*Third person pov*

Remus couldn't stop thinking about them if his life depended on it. He stayed in his room for most of the day, came out to get food or water, then went back. He couldn't let anyone ask about it. If someone did all they got was a snarl from Remus.

He sighed in his room and stared at the ceiling, lying on his bed. He stayed like that for about fifteen minutes before rolling over to his side, "mngh.." He muttered. Why did he feel this way? No one knew. Not even him. He tossed and turned on his bed, trying to find a comfortable sleeping position. Nothing worked, "Ugh...." He muttered and tried to sleep again.

Then he heard a knock on his door, "Remus...are you in there..?" It was Janus.

Janus was like a parent, or older brother to Remus. Or even, like a really close cousin.

Remus sat up and curled in a ball, "Re..hun...please open the door.." Janus begged. Nothing. Slowly, he opened the door.

Janus slowly walked up to Remus, being very careful with his pace, "Remus..whats wrong...?" He asked in a calm, comforting voice, kneeling down next to him.

All Remus gave him was a quiet whine, "You can tell me... I won't judge you. You know that.." He tried again. Finally Janus sighed, "You really don't want to tell me..?" He asked softly. Remus looked up st him and shook his head, "That's fine.. Please don't stay in here forever. If you need me, you know where to find me." He slowly stood up and walked to his room.

Remus didn't know what to do. He really did want to tell Janus, but he couldn't bring himself too. He was too scared of being judged.

That happened a lot in the mind palace. Remus and Roman would be arguing, then out of no where, Roman was picking on him. He hated it. He hated his brother. That's why Janus and him are so close.

After a few minutes of standing outside of Janus' room, having a silent panic attack, Remus finally knocked, "Who is it?" Janus asked. Remus hesitated, "R-Re.." He choked out. Janus opened the door, "What's up?" The snake like side asked.

"Oh..um...its not important! Nevermin-" he got interrupted by Janus grabbing his arm softly, "Please tell me, Remus."  Janus said softly.

Remus sighed, accepting his fate. Janus was one of the most stubborn sides, along with Roman and Patton. You can't change his mind even if you try.

"Rem. Please tell me what's up.." The snake like side asked of him. They slowly walked over to Janus' bed to talk about what was bothering Remus.

Janus put Remus' hair behind his ear, "Will you tell me what's wrong now..?" He asked in a soft, gentle voice. Remus hesitated, "It's..it's hard to explain..." Remus muttered. The yellow side sighed.

"Fine..you don't have to tell me. I just wanted to get something of your chest..." Janus said and smiled softly. This made Remus feel bad, "Wait. I'll tell you..just dont tell anyone else...please." He asked in a nervous voice.

"Of course Remus.." Janus promised. He couldn't lie to Remus, if he tried, it would hurt him an excessive amount. So he tried not to lie to Remus as much as possible. Unless Janus was protecting Remus, he almost never lied to him.

"W-well..i have feelings for someone..." Remus said nervously. Janus wasn't surprised. Remus was an emotional side. So it made sense.

"Who would that be?" Janus asked softly. Remus winced, "(Y-Y/n)" He choked out. Janus smiled at Remus, "Yeah. I could tell. Why didn't you tell me sooner?" He asked.

Remus sighed, "I guess..i just thought you would judge me like everyone else would." Remus said and chuckled. Janus hugged Remus.

"Where on earth did you get that idea?" Janus asked. Remus slowly hugged back, "I-I don't know.." He muttered. Janus let go and smiled, "You should've told me sooner. I can help you." He told Remus.

Remus returned the smile, "Thanks Jan." "Anytime Re.."
