I walked down the forest calmly. I couldn't sense anyone near.

Then I heard the sound of water. I speed up as I saw a beautiful and clear small lake. Pretty...

I walked up to it as I bowed to the ground and washed my face. I don't know how long it was since I felt cold water.

As I was sitting to the river I felt a presence somewhere behind me. I closed my eyes focusing where it was coming from. From behind a tree? Seriously everyone today are too original! Or am I too sarcastic?

The person hiding from the tree jumped out screaming, thinking that he caught me off guard. As he was about to stab me with some weird long knife I dodged it with lying down and kicking his stomach, sending him to the water.

As he fallen in the water, I froze the top of the lake to create some sort of a wall.

He started bumping to the ice screaming for help as I walked the ice to him, as he watched me terrified.

I smiled at him.

His eyes widened before he passed out. I made a hole in the ice as I grabbed his hand and laid him on the ground.

\\3rd person (POV)\\

The man slowly opened his eyes to see himself laying next to a camp fire, the sky dark and full of beautiful stars. He growled sitting up clutching his eyes.

"What happened..." he mumbled.

"That was a dirty trick."

He shot his head to see a girl with pink hair sitting a few meters away from him, next to the fire eating meat, from a unknown animal.

The girl wore white shirt and a blue skirt. She was clearly calm, as he recognised her.

"You... you are..." he gasped.

"Yea, sorry about that," she sight looking up to the stars. "I didn't want to hurt you badly. But you attacked me from behind. I was just defending myself."

"You almost killed me!" The man was terrified as he grabbed his neck, memories flashing due his eyes.

"Almost," she said. "And don't tell me you wouldn't have done the same," she continued as the man looked away. "I'm your target. Correct?"

The man narrowed his eyes, too embarrassed to lie. "Yea, you are..."

"I thought so," the girl chuckled. "However you are not my target, so I have no use in taking your badge."

The man hid his face by looking at the ground. "Why? Why did you..."

"So you could try again, next year," she finally looked him in the eye. Her eyes where bright blue, like the sea and the sky, full of memories and brightness. She looked so peaceful that it was hard to believe how cold and icy she was before. "Everyone, even the ones that think they don't, do deserve another chance. So I believe in you."

His eyes started watering as he looked away embarrassed. The girl giggled lightly. The man brushed off his tears as he looked at the girl again. "What's your name, kid."

"Hm? It's Annya mister."

"Then it was nice to meet you, Annya. I thank you for your kindness. My name is Karsenel."

\\Annya (POV)\\

In the morning I left my sleeping spot. Yesterday right after we introduced ourselves, Karsenel left and I stayed to the water fir the rest of the night.

As I walked down the forest again I groaned and hoped in a tree. I was grumpy and lazy, but also dissatisfied that I haven't found my opponent.

"Man, this is going to take me ages!" I whined sitting in the tree.

"How thought?"

I flinched at the voice as I looked down to see someone sitting to a tree, almost as if resting.

He had bright yellow eyes, pink hair that went up, not down and had strange marks on his face. On one of his cheeks was a star, on the other was a tear like thingy.

My eyes widened as I remember how Gon mentioned his name.

"Hisoka!" I said standing up on the branch.

He smiled at me as I widened my eyes. "My, my... I don't think we have met yet," he said standing up as I hoped off the tree as well.

"No, we haven't," I said, ready for anything.

"Well then, you do know my name~" he said sounding too weird. "What's yours little girl?"

I narrowed my eyes at him. "Annya. That is my name."

"Annya, hm?~" he said in a seductive way. I gulped. "I see that you know Nen huh? Not just know, you seem to have mastered it!" He said as I clutched back. "How improving..."

"Drop the act," I commanded. "What do you want? I know I'm not your target, so what do you want from me?"

"Nothing, really," he said smiling. "Just to talk, that's all."

I didn't loose my composure. "You seem to know Nen as well. And way better than me."

"That's what age does~" he giggled.

I closed my eyes. "Can I go?"

Hisoka sheepishly smiled. "Fine~ but we will fight one day, Annya~"

I turned away. "Maybe." I said as my eyes darkened. "But that day, is not coming so soon Hisoka."

...

I walked the forest my head low. I was caught off guard. I wasn't paying attention to my surroundings since I thought I was safe. But I'm never safe. I had to know that.

I gulped as anger washed over my face. We will fight one day, Annya~. That's what he said. I will need to fight him. The thought of that scared me.

Then I heard footsteps. I didn't look back, but stopped. From the sound of it I can assume there's two of them.

"Look who's there!" Said a boy's voice.

"A little girl!" Another one said.

"What are you doing here little you? Did you loose you mommy?" Said the boy.

"I..." My eyes narrowed to the ground.

"Oh no, she's scared! What do we do now, Janse?" Said the other voice in a fake tone.

"Maybe we should find her mommy!" Laughed Janse. "Oh how sad, that there is no mommy!"

"Shut up..." I mumbled as I began trembling out of my anger trying to keep calm.

"Oh what was that? Did you hear anything Aremen?" Said Janse.

"No, did you?" said Aremen. "I think we should teach the girl a lesson so she could speak more clearly!"

"Oh wait! She's about to say something!" Janse laughed. "Now say it again, brat. What did you..."

"Shut up!" I yelled turning to them my eyes full of rage as I was about to attack them...

My eyes widened at the view.

Both of the guys where on the ground, covered in their own blood. Not breathing.

I felt a tap on my shoulder as I looked back to see white strands of hair.

"Yo," said Killua as we stared at each other.

"Wh..." I stared blankly at him. "KYAAA!" I screamed as I tripped over a stool. Killua grabbed me by my arm, before I could drop on the ground as he raised a brow.

"Seriously, how are you so clumsy?" He said bringing me to my feet.

"I'm not!.." I stopped as I remembered how I always trip on small things, fall off from everywhere and Killua always needs to come to my rescue for that. "Ok I may be clumsy!" I said looking away from him embarrassed. He smirked as I glared at him.

"Anyways did you do it?" I asked pointing at the two dead men. He only shrugged as my eye twitched.

I exhaled, walking up to the two looking at their numbers. 312 and 313.

"Yay! That's my target!" I said excitedly, while  taking the badge. I smiled at it as I shoved it in my pocket.

"That's nice," Killua grinned. "Anyways I'm moving up. Wanna join me till the phase is over?"

I smiled at him. "Don't mind if I do!"
