MAJOR TRIGGER WARNINGS! 

I actually can't believe I didn't include this in the older versions of this book because omg, does it need it. 

there is a lot of blood, gore, and death in this book. it is, of course, a book, so there is no pictures, but there is what I consider pretty bad descriptions.

there is also (brief) mentions of sexual assault. it doesn't happen to the main character and it's barely a paragraph long, but I thought I'd mention that. 

this is a fan fiction of the hunger games, so most of what's in here is about equal to what's in the actual books--I'd like to think. I have a pretty dark mind, so I may not take my judgement as true. 

but otherwise, enjoy reading! I'm very thankful for everyone who read it, even if you're just reading this author's note and nothing else.

another A/N: this is a very old book, maybe like two years as of 12/16/23, or more. that means that the writing is not very good, nor is the plot very thought-through or interesting. 

so really just be warned: it's not a very good book. the writing isn't spectacular and the plot doesn't all work beautifully, but then again, I have pretty high standards, so really what do I know?
