Tyler's POV

I stayed rooted to the ground, my mind in a turmoil and my fist clenched to my side, her last words ringing in my head.

She loves me.

I clenched my fist tighter as my breathing became a little labourer. I turned and punched the wall, screaming at the same time. The punch created a dent in the wall and my knuckles were bursted and gushing out blood but I didn't care at the moment. I was pissed off. I had a pretty good idea who was behind all this.

Ciara and King!

I sat on the floor, leaning on the wall, sighing. My knuckles were throbbing now, pain cursing through my veins. But one thing I knew was that I ain't gonna loose Tiana.

"Tyler... Oh my God!" Zaria covered her mouth as she came in, followed by the others.

"What happened?" Charles asked, signaling to Joel to come help him get me up.

"Let me go get bandages from the health centre." Lyla said and turned.

"Where's Tiana? You guys came in here together and now you are like this. Did she beat you up?" Kelvin asked and the others shot him a look so he kept quiet. I chuckled bitterly as they set me on one of the chairs.

"I wish that was it..." I trailed off.

"What's going on?" Ada asked.

"She broke up with me." I said. My statement was followed by silence.

"That's not possible." Zaria spoke first.

"I agree. She was fine yesterday. Why the sudden change overnight?" Joel threw his hand up emphatically.

"You all forget that the she-devil herself lives in that same house." Lyla said as she entered the classroom with the first aid kit. She knelt in front of me and started to dress my hand.

"She wouldn't have broken up with me just like that, right? I mean, she was fine yesterday...we were fine." I looked at them. A lone tear left my eyes and I quickly wiped it off.

"Tyler calm down. It's gonna be okay." Ada placed her hand on my shoulder and gave it gentle rubs. I exhaled.

"They are gonna pay for ever messing with her. I just want Tiana safe, nothing more." I said.

"And right now she's not safe. She didn't end things with you on her own will. It's quite obvious that she was threatened, probably by King." Charles said.

"We have got to do something fast before this gets out of hand." Joel said.

"Guys, I get that we are all about that super hero life and all just like Joel was to Zaria last year but this is a more dangerous game. King and Ciara are very notorious and they will obviously kill to get what they want. They want Tiana and they have an upper hand. We are just high school students. We have gotta ask for help before it's too late." Kelvin told us, giving us a pretty reasonable break down of what we must do but waiting can be dangerous.

"Kelvin is right..." Lyla said.

"They is no time. I'm not giving up Tiana, not without a fight." I told them, just to show them how serious I am.

"Neither are we, Tyler. But we have gotta be careful or we will both be at loose ends here." Joel said. I sighed. That didn't sound well for me and when I'm determined no one. Can stop me. Not even my friends.

I'm coming for you, Tiana. Hang on for me.

Seems like I'm taking laws into my hands.

Tiana's POV

I walked back into the house and the door got shut with a bang. Ciara was seated on the sofa, sniffing only God knows what and she looked stoned. I looked back to see King staring at me.

"Well..." He started.

"I did what you asked. I broke up with him, happy?" I gave him a sarcastic smile. King chuckled

"Don't get all sarcastic on me now. It's not your thing. Follow me." He took my hand but I jerked away.

"I'm not following you anywhere." I snapped.

"Tiana, follow me now while I ask nicely." He growled.

"Just following him, he isn't playing." Ciara slurred.

"No I won't. You have basically taken away my freedom and the person I love..." King laughed like a mad man

"Love? Did I hear you say love? Tiana, you are not capable of love." He grimaced. I got really pissed off by that and I was ready to prove him wrong. I moved closer to him and pointed my index to poke his chest. He seemed surprised when I did that.

"That's where you are wrong, King. I am capable of falling in love and I have falling in love with Tyler, whether you like it or not. You are just really bitter because I never did fall for you but really, why would I fall for you. Tyler is handsome, caring, treats me like I'm special, protects me; basically everything you are not. You are a monster and you will always be a monster..."

King was enraged. In a swift motion, his coarse palm met my face in a deafening slap. I tripped and fell to the floor, holding my face. Not that I didn't expect the slap but I didn't expect it to be that hard...and painful. I looked at him and he was red, literally and I could see the smokes coming out of his nostrils like a fire breathing dragon.

"You will regret that." He said through gritted teeth. That was when I knew I made the wrong move. His hands wrapped around my waist as he dragged me up roughly and started to carry me up the stairs.

"Let me go! Help!" I screamed and that earned another slap that short me up.

"Keep your bloody mouth shut! Next time you will watch your tongue." He spat with so much venom. I was crying, pleading for Ciara to come help me. She looked at me and for the first time I saw her being sober.

"King take it easy." I heard her say.

"Shut the bloody hell up, you bitch." He snapped at her and she snapped back. She was also terrified of King.

King dragged me to the room and threw me to the bed. I tried to get away but he hit me, slapping me and kicking me. I screamed but he gagged my mouth, slapping me again and again and telling me to shut up.

I was weak but I tried to fight back at least. He used one of his hand to hold both of mine down, used the other to remove my skirt and without warning, plunged his d**k into me. I screamed in pain. I cried and pleaded but he wouldn't stop and from my side I, I saw Ciara watching it all, a sober look in her eyes but she couldn't stop him.

Third Person POV

It's been one and a half weeks since Tiana was confined to her room and King would go in and do whatever he wanted with her. Cries and screams of agony would feel the house, until Ciara couldn't take it anymore.

"King, this is getting too much." Ciara said when King came out of Tiana's room for the fourth time that day. He was buckling up his jeans as he looked up at Ciara and grimaced.

"Since when did you start caring?" He snapped at her.

"We only said we would teach her a little lesson. This is getting out of hand. Her screams are filling the house. What exactly are you going to her that causing her that much pain. She's in pains." Ciara said.

"Come and see for yourself." King smirked and opened the door. Ciara rushed in and met an half naked Tiana on the bed, looking like the life has been drained from her. Her hair was scattered and her body had several bruises and cuts on it. Ciara gasped. It was way worse that she expected.

"What the hell are you doing to her?! She looks dead!" Ciara screamed. She looked around the room and saw syringes and powdery substances all over. Realization dawned on her. She looked at King who seemed nonchalant.

"You are injecting her with drugs?! Are you mad! She could die!" Ciara screamed on top of her voice.

"She can't die. I give her the right quantity each day. Soon she wouldn't be able to resist." King chuckled.

"Are you insane?! This isn't what we planned. This is going beyond what I stated!" She screamed and King's face changed, shutting her up. So fast, King's palm circled around her neck and pinned her to the wall. Ciara began to gasp for breath.

"What you planned. I didn't plan with you and now I'm taking over. So you better stop raising your voice at me and sit your butt down or it will be you next and trust me, I won't take it easy with you. You seem to forget I own you." King said through gritted teeth. Ciara tried to pry his hands off but it tightened.

"Now, you will go according to my own plan and you will do every single thing I tell you. Understand?" Ciara nodded vigorously.

"My guys are coming over to keep watch over the house. Look sexy and pretty. You will have to satisfy them. Tiana is just for me." He scoffed, pushed her aside and walked out, leaving Ciara gasping and trying to catch her breath. Something registered in her mind

He will kill us soon. I have to do something.

"It's been two weeks since we last heard for Tiana. I'm getting more worried." Lyla heaved. Everyone was seated in an open space restaurant. Tyler looked miserable, everyone did.

"I can't help the gut feeling that something bad is about to happen, or is happening, or has happened to her." Joel said. They began to talk about what they all think about the whole situation. Tyler was quiet all through.

"Tyler you ain't saying anything." Ada said. He let out a strained laugh.

"What exactly do you expect me to say? I haven't had from her in two weeks and I'm scared to my bones that something bad has happened." Tyler snapped.

"Calm down Ty. If our parents find out they would freak and make sure we don't get involved in issue again. The only adult that knows about this is Aisha. Tho she has gotten evidence against King but it still isn't enough. We have to be patient." Zaria said.

"Patient?! I'm running out of patience here. Tiana is in danger and I can't sit and do nothing about this. I can't wait. She needs me." Tyler glared at them.

"She needs us..." Charles said but Kelvin interrupted.

"I hate to break up this discussion but... Ciara is coming towards us." Kelvin said.

"What?!" Joel whispered and looked towards the direction Kelvin was pointing to and truthfully, Ciara was walking towards them, dressed in the most modest way anyone had ever seen her. Tyler stood up angrily.

"What are you doing here?!" He growled at her.

"I didn't come here for trouble." She raised her hand in surrender.

"How did you even find us?" Charles asked.

"I followed you here." She replied.

"Stalker much." Lyla eyed Ciara.

"Look, you guys can hate me all you want but I didn't come here to fight, please." She told them calmly.

"What do you want?" Tyler asked. Ciara sighed.

"I need your help but Tiana needs it more. She's in serious danger." Ciara said and that seemed to gain the attention of everyone, especially Tyler.

I'm back!!!

Oh my gosh I missed you guys so much!! Okay, I finished my exams last Monday and then stayed back in school because my drama team had stay back cos we were shooting a short play for a competition. So, I just got back home yesterday afternoon and boom, I got to work.

How y'all doin? I just hope this chapter was worth the wait. Congratulate me, I'm officially a final year student which means more work 😭😭😭 . I'll be updating from time to time tho.
