Skylar can come off as a bitch sometimes, and tough. When it comes to her friends and family, she's a sweetheart, goofball, and sometimes ridiculous. She prefers to bottle up her emotions like her father taught her and to keep some secrets from the others. She can be seductive when she wants to, something she learned from Isabelle. She is very protective of her family and friends that is the one thing that you don't mess with. Her father has had a big influence in her life, and not a good one...he knew how to hurt her in ways that she would never feel..that is something she doesn't like to speak about it. She may be seen as cut off in some conversations that she can't just open up in and would much rather not speak about.

Shadowhunters, also known as Nephilim, are a secretive race of beings who are humans born with angel blood. They have fought demons and lived alongside Downworlders in the Shadow World for well over a thousand years, creating their own culture and civilization within human society. Their mandate is to keep the peace in the Shadow World and keep it hidden from the mundane world while protecting the inhabitants of both worlds.

Just like her mother and sister, Skye is an artist but prefers to paint. Painting or having the gift of being an artist, leave the blonde at ease when she is stressed or when she picks up a paintbrush. It makes her feel happy, she is just as talented as her sister and mother...and doesn't show it off as Clary does. She keeps a stack of sketchbooks under her bed, from when she was little till now. She also loves to train, it's nothing but a stress reliever for it, simply to enjoy and become better. Her father taught her piano at a young age, and it may have been awful but...she always loved the sound of the piano and plays it when she is left alone.

‣ Skye has a short temper, one temper that resembles her father's temper. She tries her best to stay calm and not go off on people that she cares about. But it's easy to ruin her mood, to aggravate her or anger her in seconds.
‣ She's a perfectionist. The moment she notices something is off, especially when it comes to sketching, painting or drawing..it has to be perfect or else it will start to piss her off and annoy her all day long. It'll be the only thing that goes through her mind for days.
‣ Oblivious to others' feelings. There are times when Skye doesn't realize that she's hurt someone's feelings or someone is upset. She didn't really grow up around emotions and emotions being expressed all the time. So sometimes she doesn't realize.

Skylar spent half her childhood living with Valentine and her twin brother. He taught her plenty of awful things, and she had done anything he asked. This scared the little girl, she hated physical contact and was afraid of everything. When she turned 10, she had escaped thanks to a certain angel who had been watching over her. She ended up at Magnus Bane's apartment for a few years. Oh how much he loved and truly adored the little blonde. He managed to get through all the walls that she had, she was happy with the warlock..a feeling she haven't had for years. Since Magnus was the first person to actually get to know her, they've managed to have such a strong bond and one that wasn't going to break. Due to this change, she never actually bonded with her mother who always came to visit but she would hide under the bed. Jocelyn never had a chance to get to know her daughter and was unable to bond with her the way Magnus bonded with her. It upset Jocelyn a lot but she couldn't do much.
Magnus raised her as his own until she turned 13, he had decided to drop her off at The Institute to study and train like a shadowhunter. She befriended Alec, Jace, and Isabelle (her parabatai.) Living there, Skylnn became that same quiet girl just like she was when she first met Magnus. Isabelle basically forced her to speak, and soon forced her into these friendships with everyone else. But it was a good thing that Isabelle did, the two got along very well and were in sync which is why they turned out to be parabatai.

The angel's name is Seraphina, any information on this angel is buried away. The Clave believed that her story and her ways weren't what they wanted any shadowhunters to know. The Angel is known for her brutal and bloody way of life, she did come down often to slay greater demons that were difficult to kill. One day Lilith made a plan to capture this angel, and that was exactly what happened but before trapping her within a necklace forever. Lilith made a deal with Valentine, the man used a lot of this angel blood and placed it within his daughter unaware of what effects this amount of angel blood would do to his daughter.
