This is a poem I wrote for school! I happen to really like it! Hope you guys enjoy my short, little poem!

We find ourselves going on and on

Into a never-ending darkness.

I don't know who's with me,

Yet I know he is there.

I try to call out,

But no reply is there.

He runs with me in my darkest dreams.

I just have never seen his face.

I know his eyes would soothe me

Even if he leaves no trace.

I have never felt alone when I'm with him.

He runs with his gaze on me.

His eyes are large solar eclipses.

My heart tries to link with his.

Even if I'm running,

Running for my life.

His presence will surround me.

Stuck in eternal darkness.

Just my shadow and me.
