Damian's POV

Monday afternoon Demi and I arrived at the arena. We got our script and I see....

"Fuck. I better call y/n," I said as Demi groans.

"Seriously we have to be hit with a crutch?" she said to herself.

"I will be back," I said as I grabbed my phone. She nods as I head outside to call y/n.

She answered in a two rings "Babe?" she said "Only reason for a call this early is something is going to happen tonight that I won't be thrilled with."

I rubbed a hand down my face "Yeah. I have to be hit by a crutch by Liv," I said and I hear a small huff at the other end "Babe?"

"That little bitch hurts you or Demi. I swear to God. I am ripping that bitch's blonde hair from her little head," she said.

"Babe. She will be careful. I promise," I said.

"Well just warn her. Next time I see her that if she hurts you I won't be as friendly," she said.

"I think she knows," I said with a small chuckle.

Y/N huffs again "I don't like this," she said "Look how she hit Demi with the damn chair. Right upside her head. She wasn't careful then," she said and that was true. She wasn't actually supposed to chuck it at Demi's head and she did "So the little bitch has proven she can't be safe."

"I will protect myself and Demi. Okay," I said.

Y/N grumbles "Okay."

"Can I talk to Becky?" I asked.

"Fine," she said "Becky. Luis wants to talk to you."

I hear the phone exchange hands and then I hear an Irish accent "Hi mate," she said.

"Becky?" I said.

"Yes. What's up?" she asked. I explained what is happening.

"Just make sure she actually doesn't hop on a plane and track her down," I said, Becky chuckled.

"I think I can manage it," she said.

"Thanks. I'm glad she isn't alone tonight," I said.

"She won't be. Don't worry," said Becky "I know she will pace like a caged animal until she hears back from you after that segment."

"I know. I know," I groan "And Becky?"

"Yeah?" she said and I could hear the wince in her voice.

"They're gonna say I have been taken to a local medical facility. Please don't allow her to go scorched earth," I said.

"You know your girl well," she said.

"Back of my hand," I chuckled "But please. She will. Calm her down. If you and Colby have to sit on her do it."

Becky laughed "Luis. I don't think she'll go that far. Now if you were in Orlando I couldn't guarantee jack squat. But you're over two thousand miles away. By the time she got there you guys would be home."

"Give me back to y/n. I think I know a way to calm her crazy ass," I said with a smirk.

"I can hear the smirk in your voice mate. Take it easy," she laughed and I did too.

"Just give me back to her por favor."

" Y/N. Luis wants you," said Becky and I hear the phone exchange hands again.

"Hola," said y/n.

"Baby. You. Me. Frozen Hot Chocolate and turkey club sandwich on Tuesday. Just the two of us."

"Promise?" she said and I hear the smile in her voice.

"Guarantee," I said "And Baby?"

"Yes Papi," she whispers.

"Te amo mucho mi amor y mi corazón," I said. (I love you very much my love and my heart.)

"A la luna y las estrellas y de regreso," she said. (To the moon and stars and back)

"Baby. I gotta go. Meeting in ten. Tell Roux. I will read the book with her when I get home if she wants," I said.

"Okay," she said and I know she had a smile a mile wide "Bye Baby. Be careful. Protect your head and Demi's too."

"I will Mariposa," I said "See you in one sleep."

"See you in one sleep," she said back.

" Baby we gotta hang up."

"You first," she said.

"No you," I said.

" N-" all I got was a dial tone. I chuckled as I immediately get a text.

Colby hung up. Not me. Becky, Gibbs slapped him.

I chuckled and wrote back.

He deserves a Gibbs slap. 😂

after my segment I promise.

I slipped my phone into my pocket and returned into the arena.

"Everything okay?" asked Demi as I came into the small clubhouse they had for the Terror Twins.

"Fine. I think I managed to make sure y/n doesn't go scorched earth," I said.

"As long as Gionna doesn't hurt you. You have nothing to worry about."

"Hermosa you are on her I will go scorched Earth list too."

Demi smiled "She is on mine too," she said.

" Becky said she'll make sure she is as calm as possible."

"She is a braver woman than I am. I have seen y/n when she is angry and she's mean."

I chuckled "Oh you only saw a momentary glance of it. I have had to pick her up and carry her from a restaurant," I said.

Demi laughed "I remember she was ready to punch someone who said something off color towards me but I put them in their place as I held her back."

My heart thudded against my chest as I waited for my segment to begin. Fergal and I are at gorilla waiting for our cues. Fergal could see something was off.

"You alright?" he asked as I glanced over at him "Shit. Y/N?" he said.

I nod "You know her even better than me," I said.

He turned to look at Gionna "Hurt him," he pointed to me "You're dead."

She laughed "By who?" she said rolling her eyes.

"Y/N," said Dominik.

"Oh please. She would not hurt me," she said waving her hand "She's to nice."

Fergal shook his head "I don't think you understand. She has certain people on her I will scorch the earth if you harm them list. It's a short list but he," again he gestures to me "is on the top of the list. You harm a single strand of hair on his head and she would not think twice of unleashing an actual demon on you. I have seen her angry only a handful of times if that and she doesn't hold back. We were in Ireland back when we were in our early twenties. Some guy made the mistake of shoving me. Before I could react she dropped him with one slug to the jaw. Before she unleashed swears that would make a sailor blush."

I smirk "My little hellcat," I said.

Gionna looked frightened "She wouldn't do that."

"Just saying be careful when you swing that crutch. Because I know enough not to be in y/n's way if she sees you if you actually harm Luis," said Fergal.

She gulped "Well great. So if I actually hurt you. I'm fucked?" she asked.

"Demi also," I said "You have to be a lot more careful then when you threw the chair at Demi."

"That was an accident!" said Gionna.

"It wasn't the first time you actually almost hurt someone with a foreign object," said Dominik "You tend to be a bit chaotic with them. You need to protect people just as they do you."

Y/N's POV

We watched as Finn came out. I knew they were setting up Damian Priest verses Finn Balor but knowing how this segment was going had my stomach in knots.

My leg is bouncing as Becky and Colby sat on either side of me. Becky held one hand and Colby the other as my anxiety shot through the roof.

"It is going to be okay," soothed Becky as she used her free hand to hold my leg.

"Becky you saw what happened with Demi when she chucked that chair," I said.

"I know. We all saw it. But I promise you Luis will be okay," she said "He has plenty of angels on his side to make sure of that."

I gave her a half hearted smile "I sure do hope so."

"Y/N," said Colby "It will be okay. Say it with me. It," Becky shoots him a look and he shut up. She knew I was having an anxiety attack and she knew it grinds my gears to have someone say that and try to make me say it back.

We watched the segment and the hits made me whimper with ever blow. I am actually in tears as they held Damian and hit him repeatedly. I let out a prolonged sob. Becky is rubbing my back.

"Just ring phone," I heard Colby beside me as the commercials started "Damnit ring."

Damian's POV

Once I got to the back. Demi and I were sore but luckily not hurt. I sat on the small sofa in the area they had set up for the Terror Twins. I grabbed my phone and called y/n immediately.

She answered immediately "Luis," she sniffled.

"I'm okay. Sore but I'm okay," I said.

"S-s-s-so you're not hurt?" she sniffled.

"Baby are you alone?" I asked "We can FaceTime."

"Excuse me," I heard y/n tell Becky and Colby whose voices were muffled but I could hear them say it's okay. I heard footsteps both human and padded and a door open and close "Okay. I am alone."

"Hang up and let me call back, " She did and I immediately called her requesting FaceTime. She answered instantly and her face swam onto my screen. Her eyes puffy from crying "Baby," I sighed.

"Hi," she whispered as she wipes away tears and I can see the sleeves of my former hoodie.

"Come on dry those eyes. See your Cariño is alright," I smile "Sore. But alright."

"I will feel better once I get to touch you and see for myself," she murmured.

"Amor," I said as she was tearing my heart in two as I couldn't comfort her.

"Luis. I'm sorry," she sniffled.

"Honey. It's okay. I love how you're so protective and how you feel with your entire being."

"I try to," she said with a small laugh.

I chuckled lightly "You're my world. I hope you know that."

"I do," said y/n softly "And you're mine."

"Man. I wish I could hold you tonight," I said.

"I wish I could be your nurse tonight," she smiled softly and I smirked.

"I mean you could be my nurse tomorrow," I wink.

"Now if we had a sound proof room I would," she said a smirk painting her face.

"Maybe we can figure something out," I said with a wink.

"Just as long as I still get my frozen hot chocolate," she giggles.

I shook my head "Baby. I promised you that didn't I?" I asked.

"Yes," she said.

"And have I ever broke a promise to you?" I asked. She shook her head 'no' "Then I am not going to start now. Baby. I'm going to shower and see if I can change my flight home so I can get home earlier than I was going to. I will let you know," I smiled at her and she blushed "I love you Mariposa."

"I love you cariño," she said.

"I'm going to hang up now," I said.

She nodded lightly "Together?" she said.

I nod and we hung up together.

I let out a slow groan as I stood and slipped my phone into my pocket as I head to the locker room. Demi stopping me on the way.

"Y/N okay?" she asked her face wincing in pain.

"She's a wreck. Are you okay Demi?" I asked.

"Sore. But overall okay," she said.

"Good. I am going to go grab a shower and see if I can get home sooner with y/n being a wreck. I want to be back to her sooner rather than later."

Demi smiled "Go," she said "I will see you later this week."

I nod "See you later."
