One second, they were celebrating their win over the poe cup, then Wednesday figured out the riddle revealing the hidden doorway and now the two were binded to chairs with bags over the head. Honestly, Meredith doesn't understand how they keep ending up in these situations, tensing up as she feels a prescence behind her back.

The bag was ripped off of her head, strands of strawberry blonde blocking her vision. She blows the strands out of her face, quickly spotting about eight masked people. Her eyebrows furrow at the familiar aura she got from them, frowning at the realization that these were just their classmates and not serial killers.

"Who dare breaches our inner sanctum?" The distorted voice of Bianca rings throughout the spacious room. Meredith tries and fails at concealing her amused giggles, watching as Wednesdays face falls at the realization that Meredith had a second ago.

"Are you laughing?" The distorted voice says again, almost offended.

"Dude, we know it's you" Meredith laughs louder.

"Take the mask off, Bianca" Wednesday states, both watching as each member takes their hoods off revealing the familiar faces of their peers.

"Oh wait, I preferred you with it on" Wednesday continues as Meredith snorts at the grimace Bianca made.

Meredith sighs in disappointment, " Honestly, I expected more from you guys." her hands free from the binds as she tilts back in her chair, looking around the dark room.

"How did you untie yourself?" Keith asks in disbelief, staring at Meredith who wiggles her eyebrows

"It's a secret fish boy" She giggles, wiggling her hands towards him.

"How did you guys get down here" Xavier asks, looking towards the two but mostly at Meredith. "Rowan showed me" Wednesday speaks aloud as Meredith grabs the picture from Wednesday pocket. Xavier was quick to reach the strawberry blonde, gently grabbing the picture from her and looking towards Wednesday for an explanation.

"I tracked the watermark to the Poe statue, than I solved the riddle" She shrugs.

Meredith nods her head, "I just came along for the adventure" smirking towards Xavier who continued to glance towards her.

"Wait, there's a riddle?" Keith mumbles " I thought we just snapped twice" his confusion apparent as the members sigh in disappointment.

Meredith giggles " Well aren't you the brightest in the bunch, fish boy". Meredith watches as Keiths face flushes in embarrassment, glaring towards the witch, "Why you little bit-" His sentence was cut off by Xaviers glare.

"The nightshades are an elite social club. Emphasis on elite" Bianca proudly boosted as if that would make Meredith jealous, said girl who was practically falling asleep as they talked.

"We have roof parties, campouts, the occasional midnight skinny-dip" Yoko explains the benefits of the elite social club.

"WOW, they're the cool kids" Meredith sniggers

"Do you guys even have a bedtime?" Wednesday adds on, causing Meredith to cackle even louder

"Last I heard, the Nightshades had been disbanded" Wednesday stares straight ahead, Xavier shifting beside Meredith, their arms grazing each other.

"Yeah, the group kind of lost its charter 30 years ago after some normie kid died" Xavier explains. "But we have a lot of wealth alumni" Yoko interjects and suddenly it was like a lightbulb went off inside Meredith's head.

Memories from the Carter household appeared in her mind, a memory of her sneaking into her father's office and seeing the Nightshade symbol on a folder. Her family donates a large sum of money to the school and Nightshades yearly and that was where she had found the symbol recognizable. Meredith sighs at the memory, drifting back into the conversation about Rowan causing problems for the Nightshades.

"We boosted that loser last semester" Bianca states, "Question is, what are we gonna do about these two" She continues, staring at the two menacingly.

"Only members are allowed in this library" They each share glances with each other. Meredith raises her eyebrows, glancing beside her to see Xavier pursing his lips "I say we invite them to pledge" He states, murmurs following behind those words.

"They're both legacies and the Carters donate a large sum of money to this organization, Meredith practically rules over it" Xavier gestures towards the photo of their parents. Meredith glances towards the picture right beside the Addams. Her parents looked so young and happier in the photo unlike how they are today.

"I'm sorry?! After the crap Meredith pulled in the Poe cup, there's no way in hell she is joining the Nightshades" Bianca exclaims while Meredith whistles, faking a pout.

"Seems like someone is being a sore loserrrr" Meredith sings

"And, Wednesday Addams is a complete psychopath who will only cause trouble for us" Bianca continues.

"Just because we beat you at your own game? Let me save you the trouble. We are not interested in joining." Wednesday decides for both of them ignoring Meredith's complaint and the looks of disbelief across each member's face.

"Hey, what if I wanted to join?" Meredith pouts causing Wednesday to give her a look, "Do you wanna join?" Wednesday asks watching Meredith think, "hmmm, no. Doesn't seem that fun if you can't cause tsunamis" Meredith winks towards Bianca

"You're seriously turning us down?" Yoko asks in disbelief

"Can you believe it? Literally, how crazy of us to turn you down" Meredith stresses the words out

"Untie them" Bianca motions towards the two but before anyone reached them, Meredith stood up, popping her bones with a pleasured sigh, "Gosh that talking took forever. Let's get out of here W" Meredith whines, watching Wednesday showcase her untied hands, "I untied myself five minutes ago" Wednesday states with a roll of her eyes, handing the rope to Xavier before passing by him. Meredith was quick to follow, giving Xavier a wink and watching as his face flushed a faint pink.

Keith was quick to block the way, "Do you really want a matching black eye?" Wednesday asks watching in pleasure as fear overtook the boy, passing by him and up the stairs. Meredith follows behind Wednesday, patting Keith on the shoulder, "Later, fish boy" She laughs, disappearing up the staircase.

Meredith sat on a bench, soaking up the sun whilst Wednesday stood, listening to Weems talk about Outreach day.

"All students will report for their volunteer jobs at 10am sharp, followed by community lunch at 1:00. As you know, this year outreach day culminates in a very special event, the dedication of a new memorial statue in the town square which will also include performances by Nevermore students." Weems speaks loudly to all the students gathered.

Meredith huffs in annoyance at the event, quickly opening her eyes as the sun was blocked from her face. Green meets a familiar shade of blue, a smile spreading across the strawberry blondes face. " Noah" she smiles up at the boy who quickly takes the seat next to her, giving a nod of acknowledgement to Wednesday who ignores the boy.

"I hope we work together!" Noach exclaims, bumping his shoulder with hers.

"I don't want to work at all, this is so stupid" Meredith groans, leaning back as the papers were handed out, an excited Enid coming up to the three.

"Yes! I got Pilgrim World! What did you all get?" She smiles widely at the three

"Uriah's heap, whatever that is" Wednesday says looking up towards Enid who grimaces, "Ew. It's this weird, creepy antique store" Enid explains watching Meredith open hers

"I got Pilgrim World" Meredith frowns watching Enid jump up and down, "yay, We're together!"

"Aw man, I got the coffee shop" Noah frowns, looking sadly at Meredith who smiles towards the boy, ruffling his brown curls, "At least you don't have to wear the ugly pilgrim clothing" Meredith giggles, oblivious to the jealous glares from a certain boy who was watching the two with a close eye.

The three continue to talk until it was time to load onto the buses that would transport them down to the town.

Oh, the things that will go down.
