Walking into a classroom, Aphmau and Rosemary turned towards a girl with long, chocolate brown hair that meets her hips in slight waves, dark brown eyes and a fringe that almost covers her right eye; her skin was a beautiful chocolate complexion.

She wore the classic Phoenix Drop High uniform, consisting of a white short sleeved shirt with gray accents, buttons and a light blue bow. The uniform also includes a short dark gray and white skirt paired with black dress shoes with long, white stockings.

'Ahh, Aphmau, Rosemary!',Teony; a very kind and sweet girl that the twins had met their freshman year, said with a cheerful tone,'You're back!'

With a nervous laugh, Aphmau turned her earthy brown eyes towards the tiles of the floor and shifted her weight to her other foot, anxiously.

'H-Hey, Teony',Aphmau greeted.

With a bright smile, Rosemary's eyes glistened like rubies under the fluorescent lights of the room and her tail ecstatically swayed from side to side, a bright and fanged smile on her face as she greeted her friend.

'Rosemary and I are here to turn in our sashes for the day',Aphmau explained.

With a confident look on her face, Rosemary nodded and gently removed the sash from her shoulder, her left ear twitching as the material gently grazed her sensitive, furry ears, causing the girl to shake her body; her fur standing up as small pieces shedded onto the ground.

With a suspicious look in her eyes, Teony switched her dark, chocolate gaze between the two and watched their reactions.

'Did you two at least help one student?',Teony questioned.

While Aphmau looked very anxious, Rosemary looked a bit calmer and to be honest, Teony thought that it was simply because the girl was used to helping people, since she was the beta female of the werewolves.

And there were a lot of werewolves in this school and the red eyed beta had quite the reputation.

With gentle smiles, Aphmau and Rosemary turned towards each other and their faces brightened as they looked towards one another; the werewolf bringing out a confidence in her.

'Yup!',Aphmau said confidently,'We sure did'

Ever since they were younger, Rosemary was always the one to keep Aphmau safe and she was very grateful to have her in her life. Without Rosemary, it would be like there was a void in her life; a dark and empty hole where nothing could fill it.

And when her and Aaron had protected her from Balto last year, her respect for her twin grew even more.

If the girl could, she'd immediately pass down the title of alpha female to Rosemary, but Aphmau had made her sister a promise and that promise was to be the best alpha female that she could be and help her look after the werewolves in this school.

And she would do just that.

'Perfect!',Teony exclaimed gleefully,'Then this program might work after all. Why don't you two go around and help out some more?'

While Aphmau got all clammy about the idea, Rosemary would've gladly helped out a bit more but if Aphmau didn't agree, then she would either, they were a package deal and if her sister didn't want to do it anymore, than neither would she.

Seeing the nervous look on Aphmau's face and hearing the nervous laugh leave her lips, Teony gently smiled and slowly shook her head.

'Let me guess',The girl gently chuckled out,'You're nervous'

Finally, the dam holding back her emotions bursted and Aphmau stepped back, sweat slowly rolling down her skin, her caramel eyes wide with anxiety as the smell of her fear wafted into Rosemary's nose.

'You have no idea!',Aphmau exclaimed, her heart rapidly pounding within her chest and her breathing slowly escalated as her hands began to shake with nerves,'I thought that I was going to die in front of Kasey! Rosemary and I led him around in circles trying to find his homeroom and he probably thinks I'm a loser'

Furrowing her eyebrows, eyes of fire slowly looked down towards the ground and the werewolves ears slowly lowered, touching the top of her scalp, as she slowly began to think over Aphmau's words.

If the two of them led him around in circles together.. wouldn't that mean that he'd think they were both losers?

Her?

A werewolf?

The most feared beta in the school was possibly a loser in the eyes of her friend because she had led him around in circles and even worse, he probably thought her alpha was a loser!

Breaking Rosemary out of her thoughts, Teony let out a bright and bubbly laugh, which caused her eyes to gently crinkle at the sides and her smile lightened the dark atmosphere that was slowly beginning to creep into the room.

'Fine, I'll take your sashes for the day',Teony told the twins and slowly shook her head in amusement, a gentle smile tugging at the corner of her lips,'You two helped one person; even though it was the same person, it still counts, which is more than what I asked of the two of you'

A shaky sigh of relief slowly left the raven-haired girl's lips and eyes of amber slowly looked up, a bashful expression on Aphmau's face as her cheeks slowly began to redden.

'I'm sorry, Teony',Aphmau apologized,'I want to me more outgoing, just like you a-and Rosemary! And I'm really trying'

With a gentle look on her face, Rosemary gently wrapped her arm around her sister's shoulders and pulled her twin into her side, gently rubbing her hand up and down her arm in a soothing motion, causing Aphmau's heartbeat to slowly decrease from it's rapid beat.

'You're doing a great job, never doubt that',Teony said reassuringly, before looking at Rosemary,'The both of you. You'll become more confident in time'

Hearing footsteps rapidly approaching them, ears of chestnut brown with a splash of snow glistening white, simple, and elegant, at the tips twitched and eyes of vermilion turned towards the doorway.

A girl with bright pink hair that looked as soft and as similar as cotton candy, with eyes of a beautiful marigold that shone as brightly as the northern lights and as elegantly as the sun, and a very pale white skin tone that reminded the werewolf of a beautiful cloud in the morning sky, a gentle blush that was the color of a strawberry flushed the girl's gentle skin. At the top of her head were two, black cat ears and a black cat tail to match was attached to her tailbone.

'Kawaii~Chan's back!',The Meif'wa exclaimed as she arrived.

Meif'wa's were very similar to werewolves. They both had animal ears and had amazing eyesight, but the differences between the two stood out a lot.

While werewolves spoke in first person, Meif'wa spoke in third person almost all of the time unless they learned not too. And while Rosemary didn't mind it at all, she couldn't say the same for most of the students in the school.

'Kawaii~Chan!',Teony exclaimed,'How did your round go?'

With eyes as wide as saucers, a light hum left the girl's lips and she slowly looked towards the ground, thinking back.

Anxiously walking towards the towering and terrifying building, a freshman with light brown hair and bright sky blue eyes slowly inched towards the building, his breath shaky and stuttering.

'I- I can do it..',The freshman encouraged himself.

As if it were raining cats, the overly ecstatic Meif'wa landed in front of the freshman and the poor boy felt his heart jump into his throat.

'Hi there!',Kawaii~Chan exclaimed in her cheery tone and a bright smile was plastered onto her strawberry pink lips,'Kawaii~Chan is here to help!'

A scream of fright left the freshmen's lips and he immediately ran away from the girl, terror shinning in his eyes.

Slowly walking up to a student, a girl with beautiful chocolate skin and elegant raven hair, gently stuttered out her words.

'H-Hi there, excuse me. But where could I find—'

As if it were straight out of a horror movie, water splashed up from the fountain as a face popped out of the water and bubblegum pink locks stuck to a pale face.

'I can help!',Kawaii~Chan exclaimed.

Backing away, the girl immediately refused and her eyes bulged out of her head as she ran away from the Meif'wa as quickly as she could.

'Ahh! No, no, no, no, no!'

As she snapped out of her thoughts, a nervous laugh broke through the girl's lips and she watched as Teony let out a small sigh.

'Well.. I suppose that there are three types of people',Teony stated.

Suddenly, a girl with waist-long orange hair walked into the room; her hair looked like the sun's gentle beam that slowly began to fade away as the giant flaming star began to set, sending a gentle tangerine across the beautiful oasis that was the sky, her eyes were as crimson as a ruby and as bright as the sun.

'Alright, I helped a freshman',Lucinda stated as soon as she walked in,'..I think. Can't we just chill with the mentoring for now? It's the first day..'

With a silent sigh, Teony's earthy brown eyes stared at the other red-eyed girl and slowly began to look between the four of them.

'Four.. make that four types of people',Teony stated,'Alright ladies, we can take a break until lunch time'

While a collective amount of sighs of relief filled the air, there was one sigh of disappointment and all of the girl's looked towards Kawaii~Chan as she looked towards the ground with a small pout on her face.

The group of girl's were huddled up in the girls bathroom and Rosemary gently jumped up, sitting on top of one of the sinks.

'Say what you want about these new uniforms, but I think that the school made a fashionable choice to change them',Lucinda stated.

Fully agreeing with the girl, Teony immediately nodded and a small laugh left her lips.

'Oh, I know!',Teony exclaimed, before looking towards around the small circle of girls,'So, how was your summer ladies?'

Almost immediately, Lucinda answered and a dreamy look settled in her eyes as she began to talk.

'Absolutely perfect, I met this guy..',Lucinda trailed off and a small giggle left her lips as she began to think about him.

Ears falling back, Rosemary slowly looked towards the ground as the subject began to turn towards guys and crushes and boyfriends, causing the young werewolf to frown as she gently dug the tip of her shoe into the floor.

Unlike most girl's in this school, the beta had completely closed herself off to the idea of love and while she knew that would make her a weirdo, she didn't really care. Most of the werewolves thought it was because she would attack anyone who looked at her the wrong way and that's why the beta wasn't dating.

But in reality, the girl didn't want to date anyone at the moment and she wanted to keep it that way. The last time she had a crush, she was rejected because of her reputation and her last boyfriend was a total psychopath.

Albeit it was for a very good reason, she still didn't forgive him and she was thankful that he was no longer in the school. Just because you had been had been in a rebellious stage and wanted to be a bad boy, didn't give you the right to treat your girlfriend badly and threaten her any time she talked to a guy.

Maybe it was his insecurities, but that still didn't make it right.

She was glad that she was older now and could keep herself safe, defend herself much better in situations that could be similar to that one.

And so, that had changed the girl's whole opinion on love and she didn't want a relationship.

Snapping out of her thoughts, Rosemary's ears twitched as she heard the girl's talking to Aphmau and she quickly tuned into the conversation.

'Oh, that's right!',Teony exclaimed,'How was your summer with Aaron?'

Being the curious and protective sister she was, Rosemary looked towards Aphmau and her ears perked up. Even though she was protective, the beta liked Aaron and respected him; even though he was the alpha and she had to respect him, he had earned her trust by treating her sister right and respected Rosemary as well.

The girl had stuck by his side ever since he had stood up to Balto with her and even threw him out the window, causing him to become the new alpha.

She was his beta and he was her alpha, he was her friend and she was his sister; even though they weren't related by blood, the alpha male began to see the girl as a younger sister and grew very protective over her.

He had even jumped in the way of a werewolf that tried to challenge her, thinking that she was the alpha female; but sadly, his actions were unnecessary as the beta had brought the female to the ground in seconds.

And that's when a beautiful friendship had begun to blossom.

A high-pitched squeal left Kawaii~Chan's lips and the sound heightened in Rosemary's ears causing the girl to let out a loud whimper as she quickly covered her ears, wincing in pain.

Seeing this action, the Meif'wa immediately stopped and quickly apologized to her friend, cries of panic leaving her lips as she rushed forward to look at her werewolf friend's ears and make sure she didn't damage her hearing.

'It was... nice',Aphmau hesitated.

Seeing her expression, Lucinda's shoulders dropped in realization and a saddened look filled her eyes.

'Oh no.. that doesn't sound good',Lucinda muttered.

With a concerned look in her eyes, Teony looked towards Aphmau and her lips parted as she tried to process her words.

'What happened?!',Teony exclaimed.

After making sure that Rosemary's ears were okay, Kawaii~Chan moved back to her place and looked towards Aphmau, her eyes full of curiosity.

Shaking her head, Rosemary's ears twitched at different times and she shook her head, feeling strange since she never let anyone touch her ears.

They were very sensitive.

'Well.. Aaron had a lot to do to get ready for college, so.. we only got to spend the first week of summer together',Aphmau exclaimed,'Then we kind of didn't see each other for a while'

Rosemary let out a small grumble and looked towards one of the stall with her arms crossed over her chest; even though it wasn't that long, the she-wolf was still shaken at the love that radiated off of them whenever they spoke, it was disgusting that her friend was flirting with her sister and she still hadn't forgiven them for flirting in front of her.

'Well.. he has to focus on his studies',Teony stated slowly, hesitantly,'Same as you'

'Exactly! So, we both agreed that we would just stay friends and if everything works out, maybe after I finish high school, then we'll think about something',Aphmau explained.

Some might say that Rosemary was jealous, but she wasn't; she was just hurt. She was hurt that her sister had found someone and she.. well, she had found no one.

Besides, who would want to be with an aggressive beta female anyway?

All of the males in the school were either afraid of her or hated her for getting in the way of becoming alpha.

They had flirted with her sister, which didn't make the girl too happy since she knew that Aphmau really like Aaron and so, the female decided to throw any guy that flirted with her sister, out of a classroom window or threw them against a locker.

But, even though she wasn't ready for love just yet, that didn't mean that she didn't want to find it and knowing that no one may ever see her in that way, caused the girl's heart to ache.

After all, werewolves are meant to have mates and if the beta didn't find one, that would make her strange and she would be seen differently in her pack's eyes.

Having tuned out the whole conversation, Rosemary's ears twitched as her name was called and she looked up, her eyes wide with confusion.

'What about you, Rose~sama?',Kawaii~Chan questioned, her feline eyes staring at her friend as her tail gently swayed behind her.

Perking up at the question, all of the girl's turned towards the werewolf and smiled at her, their bodies radiating excitement as they awaited her answer.

'Yeah, Rose',Teony said, her eyes soft,'Have you found that special person yet?'

Flattening her ears against her head, Rosemary's tail stopped wagging and her eyes dropped towards the floor of the bathroom, a low sigh leaving her lips as she slowly shook her head.

"No..",Rosemary said, her voice making her sound smaller than she was and she hated it.
