Tony and Pepper get to the house, and it was completely frozen. It looked like the two of them were in some sort of dream or something, because it isn't even winter, as it was a couple months ago. It is almost summer, not winter.

"JARVIS, you, their buddy?" Tony asked for his AI, but he didn't hear anything besides static as he's guessing that the reason why JARVIS is staticky is because the house is literally frozen.

"Tony, get Mira." Pepper tells Tony as he was already heading upstairs as he tried not to slip from the ice.

Tony walked up the hallway leading up to Mira's room as all of the rooms were frozen and were covered in thick ice. The more that Tony is in the area of Mira's room the thicker the ice is. Mira's bedroom door was closed, it didn't help matter how it was literally frozen shut. On the other side of the door, there was crying.

"Mira, open up, Bambina." Tony says to his daughter as he didn't hear a response, minus Mira still crying.

"What happened?" Pepper asked as she carefully walked up the frozen stairs, she almost slipped but she caught her balance, by leaning against a frozen wall.

"It's frozen shut." Pepper states as Tony copies one of Mira's duh looks.

Tony had an idea as he headed towards the staircase as he was going to see if he can try to melt the ice with the blasters from his suit. A minute later Tony came flying from downstairs as Pepper ducked so that she wouldn't get knocked over by Tony flying the suit in the house.

"VERONICA, you there?"

"Who hell is Veronica?" Pepper asked.

"Mira's AI. I know it was a shock for me too." Tony says.

"Yes, sir I am." VERONICA's voice could be heard from Mira's room.

"What happened?" Pepper asked the AI.

"It appeared after you left Miss Potts for the party Mira had a terrible nightmare followed by a panic attack. A month before she came here, she had drunk a foreign blue liquid which had the chemicals for her powers in it." VERONICA says as Pepper thinks it through before she nods her head.

"That would explain the tiny ice figurines that would appear around the house, when you were gone." Pepper says.

"Great, just finding that out." Tony sarcastically says. "Let me guess Ice....is the superpower?"

"Yes, Ice Manipulation." VERONICA says as Tony sighs.

"M, can you hear me?" Tony asked as he tried again to use the blasters to melt the ice, but it didn't work, unless the ice is indestructible ice. 

Is indestructible ice even a thing? Was Tony's thought process in his head.

"Daddy, I'm scared." He heard Mira says as that was his hint that she can in fact hear him.

"Mira, it's just me and Pep. It's okay." Tony says in hopes that it would somewhat calm his daughter down, but at this point he thinks it won't work. Since his house looks like a frozen wonderland. Literally.

It might look cool, but this kind of ice is dangerous and deadly.

"Go away, I don't want to hurt you." Mira says, clearly terrified.

"Nothing will happen to me, I'm in the suit." Tony says to his daughter to reassure her that he wouldn't get hurt.

"I'm scared." Mira says still terrified.

"It's okay, baby." Pepper says.

"While you're at it, can you try to melt the ice." Tony says as Pepper nodded her head.

"What your dad said?" Pepper said.

It got quiet on the other side of the door, as it took a couple minutes, but the ice slowly melted as Mira was doing some breathing techniques. Once the ice was completely melted, Tony opened the door as Mira was in a corner in her room on her knees as she slowly looked up. Her eye color wasn't their normal soft blue, it was a dark blue color, they quickly changed to their soft blue color.

"It's okay, M." Tony says as just then Mira's breathing slowly gets faster as her hands are shaking, as her eyes are flashing between her normal eye color and the dark blue. She's trying to keep her scream inside, but she doesn't know how long that she will be able to keep it in. "Hey, it's okay. Calm down." Tony says as he grabbed her hands, well his iron hands (you get the point).

"What happened?" Tony asked as Pepper decided on going to bed, she changed out of her dress, quickly did her night routine, and then she went to bed. It's been a long day and night with also dealing with Mira's newly ice powers.

"I don't want to talk about it?" Mira says as Tony got on his knees so that him and Mira are eye-to-eye. 

"You sure?" He asked her as she didn't hesitate to shake her head.

"Yeah." She says as he brings her into a hug knowing that she needs it, he didn't let go of the hug until he knew that she was ready. Also, calmed down more so that when he does let go of the hug her breathing stays regular and stable. The last thing that he needs is Mira's breathing to skyrocket and he's at the hospital. That is definitely not on his agenda and or to-do list on any day.

"Can you at least tell me what it was about, please?" Tony asked her as Mira's eyes lowered breaking the eye contact.

"You." Was all what Mira said.

"Hey, whatever happens to me, I will always love you, okay." He says to her.

.....

With everything that happened tonight, Tony's suit was done getting the new additions into it. Tony had convinced Mira to come downstairs. "Why are we down here?"

"First it's a playground for cool people." Tony says as Mira let out a yawn. "Second of all, want to go blow up the place that held me captive."

How do I answer that question. 

"Uh...." 

"Get suited up. You're coming."

The two Starks got suited up and they are currently on their way to Gulmira to go blow it up or something as Mira wasn't entire paying attention to that kind of information. It's too tiring to try to stay awake but when you don't want to risk going back to bed and next thing you know, your nightmare is back. So, Mira is going to do whatever she can to stay awake for as long as possible.

The two of them landed in Gulmira as Tony landed on his knee, and Mira landed in a barrel. She's still learning how to stop flying in the suit, she has figured it out, but she just needs to figure out how to completely stop, not slow down.

Tony didn't have the chance to get Mira out of the barrel that she was stuck in as the terrorists started shooting their guns at Tony. Said billionaire steps over and swings his arm up into the man's stomach, which sent him flying. Mira screamed as she felt some bullets coming in her direction, then again, the bullets came out of nowhere.

Mira managed to break free from the barrel, when she finally got out of the barrel is when Tony was done killing the terrorists and getting the kids and parents back together. Mira saw a straggling terrorist as she went to use her ice blasters, but the guy grabbed her as she tried to struggle out of his grip, but it was no use.

"Put the girl down!" Tony says through his suit as the guy had his gun pointed at the side of Mira's face as Tony had his blasters pointed at the guy's face. "Put the girl down!" Tony says again as the guy cocked his gun, as he shoved Mira to the ground.

"She's a worthless brat anyway." The guy sneered in English to the father of Mira. Mira's body came in contact with the ground as she landed on her arm and there were sharp rocks in pieces from the terrorists' attacks in Gulmira.

"That's it. I'm not going to play nice." Mira says as she used her good arm that she didn't land on and both in sync her and Tony fired their separate blasters, which immediately killed the guy as he disintegrated into ash. 

The two Starks few back Malibu, as Mira's suit was already back on her body as she transferred it to a bracelet so that it is easier to suit up. Tony is currently on a call with Rhodes as Mira didn't want to question it. "We have a serious problem over here; we've got a weapons depot that was just blown up where you were being held captive." Rhodes said as that didn't sound good as Mira overheard their conversation.

"Hi, Rhodes." Mira says butting into the conversation.

"Oh god Tony, Mira's with you?!" Rhodes exclaims as Tony gives Mira a look.

Rude, he didn't even say hi back. When a person says hi, you have to say hi back.

"Sorry. I wanted to say hi."

"Couldn't you do that when we got home, and you actually saw him."

"Nope."

"Anyway, well, that's a hotspot. Sounds like someone stepped in and did your work for you, huh?" Tony sarcastically says to Rhodes.

"Tony, why do you sound out of breath?" Rhodes asked accusingly.

"I'm not, me and Mira are jogging through the canyon." Tony lies as Mira gives her father a look as that's the stupidest lie she's ever heard of.

"That's a stupid lie, and I know that." Mira says as Tony groans.

"You weren't supposed to say that." He says to his daughter.

"Tony...." Rhodes says to his friend.

"Yeah." Tony says coming back to him and Rhodes' conversation before Mira decided to say hi to him. As in her defense she just wanted to say hi, so she did. Even if that meant nearly blowing their cover.

"Tony, you sure you both don't have any tech in that area I should know about?" Rhodes asked the two Starks.

"Definitely no tech here. Nothing to worry about."

"Nice lie, Mira, I think he bought it."

"I didn't buy the lie Tony. I'm not stupid." Rhodes says to Tony.

"Bogie spotted!"

"Okay, good thing because I'm staring at two right now and they're about to be blown to kingdom come." Rhodes says as both Mira and Tony's eyes widen.

"Shit." The two Starks both say in unison.

"That's my exit." Tony says.

Not even a minute later, Tony called Rhodes, and he was irritated. "What now?"

"Hi, Rhodey. It's us." Tony says as he was slightly wheezing.

"It's who?" Rhodey asked.

"I'm sorry it is us. You asked. What you asked is us." Tony continues.

Rhodey then starts scolding Tony which Mira found amusing, as she is a perfect little angel and knew that Rhodey wasn't scolding the perfect angel that Mira is. 

She definitely isn't a perfect little angel, that's for sure. 

"No, see, this isn't a game. You do not send civilian equipment into my active war zone. You two understand that?"

"We aren't a piece of equipment!" Tony exclaims. "It's two suits. One's me and the other one is Mira!"

"It's us!" Tony and Mira practically scream.

There is a lot more yelling between Tony and Rhodey, as the said yelling turns into them bantering, before Rhodes hangs up having enough of Tony's bullshit for one day. He might as well keep Tony on a leash, so that he can watch him like a dog.

.....

The two Starks got home from their little trip to Gulmira which nearly turned into a death trap, but the father and daughter are in one piece. Which is a good thing, because if they weren't in once piece Pepper would possibly kill Tony, and just ground Mira for the rest of her life.

 Tony and Mira are in the playground as Tony calls it as said Tony is trying to get out of his suit. "Hey!" Tony exclaims as Dum-E and Casper are trying to take off the suit.

"It is a tight fit sir. The more you struggle, the more this is going to hurt." JARVIS says as Mira thought that this was a good time to eat some more Cheeto Puffs, as this is really interesting watching both her dad and JARVIS struggling to get the suit off.

In her defense she got hungry for a late-night snack. Not that Cheeto puffs are the healthiest snack ever, but the girl couldn't care less.

"Be gentle. This is my first time.... I designed this to come off, so...hey, I should really be able to...." Tony says as just then Pepper walked into the playground.

"Please try not to love sir." JARVIS tells Tony as he continues to move.

"J, you should know about know that he doesn't listen." Mira pipes up which made Tony give her a side-eyed look.

"What the hell is going on in here?" Pepper asked as she walked in the situation of Tony struggling.

"Let's face it. This isn't the worst thing you caught me doing." Tony says laughing a little as Mira just shook her head.

"Are those bullet holes?" Pepper asked as she saw the holes in the suit.

"Nah, he made them into the suit." Mira sarcastically said as it was Pepper's turn to give the girl a look as she just shrugged her shoulders before taking a drink of her soda.

"Yes and no." Tony tells Pepper.

little later

"Hey? You busy? You mind if I send you on an errand? I need you to go to my office. You're going to hack into the mainframe and you're going to retrieve all the recent shipping manifests. This is a lock chip. This'll get you in. It's probably under Executive Files. If not, they put it on a Ghost drive. If it is, you need to look for the lowest numeric heading." Tony tells Pepper as she looked at him with her eyes widened. She doesn't know how to hack into a computer or deal with computers. Well, she does, just not as technical as Mira and Tony.

"And what do you plan to do with this information if I bring it back here?" Pepper asked as she walked closer to the table where the chip was.

"Same drill. They've been dealing under the table, and I'm going to stop them. I'm going to find my weapons and destroy them." Tony says as he walks around the room.

"Tony, you do know that I would help you with anything, but I cannot help you if you are going to start all of this again." Pepper tells her boss and the father of Mira.

"There's nothing except this. There's no art opening. There is no benefit. There is nothing waiting to sign. This is the next mission and nothing else." Tony tells Pepper as she looks at him.

"Is that so? Well, then I quit." Pepper tells Tony as she walks towards the door.

"You stood by my side all these years while I reaped the benefits of destruction, and now that I, trying to protect the people that I put in harm's way, you're going to walk out like that." Tony says as he raised his voice a little at the woman in front of him. Meanwhile, Mira is watching this like it is some sort of drama show, which it is, just a really good one and it's ad free.

"You're going to kill yourself, Tony. I'm not going to be part of it." Pepper tells Tony.

"I shouldn't be alive, unless it was for a reason. I'm not crazy Pepper.  I just finally know what I have to do. And I know in my heart that it's right." Tony tells the woman who walked towards the table and taking the chip and walking out of the house and heading into Stark Industries and walked into Tony's office.
