C17- ☆Touch☆

Akaza was different from most demons that Nao has encountered. She remembered how they would always run towards her when she was small as if she was the most appetizing snack in their eyes. Nao didn't know it back then but she later discovered she was a marechi. It would explain the fact why most demons lunge for her even though there were many other humans surrounding the place.

Akaza, being an upper moon didn't seem affected at all even when Nao accidentally cut herself.

She placed the finger on her mouth, enduring the small stinging sensation that the wound gave off. Her eyes glanced towards her watcher who was silent almost all the time. He also didn't seemed bother by the fact that she was bleeding.

Most of the time that is. Other times, he would suddenly make remarks of his own.

"Idiot. If Muzan-sama finds out you're injured, he would be very displeased." Akaza answered her when Nao curiously eyed the handkerchief he handed to her. Nao wondered where he got it but she graciously took it instead and flashed the demon a smile.

Akaza was a demon but even though he wasn't human and he could probably kill her in an instant, he didn't seem like he was going to harm her. He didn't give any murderous aura like most and he seemed somewhat gentle towards her despite his harsh tone.

"Thank you. "Nao muttered as she bandaged the small cut on her hand. It had been a while since she started sewing again and because she was locked up inside this place, Nao tried all kinds of means to distract herself.

Even though Akaza seemed harmless, Nao refused to believe the fact that he wouldn't hurt her.

He was still a demon and Nao can still remember her past traumatic experiences with demons who crave for her.

Blood shot eyes, pale skin and elongated fangs.

Even the mere thought of remembering made her shiver.

Days passed and as Nao continued to try and find ways to distract herself, Muzan came back.

Her first thought was : I missed him.

Nao missed him.

The second was: I really missed him.

Greatly.

And third was: I'm glad.

Nao could not imagine being all alone in such a foreign place with nothing to be familiar of.

Nao never liked this feeling. The loneliness was enough to make her insane and so it really is no surprised when she did the unexpected.

Nao ran towards Muzan and hugged his waist. She rested her head on his chest as she clung to him. And with a shaky tone, she spoke to him in a whisper, lips trembling deliriously.

"Don't leave me again." Nao admitted as her voice shook. Nao was not scared of many things. With Kagaya as her brother and with their parents being strict, she could not afford any weakness.

But Nao was human, very much so and it is human nature to fear something, to be afraid and feel helpless.

Nao feared being alone. It's one of the reasons why she refused the idea of being a demon. What's the purpose of eternity when you're going to spend it all alone?

Nao felt Muzan embraced her back and she savored the warmth and safety she felt in his arms.

It was so ironic of her to do this when Nao felt so displeased at the fact that he touched her and caressed her skin and body without her consent.

But being in such a strange place without any idea of what time it is or where it was, Nao could only cling to Muzan, who was the only person who knew the answers. And the fact that he was the only one so familiar to her in such a place kept her comfort.

When he told her he was going to leave, Nao felt shameless but she still asked him to stay... No, she almost begged him to stay. But he managed to reassure her with his words and embrace. And because Nao is weak for him, she could not do anything but nod silently.

But deep inside, Nao was trying her best not to sob.

"Don't cry." Nao heard Muzan say but it only made her bury her face on his clothes to hide her crying face.

"Y-you left.. and I waited." She sobbed. "I don't want to be alone. I thought Muzan forgot about me.." He placed a hand on her hair, softly stroking her head to comfort her.

"I would never forget about Nao-san."

"But you left me!" She accused him, gripping his clothes tighter with her hands.

"I needed to finish something."

Nao pulled away and she wiped the tears with the back of her hand.

"I understand. "Nao muttered as she cast her eyes downward."Something else is much more important."

Muzan placed a hand on her cheek and slowly stroked her skin using his thumb.

"Yes. But Nao-san is also important. Very, very important. I can't imagine a life without you."

Thump. Thump. Thump.

Goes the beat of her heart.

Nao bit her lower lip as she finally decided to met his gaze.

"Does Muzan ..." She slowly began as she played with her fingers in a nervous attempt to hide her panic.

"... like me?"

When she was met with silence, Nao could feel her cheeks heating up at how shameless her question must've sounded.

She opened her mouth to speak.

"I'm sor--"

"Mimi."

Nao felt her back straightened at his low voice that seemed really deep at the moment.

Muzan only calls her Mimi when he's feeling strongly about certain things.

His delayed answer made her even more nervous and somehow, he spoke her name in such a sensual manner. Or was Nao being delusional?

She really didn't know. Especially when it's Muzan.

Nao could feel her heart beating against her chest and as she waited for an answer, she was met with his eyes staring intensely at her.

His hand reached out and rested on her hips. Nao allowed him to pull her closer and no matter how many times she felt like screaming at herself for letting him do it, she found herself losing her voice.

Nao felt his other hand move and she remained fixated on his eyes, his beautiful plum red eyes as he slipped his fingers on the back of her neck.

Her lips parted slightly at his action. Nao could feel the the hand resting on her hips lifting itself. Instead, she found herself intertwining hands with him.

He softly squeezed their joined hands as he slowly leaned closer.

Nao was not stupid and naive. Nao actually knows a lot about relationships and isn't clueless unlike what most people think.

She knows that couples hold hands, go on dates, hugs and kisses each other because they are comfortable on showing that kind of intimacy between them.

Nao never had a lover before because her brother was very strict when it came to the men in her life. So even if Nao knows what it means to have a lover, she lacks the experience.

But even if Nao was inexperienced, she could clearly tell that Muzan was a great kisser.

Happy Halloween-- ah fuck. So I updated chapter 17.

Finally, the long awaited kiss.

I'm still having second thoughts with the lemon because Nao is 19 and Muzan is 1000000--

I think I got the digits wrong.

Lol.

He's one thousand years old for Peter's sake. If it was me, I wouldn't mi--

I mean, I'm considering it.
