vera archer is the type of girl everyone fantasizes about. whether it be about wanting to be her or wanting to be with her, there is no one who can look at her and not appreciate her beauty, her kindness, her intelligence, her confidence.

she has boys and girls alike chasing after her, pining for her attention. she can have anyone she wants. and when she gets bored, she can just move on to the next person who catches her attention.

what vera is not, is the one who gets broken up with.

and when james fucking potter ends their little fling for another girl, vera is beyond furious.

no, she doesn't actually have feelings for him. no, it wasn't anything more than casual and would never have been. no, he wasn't that good in bed.
