who was a sweet woman in her 30s. She was even more happy when she looked at the pancakes covered in chocolate and strawberries.
"Lemon cake." Rhaenyra whispers with a sulking expression on her face.
Vhagar, the Goddess chuckles and snap her finger. And quick enough a plate with a lemon cake were on Rhaenyra's lap.
The Queen eats joyfully.
Two hours later after she breaked her fast, Her aunt had woke up with her uncle and both had their breakfast before dressing up to apparate at the King's Cross at half past ten.
Ambrosia frowned, she looked around and have not see any platform nine and three-quarters. Nicholas chuckled and pointed at group of people passed just behind him and they caught a few words of what they were saying.
"Packed with Muggles, of course─"
"Are we muggles then?" Rhaena, Baela's twin asks with mind full of curiousity.
"I supose."
Ambrosia swung round. The speaker was a plump woman who was talking
to four boys, all with flaming red hair. Each of them was pushing a trunk like Ambrosia's in front of her and they had an owl.
"The Weasley." Ambrosia heard her aunt whispered yet she didn't asked.
"So many red head." Daeron whispers.
"Grandson, I am surrounded by silver white hair dragons." Otto thinks bitterly.
Nicholas pushed Ambrosia's cart after them. They stopped and so did the De Luca. "Now, what's the platform number?" said the boys' mother.
"Nine and three-quarters!" piped a small girl, also red-headed, who was holding her hand, "Mom, can't I go... " "You're not old enough, Ginny, now be quiet. All right, Percy, you go first." What looked like the oldest boy marched toward platforms nine and ten.
Ambrosia watched, careful not to blink in case she missed it but just as the boy reached the dividing barrier between the two platforms, a large crowd of tourists came swarming in front of him and by the time the last backpack had cleared away, the boy had vanished.
"Wanna! Wanna!" Jahaerys smiles as bright as the sun, his hands clapping while he bounces happily. Helaena giggles to herself.
"Fred, you next," the plump woman said.
"I'm not Fred, I'm George," said the boy. "Honestly, woman, you call yourself our mother? Can you tell I'm George?"
"Sorry, George, dear." "Only joking, I am Fred," said the boy, and off he went. His twin called after him to hurry up.
Baela and Rhaena giggles while looking
at each other. Mischievous ideas starts behinds to form in their head.
Daemon couldn't help but shivers.
He looks around him and sighs in confusion. "Why do I feel someone
will make me go crazy except for
Rhaenyra?"
While the true Targaryen were teasing each other, a bitter half-blood was gritting his teeth.
"I should be the one with those power, those idiots doesn't even deserve it like
I do!" The one-eyed- Prince thinks to himself.
Ambrosia giggled lowly. "Hello!" She said softly to the red head woman.
"Hello, dear," she said. "First time at Hogwarts? Ron's new, too." She pointed at the last and youngest of her sons. He was tall, thin, and gangling, with freckles, big hands and feet, and a long nose.
"Petunia?" The red hair woman looked at Ambrosia's aunt. "Hello, Molly." Petunia smiled and looked at her.
Both women smiled at each other while Nicholas thought of himself as the third-wheel.
Daemon nods, he had felt the same whenever Rhaenyra and Laena was together.
Petunia then kissed Ambrosia's cheek. "All you have to do is walk straight at the barrier between platforms nine and ten. Don't stop and don't be scared you'll crash into it, that's very important. Best do it at a bit of a run if you're nervous!"
"We will be behind you." Nicholas smirked at his niece who giggled.
"He is a bit like you, fat- Daemon." Lucerys says a bit confidently.
"You can call me father, brat." Daemon ruffles his hair almost lovingly.
She pushed his trolley around and stared at the barrier. It looked very solid. She started to walk toward it. People jostled her on their way to
platforms nine and ten. Ambrosia walked more quickly.
She was going to smash right into that barrier and then she'd be in trouble- leaning forward on her cart, she broke into a heavy run─the barrier was coming nearer and nearer─she wouldn't be able to stop─the cart was out of control─she was a foot away, she closed her eyes. She kept on running she opened her eyes.
A scarlet steam engine was waiting next to a platform packed with people. A sign overhead said Hogwarts Express, eleven O'clock. Ambrosia looked behind her and saw a wrought-iron archway where the barrier had been, with the words Platform Nine and Three-Quarters on it, she had done it.
"Yes!"
"So cool!"
Smoke from the engine drifted over the heads of the chattering crowd, while cats of every color wound here and there between their legs. Owls hooted to one another in a disgruntled sort of way over the babble and the scraping of heavy trunks.
The first few carriages were already packed with students, some hanging out of the window to talk to their families, some fighting over seats.
"Ambrosia!" Her aunt hugged her. "My darling was so courageous!" She praised her. "I know right?" Her uncle grinned with his hair covering his right eye which was shining.
Rhaenyra loves how the woman would praise her daughter at every things she does. Rhaenyra always had done the same.
"When will I see you two again?" Ambrosia asked, her voice trembling with worriedness. "Aww, you don't have to worry about that! We will see each other soon enough. You don't have to worry." Petunia cupped her cheeks.
"No trouble."
"No promise."
"That's something my sweet daughter would say!" Viserys roar of laugher.
Rhaenyra smiles slightly, even if she couldn't forgive her father, she was happy that he was getting healthy, something that the Green are not liking.
Ambrosia nodded slowly before hugging her aunt then her uncle. "Don't cause trouble uncle!" She told him.
"No promise just like you said."
she grinned then she pressed on through the crowd until she found an empty compartment near the end of the train. She put Hedwig and Scarlette inside first and then started to shove and heave her trunk toward the train door.
"Need help?" She looked up and saw a boy, taller than her. He had the most beautiful eyes she had ever seen. It
was blue or green? Seagreen eyes.
Corlys nods slowly, he was also surprise by the boy's eyes. It was like a jewel in the sea.
"Yes, actually." She replied softly, watching the boy easily pushing
her trunk in a corner of the compar
tement. "Thank you." She added while staring at the boy with a sense of curiousity.
"Don't thanks me, I was taught to
always help a weak lady in distress."
His sentence irrirate Ambrosia. "I am
not weak." She told him. "You ᴄouldn't lift up a trunk." He pointed out.
"Hmfp! I do not like him anymore." Baela pouts watching Jacaera getting worked up by the cute boy with ethereal eyes.
"I am starting to think that you are a jerk." She told him, her arms crossed.
"I really don't care about what you think, girly." He mused, his lips curled in a smirked. "Hope to not see you again, weak little fox." He whispered before walking away.
Rhaenyra raise a brow, 'that was something that Daemon would tell her when she was very little to taunt her.' she thinks to herself.
"Who does that brat think he is." Ambrosia whispered while glaring daggerly at the guy's back. With a sulking pout, she sat down next to the window where, half hidden, he could watch the red-haired family on the platform and hear what they were saying.
She could hear the one of the oldest─Percy─saying that he was a prefect and their mother buying him
a new robe because he was one.
"It's like, he get my attention because he is the 'heir to the throne' right Otto?" Daemon taunts mercilessly.
Otto grits his teeth, he had no back up except his foolish daughter who was no longer Queen consort.
The train began to move. Ambrosia saw the boys' mother waving and their sister, half laughing, half crying, running to keep up with the train until it gathered too much speed, then she fell back and waved. Ambrosia watched the girl and her mother disappear as the train rounded the corner.
Houses flashed past the window. She was going to miss her family. The door of the compartment slid open and the youngest redheaded boy came in.
"Anyone sitting there?" he asked, pointing at the seat opposite Ambrosia. "Everywhere else is full." She shook her head and the boy sat down. He glanced
at Ambrosia and then looked quickly
out of the window, pretending he hadn't looked. Ambrosia saw he still had a black mark on his nose.
"Is it?" Corly asks.
"No." Vhagar replies coldly.
"Hey, Ron." The twins were back.
"Listen, we're going down the middle
of the train -- Lee Jordan's got a giant tarantula down there." "Right," mumbled Ron.
"Hey?" said the other twin, "did we introduce ourselves? Fred and George Weasley. And this is Ron, our brother. See you later, then." Ambrosia chuckles.
"I am Ambrosia Potter." She introduced herself in a soft tone. "Are you really the Ambrosia Potter?" Ron blurted out.
"What so special about her?" Aegon didn't hesitate to ask outloud.
"AEGON!" Viserys's voice rings in the hall.
"It's a good question, my Prince." Ser Criston Cole says, backing Aegon up.
"Oh, shut up, Crispin." Daemon grins.
"I don't have a clone or a twin sister as far as I know." Ambrosia jokes. He pointed at her forehead. She pulled back her bangs to show the lightning scar. Ron stared. "So that's where You-Know-Who."
"What type of name is you-know-who?" Rhaenys who Daemon had shut up earlier, asks curiously.
"Yes," said Ambrosia, "but I can't remember it." "Nothing?" said Ron eagerly. "Well -- I remember a lot of green light, but nothing else." "Wow," said Ron.
He sat and stared at Ambrosia for a
few moments, then, as though he had suddenly realized what he was doing, he looked quickly out of the window again.
Aemond growls, Jacaera was his, reincarnate or not. She is to be his!
"Are all your family wizards?" asked Ambrosia, who found Ron just as interesting as Ron found her. "Er, Yes, I think so," said Ron. "I think Mom's got a second cousin who's an accountant, but we never talk about him." "So you must know loads of magic already."
The Weasleys were clearly one of those old wizarding families the pale boy in Diagon Alley had talked about. "I heard you went to live with Muggles," said Ron. "What are they like?"
"Amazing! My aunt is very nice and my uncle is very strong and funny." She replies with a dreamy smiles that would beat a sweet blonde girl.
Jaehaera smiles, "Jacie!" She giggles brightly.
The Black and Green Faction looks at the silver-hair little hair with confusion except for Rhaenyra and Lucerys who knew that Jacaera had love spending time with her cousins.
"You have three brothers?" She asked him. "Five," said Ron. For some reason, he was looking gloomy.
"I'm the sixth in our family to go to Hogwarts. You could say I've got a lot to live up to. Bill and Charlie have already left─Bill was head boy and Charlie was captain of Quidditch. Now Percy's a prefect. Fred and George mess around a lot, but they still get really good marks and everyone thinks they're really
funny." He sighed.
"Everyone expects me to do as well as the others, but if I do, it's no big deal, because they did it first. You never get anything new, either, with five brothers. I've got Bill's old robes, Charlie's old wand, and Percy's old rat."
Daeron bite his lower lip harshly. The red head boy just explained his whole life. Daeron was just a spare, the forgotten son.
Ron reached inside his jacket and pulled out a fat gray rat, which was asleep. "His name's Scabbers and he's useless, he hardly ever wakes up. Percy got an owl from my dad for being made a prefect, but they couldn't aff─I mean, I got Scabbers instead."
Ron's ears went pink. He seemed to think he'd said too much, because he went back to staring out of the window.
Lucerys presses his lips together. 'So he is poor and think that it's embarassing?'
Ambrosia didn't think there was anything wrong with not being able to
afford an owl. After all, she'd never had any money in her life until a few years ago.
Rhaenyra froze on her chair at that. What did that mean? Did someone hurt her poor sweet girl? They will have their heads cut off!
While they had been talking, the train had carried them out of London. Now they were speeding past fields full of cows and sheep. They were quiet for a time, watching the fields and lanes flick past. Around half past twelve there was a great clattering outside in the corridor and a smiling, dimpled woman slid back their door and said, "Anything off the cart, dears?"
Ron's ears went pink again and
he muttered that he'd brought sandwiches. Ambrosia went out
into the corridor.
What she did have were Bettie Bott's Every Flavor Beans, Drooble's Best Blowing Gum, Chocolate Frogs. Pumpkin Pasties, Cauldron Cakes, Licorice Wands, and a number of other strange things Ambrosia had never seen in her life.
"So we do not have those too right? It's only in her new life?" Baela mutters, with a pout.
Not wanting to miss anything, she got some of everything and paid the woman eleven silver Sickles and seven bronze Knuts. "Go on," Ambrosia pushed some on Ron's lap. She could see that he was hungry.
"She is always so selfless!" Joffrey frowns, he missed her so much that it starting to hurt.
"What are these?" Ambrosia asked Ron, holding up a pack of Chocolate Frogs. "They're not really frogs, are they?" She was starting to feel that nothing would surprise her
Corly and Viserys starts laughing.
"No," said Ron. "But see what the card is. I'm missing Agrippa." "What?" "Oh, of course, you wouldn't know Chocolate Frogs have cards, inside them, you know, to collect famous witches and wizards. I've got about five hundred, but I haven't got Agrippa or Ptolemy."
Ambrosia unwrapped her Chocolate Frog and picked up the card. It showed a man's face. He wore half- moon glasses, had a long, crooked nose, and flowing silver hair, beard, and mustache. Underneath the picture was the name Albus Dumbledore.
"That's the same man that the Goddess name Hecate warned us about!"
"He look like Otto."
"So this is Dumbledore?" Asked Ambrosia. "Don't tell me you'd never heard of Dumbledore!" said Ron.
ALBUS DUMBLEDORE
CURRENTLY HEADMASTER OF HOGWARTS:
Considered by many the greatest wizard of modern times, Dumbledore is particularly famous for his defeat of the dark wizard Grindelwald in 1945, for the discovery of the twelve uses of dragon's blood, and his work on alchemy with his partner, Nicolas Flamel. Professor Dumbledore enjoys chamber music and tenpin bowling.
"Those name are so weird." Rhaena mumbles softly.
Ambrosia rolled her eyes and ate another chocolate frog. She wanted
it to be Morgana not some old man.
Maybe another time, still she was annoyed by the earlier jerk─guy.
"Sweeth tooth just like her mother." Daemon comments playfully.
