[SEASON FOUR: EPISODE ONE]
[PART TWO]

"Ready, bow." Sensei ordered. It was the second day of training with different style dojos, and Ethan hoped that the two men would finally agree on something, or anything for that matter. The class bowed before returning to their original positions.

"Sensei Lawrence and I have the same goal of preparing you for the tournament."

"But we have different ways of getting you there."

"We realize that teaching you opposing viewpoints at the same time can be a little confusing."

"So we've discussed it and come up with a solution. We're gonna divide and conquer. Eagle Fang trains out front."

"And I'll be back here with the Miyagi-Dos."

"But, I thought we were stronger working together." Williams said, looking between the two men.

"We're still working together." LaRusso reassured him.

"Just separately. On opposites ends of the dojo. All right, Eagles, follow me." The blonde man said, making his way out front.

"Miyagi-Dos over here."

The kids all walked off to their teachers, leaving Sam and Ethan by themselves in the backyard.

"I'll see you after class?" He asked.

"Yeah." She replied, nodding her head and gave him a quick kiss on the cheek before catching up with her father.

"Fall in!" Sensei shouted, as the boy caught up with them, standing between Mitch and Bert. They all waited patiently, lining up, anticipating his next instructions.

"Hawk, since you're new to Eagle Fang, come on up."

"Yes, Sensei." Hawk bowed, walking closer up to him. Suddenly, someone dropped down and delivered a front sweep, causing him to fall to the ground.

"What the heck?"

"Today we're gonna practice our front sweeps. On Hawk." Johnny explained to them. The red mohawk boy pushed himself back on his own two feet.

"All right, I know I was dick, but I'm sorry."

"Talk is cheap." He stated, turning back around to stared at him.

"Penis Breath, you're up."

Mitch stepped forward, giving him a look before executing the sweep, causing him to fall down on the ground, again.

"Stop whining like little bitch. Get up."

"Alright, Sensei. I think he's had quite enough." Ethan said, helping Hawk back on his feet.

"Yeah, you're right. Why don't you show him to strike an opponent aggressively?"

"I'm not gonna do that to him."

"Don't be a pussy. Punch him in the face."

"I'll do it." Bert said, standing in front him, bringing his fist back and hitting Hawk in the crotch. He grabbed his crotch in pain and immediately fell down.

"You punched him in the balls? What the hell is wrong with you?" The blonde man questioned. Gus went next, punching Hawk in the stomach, making him double over again.

"Nice shot, Gus!"

"Sensei Lawrence." Daniel called out, closing the door behind him.

"Yes, sir!" Johnny shouted.

"May I have a word with you?"

"All right, guys, everybody take five. Walk it off." He encouraged, patting the boy on his back, before walking away with Daniel.

"You need some ice?" Ethan asked.

"Nah, I'm good." Hawk replied. He nodded his head and turned to see Sam, looking in the direction of where Daniel and Johnny went.

"What's going on in that head of yours?" She asked, walking up to her. He turned around to notice her, as a smile form on his face.

"Just wondering what Sensei and your dad are bickering about."

"Really?"

"I bet they're saying how much better I am than you at karate."

"You wish." Williams scoffed playfully. Before any of them could say anything, they heard like someone talking with someone, as the sound became louder, coming towards the backyard.

"I knew this was gonna be a disaster." Daniel snapped.

"Everything's a disaster with you." Johnny fired back at him.

"What? Me?"

"Hey, Mr. LaRusso, can we talk?" Hawk asked, stepping out of the dojo.

"What?"

"I don't know where I fit in here."

"What did you expect? You've burned burned bridges with pretty much everything here." LaRusso stated, as the boy looked down and stormed away.

"Hey! Hey!"

"What the hell did you do?" Sensei asked.

"What did I do? I'm not the one who's been kicking his ass all day."

"We're training for the All Valley, not some yoga competition."

"Don't disrespect my dojo in front of your students."

"Don't tell me how to run my class. I'll do whatever the hell I want."

"I know what you're doing." Daniel said, and quickly followed him.

"Yeah?"

"Guys, quit bitching at each other!" Ethan shouted to the top of his lungs, getting their attention.

"You two are supposed to be Senseis, not acting like little children." He stated, causing the two men to look at him before turning back to each other.

"Class is over."

"Look, I tried. The only thing LaRusso and I have in common is hating Kresse. I thought that was enough but it's not." Johnny said, his bag slung over his shoulder.

"Well, there's gonna be some way to make it work. I've trained under both of you; it's not that hard to understand your guys' style of karate." Ethan stated, obviously not giving up on trying to convince him to rethink his decision.

"It's not gonna happen. We're too different. There's too much history between us."

"Just forget about it. We'll take down Cobra Kai on our own." Sensei said, patting him on his back before turning around and walked up to his apartment.

"What about what happened in Rocky III?" The boy asked, making the grown man stop, turning back around to face him.

"What about it?"

"How did Rocky defeat Clubber Lang?"

"Did he do it alone? No. He and his arch rival Apollo had to work together. Even though, they had all that history between them, they still made found a way to make it work. And it was only because someone had to reach out first. That was Apollo." He explained to him.

"Why can't LaRusso be Apollo?"

"Because striking first always more badass."

"I'll think about it." Johnny said, and turned around, walking back to his apartment. As the door closed, Williams let a heavy sigh before turning around and pulled out his phone, dialing Sam's number.

"Hey. So how did it go?"

"Not highly positive this'll work, but we have to wait and see. What about you?"

"Couldn't tell if my dad went for it or not." She replied.

"Well, we did everything we could think of. If this doesn't keep our dojos together, I don't know what will to be honest."

"We've gotta try everything. No matter how difficult it may be."

"Yeah."

"Bye."

"Bye, Sammy." Ethan said, turning off his cell phone and stepped inside his mother's apartment.

Meanwhile, near the sand of a beach, Kreese leaned up against the balcony, his eyes watching the sun set over the great beautiful horizon.

"Nice view from up here. I guess you get what you pay for." He said sarcastically, turning around to look at his old friend.

"Is that what you want, John? A check?"

"I wanna finish what we started."

"Finish what we started." The other man laughed.

"Just like we were supposed to do 35 years ago? Before you vanished?"

"I was in a bad place. There's no question about that. But I'm back now, and you can be too."

"Look around. I'm doing just fine." Terry exclaimed, waving his arms around freely.

"Are you? Because the Terry Silver that I knew would have roundhoused old four-eyes back there for calling Cobra Kai 'adorable'."

"Do you remember when we got back from 'Nam? We went through hell watching our friends die, only to be welcomed home by a bunch of hippies calling us killers. People needed to learn some respect, some discipline. That's why we started Cobra Kai. Together, we made a difference."

"Yeah. We did." Silver agreed shortly.

"We can do it again. There's a whole new generation out there that can use what we know. The only thing standing in our way is Daniel LaRusso." The old man stated.

"Danny boy?" Terry questioned, raising an eyebrow.

"He's even teamed up with.... Johnny Lawrence."

"Wait, wait. Your champ and LaRusso working together?"

"That's why I'm here." Kreese nodded his head before continuing.

"I need a partner. And the only other person who knows how to teach Cobra Kai is you. What do you say?"

"I say.... No." Sliver responded, standing up tall and facing his former friend. He went to walk back inside his mansion when something stopped him.

"You know he's training with them, right? He's been training with LaRusso, long before meeting Johnny."

"My grandson, as in Ethan Williams?" Terry asked, and his friend nodded his head.

"I can't believe it. After all these years, Elizabeth managed to flee Canada, without anyone even knowing about it, not even my own son Matthew."

"Then back to Cobra Kai with me. Help me show Williams the right path of karate." Kreese pleaded.

"Look. Back in the '80s, I thought I could conquer the world. And I came pretty damn close. I was so hopped up on cocaine and revenge.... I spent months terrorizing a teenager over a high school karate tournament." Sliver chuckled, at the words that just left his mouth.

"It sounds insane just talking about it. After that tournament, I hit rock bottom. But I built myself back up. Got my ass into therapy, found clarity. Turns out you disappearing was the best thing that even happened to me."

Kreese slightly looked down at the ground before looking back up his friend.

"You know, people expect men of our age to pack it in and go off into the sunset." He said, gesturing his hand out to the horizon, letting out a little laugh.

"That might work for you. But I still have some fight left in me."

"Please thank Cheyenne for the tofu." The old man stated, sending a smirk in his direction, and walked off, leaving the house.

Ethan stepped through the gate of the Miyagi-Do dojo. He always loved training at this place because it was peaceful and serene. He hopped they would keep practicing him for the All Valley tournament.

His eyes wandered over to Daniel's yellow to notice Sam sitting in the back seat with a solemn look on her face. He walked over and leaned up against the side.

"Good day, my lady. My name is Ethan, and I'll be your chaparral from now on." Williams said in a British accent, opening the front door and slid into the seat. He turned around and looked at her, only to see she was still frowning

"Just as long as you show me how to hot-wire this thing so we can go for a ride."

"Wow, not even a smile for me?" Ethan asked in faux hurt, which caused her to crack a small smile.

"My dad was gone when I woke up. Did you know if he had a chance to connect with Johnny?"

"Nah, I didn't see him at all this morning." He replied, as she looked down, like something was on her mind.

"What's up? You've got that look on your face every time something's bothering you. What is it?"

"I went and saw Robby."

"What happened? Is he alright?" The boy asked, and she nodded her head.

"Yeah, it's just I'm worried about him. He's doing down the wrong path."

Ethan grabbed ahold her hand and gently rubbed his thumb against her fingers.

"Hey, It's gonna be okay. Robby can handle himself; you know that."

Suddenly, Hawk walked by with a sledgehammer slung over his shoulder.

"What's up Hawk?" He greeted, but the red mohawk boy ignored him and kept walking with a determined look on his face.

"Isn't that a sledgehammer?" Ethan questioned, looking back at her. They exchanged a worried look before getting out of the car and running in the direction he went.

When they reached the backyard, they found all the kids with tools in their hands, while Demetri peered at an iPad in his hands.

"What's going on here?" The brunette asked.

"Eli came up with a brilliant idea to expand our training area."

"Yeah, I was thinking since we're going to be training together, why not have somewhere to do it?" Hawk shrugged his shoulders.

"Okay, where do we start?"

All the students were doing their part to help out, whether it be clearing away underbrush or gathered tools to help build it.

"All right, stand back. It's coming down!" Hawk shouted, rearing the sledgehammer back before slamming it against the fence, causing it to fall down.

"Hey! What are doing?" Daniel asked angrily as he and Johnny ran over to the group. The boy turned around to look up at them.

"You were both right. Talk is cheap. So I'm building a bridge."

"Uh, more specifically, an Okinawa sparring deck. Eli's a design whiz. I looked it over, and the physics check out." Demetri explained to them, showing the design plans.

"Mr. Miyagi just used this area for extra storage, but a new deck would mean a lot more room for training." Sam stated.

"We're all gonna help build it. Assuming you guys approve of it?" Ethan questioned. Daniel and Johnny looked at each other, something passing between them.

"Sounds good to me."

"Yeah. Sounds awesome." Sensei nodded his head, and the two walked over to them.
