𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐄𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓: 𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐆𝐘, 𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐂𝐓, 𝐋𝐎𝐆𝐈𝐂, 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐁𝐔𝐓𝐓 𝐋𝐎𝐀𝐃𝐒 𝐎𝐅 𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐓

"WHAT'S HAPPENING OUT there, Donnie?" Leo asked as he ran to his brother

"Oh, my gosh. Shredder did it. The portal's opening." Donnie explains

The others come down to Donnie's lab

"Amazing. This alien warship is coming through piece by piece. Hacking into the main data core. Okay. Ship's designate is the Technodome. Commanding Officer goes by the name of Krang."

"I don't know that guy, but I hate that guy!" Mikey says

"If Krang were to finish building this thing, it wouldn't just be a ship. It would be a war machine that would end all life here. It would be the end of the world. But there is something we can do. The atmosphere around the Technodome would be toxic to anyone with a standard cardiovascular system." Donnie explains as he turns to his brothers

"What are you saying?" Leo questioned

"We may be the only ones who can survive around that portal, the only ones who can get close enough to this Technodome to shut it down."

"But how? We're being hunted. They think we're monsters." Mikey says sadly

"Yeah, we're going to need the cops at our backs. They're trying to lock us up." Raph adds

"Unless..." Donnie says

He goes and grabs the ooze from his desk

"One sip, and we'll stay the same on the inside, but look like humans on the outside." Donnie says and then hands the ooze to Leo

"Your boyhood is drawing to an end. You are becoming young men. The choice is yours." Splinter says walking towards his sons

"I'll do whatever you guys say. It's your call." Leo says shaking his head.

Raph takes the ooze from Leo; he plays around with it for a minute before throwing it at the wall.

Leo smiles at his younger brother, while the rest look in shock.

"You're sure they're coming?" Vincent asked

"They're coming." April says

Suddenly the sewer lid opens up, and Leo is the first to appear. Kylie holds in her breath, making eye contact with Leo as he jumps to the surface. Leo could see the slight shake in Kylie's stance, and he knew she was expecting the worst.

"Hold your fire."

Once the boys are completely out of the sewers and standing on the ground. Vincent begins speaking

"What are you?"

"We're not really into labels." Mikey says

"Some call us freaks. Monsters." Leo continues

"Let's just say we're four brothers from New York who hate bullies and love this city." Raph carries on

"And right now, we're the city's best hope." Donnie finishes

"Why should I believe you?"

"You don't have to take it from us. Take it from him." Leo says pointing to Vern

"Go ahead, Vern. Tell her about the arrangement." April says

Kylie and Leo maintain eye contact, and he gives her a soft smile; letting her know it would be okay.

"What arrangement?"

Raph cracks his knuckles and Vern gulps

"Oh, that... Arrangement. Look, The Falcon is still The Falcon. I just may have gotten by with a little help from my friends. These four are the ones who took Shredder down the first time. I was kind of more of a wingman." Vern says, the police looked to him shocked

"We've been doing our part to protect this city from the shadows." Leo says turning to his brothers

"And we think we have something to offer." Raph says

"We're going to need... Strategy."

"Instinct." Leo says

"Logic." Mikey says

"And boatloads of heart." Donnie says, they all put the hands together and cheer off.

"Load up!"

"April, Casey, Vern, and Kylie need an escort to Pier 90. The electromagnetic force of the portal is coming from there. Forwarding you the coordinates."

"Send a team! Take us to the Chrysler Building. We'll make our way up to his ship and take down Krang on his home turf." Leo commands

The turtles turn to get into the NYPD station truck, and everyone else moves forward; but Kylie stops and turns.

"Leo wait!"

He turns and looks at her, thinking something is wrong. He's caught by surprise when she wraps her arms around him; pulling him into a tight hug.

"Be safe, please. I'd hate to loose my new best friend right after I got him."

Leo chuckles and gives her hands a squeeze.

"I'll be safe. And the safe goes for you."

Kylie giggles, before looking deep into his eyes.

"I can't promise anything, but I'll try."

"You better do better than try. I want you back here with me when this thing is over." Leo tells her seriously

"Aye, aye Captain." Kylie says with a salute

"Go send that space ship back to where ever the hell it came from."

Leo nods, and Kylie smiles before taking off towards her brother's car. As she approaches, she notices the passenger seat vacant.

Kylie crouches down, where she is met with her brother; who is sitting in the driver seat.

"Well get in! We gotta go!"

Kylie quickly gets in and Casey sees the confusion written on her face.

"We started this together and we'll finish it together."

Kylie smiles at him as she finishes buckling up.

Casey grabbed her hand and squeezed it, and Kylie turned back and saw both April and Vern behind her. She smiled at them before turning forward as Casey pulled out.

The trucks pull out and hit the highway. Once on the free state, Casey cars follows the other cop cars going the opposite way of the turtles

"All right, they're splitting up. Wait, we aren't going with the turtles? Why aren't we going with the turtles? When something bad happens, you want to be with the turtles!" Vern screams

Kylie rolls her eyes, but her grip on Casey's hand tightened. Casey rubbed her palm gentle as he felt the small fleck of sweat begin to flood her palm. She turned to look at him, her eyes holding the worry and fear she was feeling.

Casey gave her a reassuring look, one that he had given her a million times before. Kylie squeezed his hand one last time before turning back ahead.

The cars turn into the foothold of the garage, where the portal was, suddenly a bunch of yellow metal stoppers appear in front of the entree way.

"Casey!" Kylie yells as Casey speeds up

"Hold on! I'm going in." Casey yells

Casey lets go of Kylie's hand, placing both on the wheel as he speeds up. The on duty cop cars run straight into the stoppers. They almost make it clean, when one shot up from the ground, sending the tailed of the car flying up into ceiling

"Casey! Casey!" Kylie screamed

The car drops and after a few seconds, Kylie snaps out of her shock. She looks over to her brother who nods at her. The four of them exit the car once inside and run into the lower garage, they stand they for a second, when Casey begins to speak

"Do you hear that? It sounds strange." He speaks

"Like "alien spacecraft in the sky" strange?" Vern asked

The sound of a motorcycle grew nearer, and Casey motioned for them to hide behind the toolboxes bear them

"No. That kind of strange." Casey whispers as he looks up of the toolbox

Kylie eyes widen when she sees Bebop and Rocksteady, standing guard. She looks at Casey, already knowing what he was thinking.

"We've got to keep our eyes out for intruders." Bebop says

"Well, what do intruders look like?" Rocksteady asked

"Anybody that's not a big pig or a big rhino." Bebop said

"Oh" Rocksteady says

"Oh, boy. Listen. You guys secure the portal device. I'll deal with those two." Casey says

"Secure the portal device"? What does that even mean?" Vern asked

"It means kick the butt of anyone that's guarding it, wait for Donnie's go signal, and shut it down." Kylie states.

"Yeah, but we don't know how many people are guarding it!" Vern argued

"Well, do you want to switch?"

"Yeah, no. We're going to secure the portal." April said for him

"I thought so."

Casey runs out from behind the toolboxes and get right in Bebop and Rocksteady's line of view

"Hey, fellas! Remember me?"

"Look who it is." Bebop states

"Hey, cop, how's your noggin?" Rocksteady says

"Come on!" Casey says tauntingly

"As you wish." Rocksteady says, readying his motorcycle

"It's on, baby!" Bebop yells

The two take off after Casey. The others use this as their chance to escape, and head towards the portal.

When the three get to the same level as the portal, April suggested they use the tops of the cargo to get around. Currently they were laying on top of one cargo boxes, looking at one of the foot soldiers.

April and Vern look to Kylie, knowing that she has professionally trained fighting experience. She takes in a deep breath, before readying herself and jumping from the top of one box too the other, kicking the guy in the process. He hits the concrete flooring and doesn't move.

Kylie jumps down and leans against the side of the cargo boxes, checking to make sure the coast is clear. She shoots a thumbs up to April and Vern, letting them know it's okay to come down. The trio then regroups before taking off towards the portal device.

"Look. There's the portal device." April says

From on top of the shipping containers the three look down at the portal. There stood a girl , her back to them. She was armed with a slick sword and tiny knifes long the slide of her leg.

"Oh, great. She has a sword. We have a hubcap." Vern whisper yells, waving the hubcap in the girls face.

Kylie puts her fingers to her lips, before scanning the room. Her eyes find April's and they nod, thinking the same thing. Kylie quietly motions for Vern to follow her, and the quietly get off the top of the cargo box. April follows behind them before heading to the left. Kylie gets ahead of Vern, veering over at April. The two nod and together they attack her.

The woman turns around and draws her sword. April comes at her first, she then swings the sword in an angle, keeping her from moving forward. She kicks April back into the toolboxes and turns her attention to Kylie. Kylie grabs the metal pipe placed beside her and charged. She brings the metal pipe upwards and the blocks the unknown woman's sword from hitting. However she cut through the pipe. Kylie quickly moves to the side to avoid the other woman's blade. She then twirls the now two metal pieces in her hands before charging at her once more.

With a jump and kick, Kylie plows through her defenses. She takes the metal piece in her left hand and drags it across her blade, and uses the right to push against her abdomen. The girls lets out a grunt before kicking Kylie in her stomach, sending her flying back.

Vern takes the opportunity to catch her off guard. He picks up a piece of metal and goes to hit her over the head, unfortunately she was to quick and instead threw him to the side.

Kylie lets out a breath and looks to see April still struggling to get off the ground. She lets out a ragged breath and pushes herself up, grabbing a wrench from the tool box. The unknown girl's attention was still on Vern, and Kylie ran at her with the wrench; hitting her over the head. The woman toppled to the ground and suddenly Donnie's voice can be heard from the screen near the device.

"Do It! Shut down the portal!"

As Kylie turns to hit it, she feels a sting in her side. She turns and looks to see a knife jabbed into her. She lets out a breath and suddenly the world goes blank. She can see Casey in the corner and remembers the device. She pulls the knife out of her side with a scream and charges at the device stabbing it into it.

There's a wave of light and suddenly Kylie was on the floor again. She couldn't hear anything except for a loud ringing as Casey ran towards her. She tries to focus in, but everything is blurry.

Casey forces her to look at him, inaudible words moving from his lips. Kylie sees April and Vern crouch near her before her world goes black and darkness consumes her.
