"It's my turn! I draw!" Ryan cried, drawing a card and speeding up with his motorcycle. Anya boosted her motorcycle to keep up with Ryan.
"I'll begin by Pendulum Summoning Mechan Scythe and Possessed Sword back from the Extra Deck. I'll then activate Pot of Greed to draw 2 cards!"
Ryan looked at the two cards he'd picked up and smiled.
"I'll now Normal summon Golem's Hammer in Attack mode!" Ryan yelled back to Anya, placing down his monster.

Golem's Hammer (1700 Atk|2400 Def) Level 4, Earth, Ghost

"I'll now activate the spell Blacksmith's Twins, which allows me to use Golem's Hammer as two Link Markers. I'll now use Golem to Link Summon! Come forth Link-2 Joy Gunner!" Ryan called, slamming the cards onto his duel disk like a mad man!

"Geez Ryan, I hate it when you get like this," Anya complained.
"Oh, sorry. I guess I was getting too in character. My bad," Ryan apologized," Anyways, Joy Gunner's effect, it destroys one monster it's linked to, and deals you damage equal to its level times 100. My level 5 Possessed Sword and your Level 4 Chocolate will deal you 900 points of damage."

"Nice move but now you've lost one of you best monsters," Anya taunted.
"Well, he'll be back," Ryan joked. Anya couldn't help but let out a little chuckle.
"Now Joy Gunner attacks Lemon Magician Girl!" Ryan called out.
"Ah, you must have forgotten too then. When Lemon Magician Girl is targeted for attack, I special summon a Spellcaster from my hand, and I choose Berry Magician Girl. Now you Attack her and Joy Gunner's Attack is halved," Anya said with power in her voice.

"But now that your attacking Berry," Anya continued," she switches to Defense Mode and summons another Magician Girl from my Deck. Here comes Lunar Magician Girl!"

"Lunar Magician Girl can only be summoned by a Magician Girl's effect, and her attack is equal to the number of Magician Girl's in the graveyard times 400, giving her a total attack of 1200," Anya told Ryan. He was shocked, having never seen this card before.
"Yes, but I'll still be taking out Berry!" Ryan exclaimed.
"Yeah but now Lunar gains 400 more Attack bringing her to 1600!" Anya cried with joy.

"I'll banish Giant's Hammer to activate its effect. After successfully destroying a monster, by banishing this card, it can be used with any other monster to link summon during the battle phase. So I'll use him and Joy Gunner to Link Summon Full-Auto Cannoneer," Ryan proclaimed!

"I'll now use Mechan Scythe, to Attack Lunar Magician Girl!" Ryan commanded his monster. Both monsters proceed to destroy each other. "When a monster linked to Full-Auto Cannoneer, you lose 100 life Points!"
"Ugh! I've always hated that little effect. And Lunar was in its Link Marker too," Anya complained.

Anya: 1200 -> 1000

"Now Full-Auto will launch right into Dark Magician Girl!" Ryan shouted, turning around to look at Anya's face as most of her field was wiped out. He immediately regretted it seeing how determined she was to try and pummel him.

Anya: 1000 -> 700

"Well now you seem to be having fun," Anya said intimidatingly. Ryan flinched back and kept his eyes on the road ahead of him. Anya sped up to become neck and neck with Ryan. "Come on. At least look me in the eye as you win," Anya said to Ryan as menacingly as she could.
"Stop trying to scare me, it's not gonna help you," Ryan told Anya, hoping for her to stop.
"I'm not trying though, your already scared!" Anya bragged.
"Well not anymore, I end my turn." Ryan said grumpily.
"Well then I shall draw!" Anya spoke with passion.

"I'll start by normal summoning Rainbow Magician Girl by sending the top 5 cards of my deck to the graveyard. Apple Magician Girl, Dark Magic Ritual, Summoning Circle, Lemon Magician Girl, and Hybridization are sent to my grave yard now," Anya told Ryan.

Rainbow Magician Girl (0 Atk|3000 Def) Level 8, Light, Spellcaster

"Apple Magician Girl now allows me to return another Apple, Dark, and Kiwi Magician Girls to my hand," Anya called out.
"Well my Temporal GeR still destroys that Rainbow Magician Girl!" Ryan yelled at Anya, beginning to laugh at her for her mistake.
"Sorry bud, but Rainbow Magician Girl can't be destroyed by battle or card effect!" Anya called back at him, beginning to now speed ahead of him. Ryan revved his engine more to gain speed, not wanting to be left behind.
"I'll now activate Rainbow's effect, which steals the effect of any monster in the graveyard. I choose Berry's effect allowing me to add another Magician Girl to my hand," Anya explained.
"Also I end my turn," Anya quickly added.
"But why leave your monsters in attack mode?" Ryan asked Anya, as she played off a shocked impression.
"Oh shoot! I forgot!" Anya exclaimed. Ryan laughed at her a bit.
"Perfect," Anya thought," He'll fall right into my trap now."

"I draw!" Ryan shouted, finally catching up to Anya's pace. The sun was finally rising, beginning to clear the dark sky.
"I'll begin by Pendulum Summoning once more! Come back Mechan Scythe and Possessed Sword! But they won't be here for long because I use the spell Blast Radius!" Ryan yelled excitedly.
"Not that spell! It destroys all of our monsters!" Anya cried out.
"Actually, monsters in the Extra Monster Zone are fine," Ryan said calmly while wiping out his own monsters as well as Lemon Magician Girl.
"Rainbow steals Berry's effect, allowing her to switch to defense mode and special summon Dark Magician Girl," Anya quickly said before the blast destroyed Rainbow.

Anya: 700 -> 500

"And since I have both Dark Magician and Magician of Black Chaos in my graveyard, Dark Magician Girl gains 1000 Atk!" Anya said with enthusiasm.
"Why are you so enthusiastic Anya?" Ryan asked her.
"Because you can't destroy any of my monsters," Anya replied, looking happy.
"Well you just have forgotten about Time GeR. That attack buff is denied!" Ryan said, shutting down Anya's happy facade. Ryan quickly turned to make a face at Anya. She gave him an annoyed look back.

"It's about time we finish this," Ryan began," Go Full Auto! Destroy Dark Magician Girl! Win this duel!"
"Your so naive, Ryan," Anya said, smirking and chuckling.
"Why?" Ryan asked confused.
"By discarding Kiwi, Dark Magician and Rainbow Magician Girls gain 300 Attack and Defense for every Magician Girl in the Graveyard and field. That's a total of 11 and a 3300 Attack and Defense Boost!" Anya shouted, power surging into Rainbow and Dark Magician Girls.

"And if I can interrupt myself, that's enough for me to win," Anya said taunting Ryan.
"I can't believe I fell for your traps again!" Ryan yelled, watching Dark Magician Girl destroy Full Auto Cannoneer. His motorcycle began swerving to a stop as Anya sped ahead, signifying her victory.

Anya eventually stopped, letting Ryan catch up to her, and they both went back to the main square. They sat at a bench near the card shop and talked.
"Geez! Those cards you added really threw me off today. Rainbow is awesome!" Ryan said all pumped.
"Well, I knew you'd prepare to counter me so I had to spice up my strategy, instead of using the same thing over and over again like you with your Pendulum Link stuff," Anya said teasing Ryan.
"What do you mean, it's a very liable strategy in today's meta!" Ryan yelled back.
"Ok, stop avoiding it though, Ryan. I won so pay up," Anya commanded.
"Jeez, fine. I know your busy schedule so I won't keep you longer," Ryan said handing a wad of cash to Anya.
"Anyways, I'll be off to work now. You know how it always is," Anya told Ryan before hopping on her motorcycle.
"Yeah. Same time next week?" Ryan asked.
"Sure, I'll do my best to fit it in my schedule," Anya replied with a snarky attitude.
"Ok, now get outta here. You've gotta work!" Ryan yelled at her, jokingly.
"Alright, see ya!" Anya said happily before driving off. She followed the dirt road and hopped back on the highway. She made her way into the city for work.

Later....

"Hey ma! I'm home!" Anya called out, walking through her front door. The sun made the rose oak shine through the retracting paint job.
"Oh welcome home sweetie," Anya's mother said, walking into the dining room from the kitchen," How was the restaurant today?"
"Oh, I got a lot of tips for the morning shift," Anya said, pulling out the wad of dollars Ryan gave her as well as another stack, which were tips Anya got from the restaurant she worked at.
"Honey, you work so hard to keep this place afloat. You should really keep some money for yourself though," Anya's mother said.
"I did keep a bit, but this is our house and we should take care of it together," Anya said confidently yet in a relaxed manor.
"My my, your so mature for your age, baby," Anya's mom told her.
"I'm not a baby anymore Mom. I can take care of the both of us," Anya playfully argued.
"You'll always be my little baby though, Anya. You'll never not be," Anya's mom spoke softly.
"Anyways," Anya said trying to change the subject," I've got off tonight so I'm gonna go hit the hay now to get up bright and early!" Anya said with pride as she began to march up to her room.
"Ok sweetie! I'll pack you something to eat for tomorrow then!" Anya's mom called up after her.
"Ok! Thanks mom!" Anya called back down before entering her room and making sure the door was shut behind her. She walked over to her bed and shoved her deck back into the secret compartment. She got into bed wear and laid down, drifting off to sleep.
