King
The king rules over the kingdom and decides things for his kingdom. If he wishes, he may also discuss with his advisors. It is advisable for the king to have at least one heir.

Queen
The queen is the mate of the king. She can also add in her opinions to the king's decisions and influence him. As queen, her duty is to care and raise the king's kits and make sure that he has heirs. If by any chance, she has a malcadh, he/she will be placed in the Cliff Of Echoing Stones, where he/she is expected to die. If the kit somehow survives, he/she may make his/her way back to the Kingdom and train as a royal apprentice.

Princess
The princess is the daughter of the king and queen. They hold a position of power and respect in the Kingdom. They are expected to train as a royal apprentice for 10 moons, or longer if deemed so. They are expected to be graceful, polite, skilled and beautiful at the end of their training. Their job is to mate and produce princes for the Kingdom.

Princes
Princes are an important part of the Kingdom's society. They are trained for 10 moons as an apprentice, and continue training for the rest of their life, until they claim the throne. Inheriting the throne is their job. Before they inherit the throne, they must hold the Great Royal Gala, (details on the 'EVENTS' page.) and choose a suitable mate. The chosen mate must then be approved of by the king and queen.

Advisors
Advisors are cats who advise the king and along with the queen, influence his decisions. Unlike the queen, the king will listen to them more. Advisors have to train until they become a full advisor. They are very wise. If an advisor is found to be unloyal, he/she will immediately lose their position and be exiled. In rare cases, when the situation is bad, the advisor will be privately executed.

Healers
Healers are very important. Their job is to ensure that the kingdom is healthy, and they tend to the sick and injured. It is required for every full healer to have a healer apprentice, which must be chosen when a sign is given. If a full healer has not chosen a apprentice by the next 3 moons, a apprentice will be chosen by the king and his advisors.

Healer apprentice
A healer apprentice is chosen when a sign is given. They will then train under the current healer until they become a full healer. They become full healers when their mentor decides that he/she is ready. There can only be one healer apprentice at a time.

Warriors
Warriors hunt and fight for the Kingdom. Younger warriors are not viewed as very important, and are treated without respect. A senior warrior, (13 moons >) are treated with more respect. Warriors have to feed and provide themselves and their family.

Apprentices
Apprentices are 6 moons and above. They train for four moons under the assigned mentor. Their mentor is chosen by the king and his advisors, and they often have no say in it. They are often mistreated, as the older warriors are more senior than them, and hold a higher position of respect.

Royal apprentices
Royal apprentices are just like normal apprentices, however, they train in the royal den and train for 10 moons. They are trained by advisors, and sometimes, but rarely, their parents. Princes and princesses are trained differently. Royal apprentices also hold a higher position of respect than normal apprentices and younger warriors.

Nurses
Nurses are normal she-cats who are either pregnant, nursing kits or helping to raise kits. They live in the nursery den, and have to choice of remaining in the nursery den, or going back to being a warrior. The queen does not stay in the nursery den, she stays in the royal den's specialized nursery.

Kits
Kits play no important role in the Kingdom, they just play and bond.

Elders
Elders are past warriors/queens who have retired. Once a king retires, he will go to the elder's den, stripped of his position and royal ranking. He will be treated as a normal cat. The queen will also go there when she retires.
