I want to write a book based around the Titanic kind of like the James Cameron movie. But not the Titanic movie.

So far, all I have in my head are two people sitting on the top deck and looking at the stars. They are having a conversation about New York. One wants to go and the other doesn't but is going anyway because of a contract her father is too ill to oversee.

I'm thinking this could be a story about a (possibly) disillusioned son of a cowboy from Texas and the seamstress with wealthy parents back in England.

Would anyone read it? I'll tag a few people to see feedback from them. (Sorry if you don't like being tagged...)
