I know.... You guys probably saw the title and probably thought.... "Oh boy. Here we go with the Klance fanart..."

HA! YOU THOUGHT WRONG!!! instead it's Lancey Lance.

I saw this took me 3-5 hour.... Cause I used many references and took time with the coloring and figure. Oh. And to find the quote.

I listened to a lot of Klance music tho... The last 2 songs were warrior cat songs tho... Well... Songs from M.A.P.s.

Still I'm really proud, seeing as this was my first time drawing Voltron fanart. Well.. fanart in general. Everything else are just doodles from certain fandoms.

So guess you can say this is my first official fanart that I actually tried!

Anywho. I'll be posting the process as "proof" that I actually did draw it. And took 3-5 hours.... Cause I have nothing else to do with my life. (When you actually miss your ballet class cause of this fanart.)

Anywho, sketch first!

It's the base, which I did in pencil.

Next, I drew a few more details and traced it with a black pen. And erased the pencil that I started off with.

Next I colored in the figure to the right, add more details with color and a bit shading in the skin. I also outlined the figure in blue to show that it IS Lance and about the sadness he let's out when he dances.

I colored in the other figure, same as the other one, but this one's bending down. Again, more detail with color and shading.

Next is the wording. I honestly don't really like how it came out... But it's better than nothing. It also briefly explains the art.

And the final product! I colored the background blue to show that he's dancing in a pool of sadness. I also added some white highlighting.

And you may be wondering... WHERE IS HIS FACE!?

Calm down. I have an explanation.

When you see someone dancing, really the only thing you remember is their movements... Not their face. I also shows that if the other palidans see him dancing like that (movements slow, quiet, and sad) then they wouldn't think it was him. That's my reason....

Also... I tried put my signature on the left figures bum and leg.... Let's just say it looks like he's pooping or something. I regret it...

*Sigh.* I'll just leave it like that. By the way... It took 20 minutes to post this.
