\\ SATURDAY //

Castiel woke up at morning feeling extremely nervous. Today was going to be a busy day.

He had to go shopping with Charlie for god knows what. And she was going to take him to that party.

And Dean had asked Castiel to go somewhere with him today.

It was already around noon. Castiel rolled put of bed and hopped into the shower.

He wrapped a towel around his waist and walked into his room. He began grabbing a change of clothes when his phone rang.

Castiel brought it up to his ear and answered.

"Hello?" He asked.

"Cas? Hey!" Dean was heard from the other side of the line.

"Yea Dean it's me...do you need anything?" He asked Dean.

"Yea um...I was just calling to tell you that I'll be at your place to pick you up at around five."

"Yea...okay that's fine...bye." He said and they both hung up.

Castiel glanced at the clock. It was around 12:30. He had plenty of time.

He walked downstairs and grabbed something to eat.

What should he do? Anna was at work. Gabriel was still sleeping. Gabriel! Where would he stay? Anna was going to work almost all day today.

Maybe he would stay with Sam until she got home.

He walked into the living room and switched on the tv. He surfed through the channels until he found one of his favorite shows. Sherlock.

He enjoyed all the crime solving he and John did together. And it was obvious they were gay for each other, no matter how much John said he wasn't gay.

The detective wasn't that bad either. He was very good looking. Those cheekbones. And the way he popped his collar up. No wonder everyone fell for him.

After two episodes Gabriel ran downstairs and jumped on Castiel's back.

"Morning Cassie!" He smiled widely.

Castiel smiled and pushed Gabriel off.

"Good morning Gabriel. Uh we need to talk."

Gabriel sat across from his brother and pulled out a chocolate bar.

"What about?" He asked chewing on the sweet treat.

"Well I'm going out soon. Around five. I don't know when I'll be back...but you know Anna is working all day today...and I have no where to leave you." He explained.

Gabriel munched on another piece of chocolate and thought for a moment.

"I could stay with Sam!" He smiled widely.

Castiel smiled and nodded.

"Okay so at around five when Dean comes to pick me up, we'll drop you off at his place."

Gabriel nodded and ran upstairs to his room.

After a few hours Castiel called Anna.

"Cassie? What is it?" She asked.

"Anna I'm just calling to tell you that I'm going out with a friend and then a party...and Gabriel will be at a friends house..." he said.

"Okay sure. Just don't come home too late. Who is this friend?" She asked.

"Well mine is Dean and Gabe is his younger brother Sam..." he began.

"Ohhhh Cassie! Dean! Have fun with him!" He could here her smiling.

Castiel blushed and rolled his eyes.

"Whatever Anna. Bye."

"Bye."

A few minutes later someone knocked on the door.

Castiel ran towards the door and swung it open. Dean stood on the other side with a huge smile.

"Hey Cas!" He smiled, placing his hands in his pockets.

Castiel smiled and looked down.

"Dean I need to ask a favor before we go."

"Sure...anything."

Castiel looked behind him and sighed.

"I need to um...well Gabriel has no where to stay and I don't want him to be alone in the house. I don't care if he's already in high school and stuff but I was wondering if-" he was cut of when Dean laughed.

"Don't worry Cas, we'll take him to my place to hang with Sam. You know how well they're getting alone. Besides I really like to see Sammy smiling more. More than I could ever make him smile. Your brother is great." He smiled.

Castiel nodded before turning towards the house.

"Gabriel! Time to go!" He called. There was some shuffling heard and Gabriel came running downstairs carrying a duffle bag.

"What's in the bag?" They both asked the smaller boy.

"Just some sweets and Doctor Who series I'm bringing to watch with Sam." He beamed.

They laughed and walked over to the Impala.
Dean started the engine and drove towards his house.

Dean walked up to his house with Gabriel as Castiel waited in the car.

Bobby opened the door and let Gabe inside.

Castiel checked the mirror to see if he looked presentable. He checked his teeth. He messed with his hair, trying to control it.

He managed to tame some of his bed hair. His teeth were clean. He pulled out a pack of mints and plopped a few in his mouth.

Dean soon stepped into the car and started the engine.

"Ready Cas?" He asked pulling out of the parking space.

Castiel nodded and looked at his freind.

"So where are you taking me? If I may ask..."

Dean smiled and began to drive off.

"That's a surprise my dear Castiel."

Castiel blushed at what Dean had said. He slowly nodded and looked out the window. He wondered what would happen. At wherever Dean was taking him and the party. What was Charlie planning?

Dean pulled up to a small diner and stepped out, running over to Castiel's side of the car and opening the door for him.

Castiel smiled and stepped out, following Dean into the diner.

Dean walked over to a booth and sat. Castiel sat down across from him. He looked over at the woman cooking behind a counter.

"Ellen!" He smiled widely.

She turned around and smiled.

"Dean! How are you boy?" She laughed.

"I'm fine! How's business?"

She smiled and continued cooking.

"It's okay Dean. It's alright. " she sighed.

Dean nodded and a young girl with blonde hair walked up to them holding a pen and a small notebook.

"Hey Dean! Here are you? The usual?" She smiled a him.

Dean smiled and looked at Castiel.

"Yea...except make it double. And extra fries. Castiel, what type of milkshake would you like?" He smiled at him.

Castiel looked around the diner and found a small menu with various milkshake names listed.

"I'll just have a regular vanilla thanks..."

The girl smiled and wrote it down.

"I'm Jo by the way." She smiled before walking back to the counter.

Castiel smiled and nodded. Dean was still staring at him.

He looked at him and their eyes locked.

The both blushed, but didn't look away.

They stared at each other...it seemed like forever until Jo came back and set two plates in front of them.

"Two pecan pies, an extra order of fries, and two milkshakes, one vanilla, and one double chocolate fudge with extra whipped cream and chocolate syrup. Here ya both go." Jo smiled at them.

"Thanks Jo," Dean smiled at her, breaking their eye contact.

Castile looked at Dean's milkshake.

"That's a lot of chocolate Dean." He laughed.

Dean chucked and took a sip, "Yea, but hell it's heaven!"

Castiel took a sip of his and cut up a piece of his pie with a fork.

Dean finished his pie quickly and moved onto the fries.

"Best food in the world." He smiled at Castiel.

Castiel blushed and returned the smile.

They finished their trip to the diner at around 7:30.

They paid Jo and Ellen and walked out back to the Impala.

The sat in silence for a while before Dean looked right into Castiel's eyes.

Castiel blushed darkly, but again didn't look away.

"So, you enjoyed this little date of ours?" Dean smirked.

Castiel nodded, "Yes Dean. I enjoyed it very much."

Dean nodded and then there was silence once again.

Castiel found himself leaning closer to Dean. His friend did the same.

They were centimeters apart. Cas could feel Dean's breath on his lips.

The space was about to be closed. One of them just had to lean in-

Castiel jumped back at the sound of his phone ringing.

Dean coughed and looked away.

Castile pulled his phone out of his pocket. He checked the caller i.d.

Charlie.

He answered and brought the phone up to his ear.

"Hello?" He asked looking away from Dean.

"Hey! What's up? Okay so I am ready for you to come over and we shall begin the shopping!"

"S-shopping?" Castiel sighed, "fine fine...just I'll be there in a few."

"Okay! I'll be waiting. Bye!" She yelled before hanging up.

Castiel put the phone away and stared at his hands.

Dean quickly glanced at him before looking away.

Castiel looked out of the window.

"Dean...?" He asked slowly looking at him.

"Yea Cas?" He responded not facing Castiel.

"Could you drop me off at Charlie's? Please?"

Dean nodded and began driving to the boy in the trench coat's destination.
