chapter 16 - Our Decay

From 5.15 "The Brothers Jones", in Hades' lair, One of the pages showed an illustration of Lisa and Blake with a strange looking staff with their power combined in a brutal show down.

Freya/Priscilla: (voice over) "Previously on Worlds Colliding (Once Upon a Time)."

Hades flipped to another page, which showed an illustration of himself with Zelena, sighing. "Zelena. My secrets remain safe. And I can't believe you've kept me a secret from your own daughter Faye. No more secrets soon."

From 5.15 "The Brothers Jones", in the Hatter House, everyone was talking.

"The Author's pen?" Mathias asked.

"They're gonna recreate his story," Derek told them.

From 5.14 "Devil's Due", in Hades' lair, Hades was speaking to Gold. "Belle's pregnant. Just like Tori is, with Mathias's kid, Saphira and Faye's little brother. I own your daughter now, your third born child, Freya. I can break her any time I want, keep her down here forever, and make sure she really loses herself to the madness inside her. I knew you were gonna try to get Freya away from me as soon as you found out that I had this contract, which is why I put her name on the stone to make sure you can't save her. And I put Alcina, Rose and Grace's names on the stones as well, because each time you disobey me or try to save your family, you're gonna lose one more of them. If you want to save your family, by marriage or blood alike, you work for me."

Day - Castle

It was Faye's birthday, and she was spending it with Zelena and a cupcake.

Zelena wasn't paying attention to the day or to Faye, watching through their mirror to see Young Cora abandon her as a baby, angrily stopping the scene. "You gave away the wrong child, Mother. Soon, you'll see. Soon."

"Could you please not worry about that right now?" Faye asked. "You know what day it is."

Zelena sighed, walking closer. "I'm sorry, Faye."

Faye ignored her, not in the celebrating mood, blowing out her candle. "You do this every year."

"I'll try to be better," Zelena told her.

Faye pointed at her, tilting her head. "You say that every year."

The door suddenly banged open, and a flying monkey entered, carrying the scarecrow as a prisoner.

Scarecrow was struggling desperately. "Whoa, no, no, no, no, no!"

The scarecrow landed on the floor with a thud.

Faye walked closer. "Well, isn't this nice?"

The scarecrow stood. "W-w-what do you want?"

"Why, you, of course," Faye answered. "You're going to help us create a very special spell, one that no sorcerer has yet to achieve. A time travel spell. We just need the ingredients, symbols of innocence and love and courage and wisdom. A symbol of innocence could be a baby, for instance, and a symbol of wisdom... could be a brain." She chuckled evilly, which caused the scarecrow to gasp in fear. "Your brain, to be exact."

When Faye moved to take his brain, the scarecrow cowered in fear. "Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no!"

Now an adult also, Dorothy walked in, hurriedly walking toward them. "Stop!"

Faye looked at her in shock. "Dorothy? Didn't we send you back to Kansas?"

The scarecrow ran away.

"Well, witches, I'm back," Dorothy told them.

Faye noticed Dorothy was wearing the slippers. "Those slippers. They were supposed to be a one way ticket home."

"You left me no choice," Dorothy told them. "When I got word that you were alive, and had taken over Oz, I had to stop you."

"You got word?" Zelena asked. "Munchkins. I hate those mouthy, little vermin!"

"Let the Scarecrow go," Dorothy told them.

Faye shook her head. "Yeah, sorry, think we'll hold on to him."

"Faye, Zelena, you will never defeat me, because I have the most powerful weapon of all," Dorothy told them. "The love of the people."

Faye laughed. "Aw. Well, then."

Toto jumped out of Dorothy's bag. Dorothy shot a crossbow bolt at Faye. Faye caught it before it could impale her in the face, blowing fire from her mouth at Dorothy, who ducked. The doors behind Dorothy opened, leaving the guard there to be lit on fire from Faye's Dragon flame, killing him. On the arrow that Faye had caught, there was a poison that prevented her from going full Dragon form like Derek had once used on her in 4.18, making her groan in pain and agony as this poison was much worse, and was making her sick.

Zelena was very worried. "Faye? Faye!" Toto caused a curtain to fall on Zelena, and while Faye was sick and weakened, it allowed for Toto, Dorothy and Scarecrow to leave unscathed. "No!"

Underworld

Main Street

Hades was walking by the fallen clock tower, holding the page from the book with him and Zelena on it. The hands on the clock moved.

Hades' Lair

Hades walked in, seeing Gold was working on a potion. "You'd think a desperate man would work a little faster."

"Magic cannot be rushed," Gold quipped. "Creating a portal is no simple task."

Hades nodded. "Yes, yes, I know, but we don't have a Dark Curse or a magic bean or silver slippers. We have something better. Your Dark One tainted blood. It got you down here. It can reopen the portal."

"Why do you even need a portal?" Gold asked. "You can come and go as you please."

"But I can't bring anyone back, alive," Hades told him. "By combining our powers, that can change, and I don't care how painful it is for you, so if you want me to tear up this contract so Freya does not belong to me, and so that I will release her name, along with Alcina, Rose and Grace's names from those stones, making it possible for Freya to bring Jefferson back with her heart and so she's no longer foaming at the mouth mad, and you want me to leave the rest of your family alone, like Belle and your baby, Tori, Mathias, Saphira, Faye, Henry, and the babies of Tori, Mathias, Faye and Derek, and Alcina and Robin... you won't care about the pain, either."

Gold glared at him. "You must tell me where you want this portal directed."

Hades smirked. "Oh, why, Storybrooke, of course."

Storybrooke

Convent of the Sisters of Saint Meissa

Robin and Belle were taking care of the babies.

"Well, hi, there, little ones," Robin told them. "Hey. Did you sleep well? Yeah. Hi."

Roland looked over at the babies, gasping at them. "Hi."

Robin and Belle smiled at cute, adorable Roland being cute with the babies.

Zelena, disguised as Mother Superior, walked in. "Belle. Robin. What are you doing here?"

"Uh, formula for the babies," Belle answered, holding up the bottles.

Zelena/Mother Superior laughed. "Of course. Here. I'll help."

Zelena/Mother Superior took the clear bottle to use for Faye and Derek's baby.

"Uh, the red one's for Faye and Derek's baby," Robin told her.

Zelena/Mother chuckled. "Oh. Right. I don't know where my head is today."

Belle and Robin were suspicious. Robin led Roland away to the others watching the babies.

"Uh, Mother Superior, what--what's going on?" Belle asked.

"Nothing," Zelena/Mother Superior told them. "Everything's fine."

Mother Superior walked in. "No, it's not."

"What..." Roland trailed off.

Mother Superior stopped in front of Zelena/Mother Superior. "Who are you?"

"Zelena," Belle realized.

Zelena/Mother Superior chuckled. "You really are a clever girl."

Zelena morphed back into her normal appearance.

Robin was stunned. "No, no, no. Faye sent you back to Oz. Ho--how did you..."

"All you need to know is that nothing can keep me away from my daughter," Zelena told them. "I'm taking the baby of Faye and Derek so that Faye has no choice but to sit down and talk to me. So, if you wish to remain alive, step aside."

Underworld

Hades' Lair

Gold was still working on opening the portal. "So you want me to get you the babies of Alcina and Robin, and Faye and Derek. Why, so you can use them over my head like you've been doing with the rest of my family?"

"Well, you of all people should know the value of keeping your reasons your own," Hades told him. "I don't have to tell you anything."

Gold chuckled without humor. "And yet you keep doing so. Some might call that the mark of an insecure man."

"That is partially the reason, yes," Hades answered. "There is another reason for wanting Faye and Derek's child that I don't need you to know. We're done here. Get me Alcina and Robin's twins, and Faye and Derek's baby. I'll rip up the contract, and you can tell Belle she's pregnant, and you can tell Freya that you saved her from being enslaved to me. After everything you've done to your family, I'm sure they could use some good news for once. Now do it."

Storybrooke

Convent of the Sisters of Saint Meissa

Zelena picked up Faye and Derek's baby, who was crying. Robin was making sure Roland was out of the room, out of harm's way, but not leaving.

Belle looked at Zelena. "Put her--put her down."

"Or what, hmm?" Zelena asked. "You'll smite me with your book learning?"

Robin picked up his bow and arrow, aiming. "Oh, I have something more than that."

Zelena chuckled. "Please. Neither of you would dare risk hurting a child. Especially a child you're both related to. Derek is your brother, Robin. Faye is your niece, Belle. So Faye and Derek's baby is Robin's niece, and Belle's great niece."

Underworld

Hades' Lair

Gold used his blood to open the portal.

Storybrooke

Convent of the Sisters of Saint Meissa

Belle and Robin were panicking because they thought Zelena was going to hurt the baby.

"No, you--you don't want to hurt Faye and Derek's baby," Robin told her. "You don't want to hurt your granddaughter."

Zelena shook her head. "No, but I don't mind hurting either of you."

"Okay, we'll see," Belle told her, reaching to try and grab the baby back.

The ground suddenly started to shake violently, and the three of them tried to hold onto the cribs to keep steady. Belle and Robin were worried when the twins nearly fell from their cribs, catching them, holding them steadily.

Robin thought Zelena was doing this. "Stop it! Stop it! You're endangering everyone!"

"It's not me that's doing it!" Zelena told them. The portal opened, and in Zelena's surprise, Belle managed to grab Faye and Derek's baby, while also still holding one of the twins. The shaking ground made Belle and Robin, still with the babies in arms, fall through the portal. Zelena was angry. "No!"

Zelena jumped through the portal.

Hades' Lair

Hades and Gold watched the portal close.

Hades frowned in confusion. "Okay, where're the babies?"

Sorcerer's Mansion - Outside

Zelena, Belle and Robin landed on the ground, with the babies.

"What happened?" Robin asked. "Where's Roland?"

"I think he's still up there," Belle answered. "How did we get here?"

Zelena attempted to move, but she couldn't stand because she was injured, attempting to heal herself with magic, but it didn't work. "Oh, my magic."

"Zelena, what did you do to us?" Robin asked.

"I didn't do anything," Zelena answered. "This wasn't me."

"Okay, then, if it wasn't you, then who was it?" Belle asked. "And--and where are we? And why is the sky red?"

Zelena realized. "No, no, no!"

"What?" Robin asked.

"We're in the Underworld," Zelena answered.

Robin sighed. "Okay, then, uh, then Derek, Alcina, Tori, Saphira, Mathias and Faye... or Rose, Freya, Jefferson, Lisa, Blake and Grace must need our help. That's why we're here."

Belle and Robin stood with the babies in arms.

"Wait," Zelena told them. "Hades. We're here because of me. And now I know why. Faye and Derek's baby."

"What?" Robin asked. "Hades wants Derek and Faye's baby? Why?"

"To have leverage over me and Faye," Zelena told them. "I'm sure Derek won't be too thrilled by that. Hand her over, please."

Belle shook her head. "No. No, nothing good ever came of anyone trusting you."

Belle and Robin started to walk away with the babies.

Zelena tried to follow but couldn't while injured. "Belle, Robin, please! Belle? Robin?" She tried to stand, but couldn't, groaning in pain. "Robin! Belle!"

Flashback 2

Oz

Castle - Outside

Even while poisoned, Faye was interrogating the munchkins. "So, I heard someone of the munchkin persuasion tipped off Dorothy that Mama was still alive and that we both took over Oz. Since you're all so fond of tattling, I'll give you the chance to make it up to me. Where can I find the Scarecrow?"

"We don't know," Boq told her. "We swear!"

"Fine," Faye told him. "Have it your way, Boq." She used her magic to make him disappear into a pile of ash, turning to the other munchkins. "Did that loosen your bearded lips? Or would you like to turn into a pile of ash, too?"

Faye was trying not to show how weakened and poisoned she really was, turning her back to them, but was feeling weaker and weaker, getting more and more sick.

Inside

Zelena was trying to find a cure for Faye, but when nothing came from it, she lashed out, destroying vials and the table.

Hades appeared. "Now, now, no need to make more of a mess."

"Who the hell are you?" Zelena asked.

"Who the hell am I?" Hades repeated. "That question is more appropriate than you know. Please, allow me to introduce myself. I am Hades."

"Really?" Zelena asked. "King of the Underworld?"

Hades lit his hair on fire with blue flame, chuckling. "Yes. My reputation precedes me."

Hades kissed Zelena's hand.

"And to what do I owe this visit?" Zelena asked.

"Your handiwork, and that of your daughter Faye, has impressed me," Hades told her. "You've sent so many my way. That last headless guard... you and Faye have panache."

Zelena nodded. "True. But I sense there's something else."

"I heard a rumor that you and Faye are both dabbling in time travel, trying to achieve the unachievable," Hades told her.

"It won't be unachievable for long," Zelena told him.

"Which is why I'm here," Hades told her. "I believe in you."

Zelena chuckled. "Is the devil flirting with me?"

Hades laughed. "Yes. Uh, I'm not the devil. People are always conflating us. No, I want to help you. I also heard a rumor that Faye was poisoned by a potion shot at her by Dorothy. I believe this potion does have the power to kill your daughter. That Dorothy is a powerful woman with powerful allies."

"So are me and Faye," Zelena told him.

Hades chuckled. "Yes, yes, I know. I know, but she has one thing you two don't, the love of the people, and pardon me for saying so, but other than Faye, no one loves you. But there is a way to defeat her, and save Faye. With an ally."

"And what does Hades get out of saving a Siren Dragon that I made a deal with the Dark One to help create from the DNA of Tori and Mathias Matthews to help Faye become something like their daughter Saphira?" Zelena asked. "Does it have something to do with you asking me about the time travel spell?"

"All in good time, Zelena," Hades told her. "All in good time."

Zelena didn't trust him. "I don't need anyone's help to save Faye."

Zelena disappeared in a whirl of green smoke.

Granny's Diner

Snow and David were in the diner, when the Blind Witch placed toast in front of David and oatmeal in front of Snow.

"We haven't ordered yet," Snow told her.

"One dry wheat toast, one oatmeal," Blind Witch told them. "I know the orders of all the regulars. I'll get your cocoa."

Blind Witch walked away. Snow looked at David worriedly.

"What?" David asked.

"David, we're regulars," Snow answered. "We were only supposed to be here for a day, and now we're regulars at the diner in Hell. Um, on the way to Hell. You know what I mean."

David sighed. "You're thinking about Neal. I do, too, all the time."

"If only we could talk to him," Snow told him. "If he could just... hear our voices..."

Blind Witch placed their hot cocoa in front of them. "Oh, you can do that. It's a simple Level 1 haunting. Lots of people do it here until they lose interest in life and people and... joy. I know where a booth is."

"A booth?" David repeated. "For haunting?"

"Where?" Snow asked.

Blind Witch waved her hand. "Oh, here and there."

Snow sighed. "What do you want?"

Blind Witch pulled out a vial. "Breathe into this. The breath of the living buys a lot on the black market here." David breathed into the vial. Blind Witch closed the vial. "Okay. Um, the booth is by the bus stop. Just pick up the phone and tell the operator who you wish to haunt. Happy haunting."

"Let's go, Snow," David told her. "Let's talk to our boy."

Hatter House - Living Room

The Hatters, Matthews, Emma, Ella, Henry, Rose, Regina, Alcina, Killian, Derek, Cyrus, Axel and Christopher were talking, figuring out a way to rewrite Hades's story. A page had appeared about Snow and David that Henry and Grace didn't remember doing.

Killian sighed. "Riveting tale. Snow likes oatmeal. Is my morning breakfast in there, too?"

"Henry?" Emma asked. "Grace? Rose? I thought you were gonna use your powers to get us to defeat Hades."

"Henry doesn't even remember writing this," Rose told them. "Grace doesn't remember conjuring this picture. They just woke up and had it done."

Ella looked at Henry. "Okay. It's... really well written."

Freya looked at Grace. "Yes, and the illustrations are lovely."

"Maybe if you focus harder..." Cyrus trailed off.

Henry was annoyed. "Oh. So you're all like us now? Everyone's like us. Everyone's got an idea." Blake, Cyrus and Axel exchanged an amused look. "We're doing our best. Maybe if you just laid off for a little bit..."

Henry grabbed his papers, heading toward the stairs.

"Henry?" Regina asked. "Where are you going?"

"Upstairs," Henry answered, heading upstairs.

Axel smirked. "Well... guys? How does it feel to have this many teenagers on your hands?"

The adults hung their heads, causing the other teens to chuckle.

"Yeah," Cyrus sighed. "We love it, too."

A loud knock came at the door, and Christopher walked over to answer it.

"And now we have a visitor in our Underworld house," Blake told them.

Christopher hesitated before opening the door to reveal Zelena.

Faye looked at her in surprise. "Mother?" The same time Tori, Saphira, Mathias and Derek asked in surprise, "Zelena?"

Jefferson smirked. "So, someone finally did you in."

Freya smirked also.

Zelena gave Freya and Jefferson a sarcastic look. "Sorry to disappoint, but I'm very much alive."

Freya and Jefferson exchanged an annoyed look, sighing.

"Then how did you get here?" Lisa asked.

"Through a portal," Zelena answered. "And I didn't come alone."

"Who else is here?" Grace asked.

"Belle and Robin," Zelena answered. "Faye and Derek's baby. Alcina and Robin's twins. And they're in danger."

They all looked at her in shock and worry, especially Faye, Derek, Tori, Saphira, Mathias and Alcina.

Zelena walked in, seeing Hades holding Faye's green cupcake. "You again?"

Hades stood, still holding the cupcake. "Is it your birthday?"

"I didn't know the king of the Underworld was so nosy," Zelena told him. "Today is the anniversary of the day I decided to create Faye, and yes, she was born on this day. I don't know the day I was born, but thank you for reminding me."

"That's actually a sad story," Hades told her.

Zelena sighed. "I only know the day that my mother abandoned me."

"Oh, getting sadder," Hades told her. "So, Faye has a day where she celebrates the fact that her mother decided to try to bring forth a child that is made from the man that her mother could never have, and his wife, to make her like their daughter. Tori, Saphira and Mathias Matthews would certainly find that a bit dizzying. And you, you get to celebrate Abandonment Day?"

Zelena glared at him. "I'm not celebrating anything because my daughter is lying down in the other room, dying because of that poison."

"Maybe because Faye was not born like a normal Siren/Dragon witch, if that is such a thing," Hades told her. "Maybe it's because she's a science project you created so you wouldn't have to feel alone."

Zelena was only getting more angrier. "Please go!"

"You know, when I offered to help you save Faye, yes, it was coming from a place of self-interest, but I really think I can help," Hades told her. "You're thinking about your sisters, aren't you?"

"How did you know that?" Zelena asked.

"I know exactly how you feel," Hades told her. "They got everything you ever wanted, and you got nothing. Am I warm? Yeah, you know some people say they look up to their older siblings like gods? Well, my older brother is a god. Zeus. Ever hear of him? He got everything he ever wanted. He rules Mount Olympus, while I'm trapped ruling the Underworld. He stopped my heart. Love, happiness, joy. They've all been taken from me. What I'm left with is only anger and a thirst... for vengeance."

"I've survived on that for quite some time, and I've been raising Faye to survive off of that," Zelena told him.

"Only the kiss of true love can restart my heart and allow me to return a fully formed man, free of this curse," Hades explained. "But, well, true love, hmm? No one is more hated than the lord of the Underworld."

"I could give you a run for your money," Zelena told him.

Hades nodded. "Yeah. Which is why... we... must save your daughter Faye. And then I'll help you find your ingredients for the time travel spell. And I can tell you with certainty you're not gonna find your ingredients from anyone in this realm. You need a special heart to symbolize love, a special brain to symbolize knowledge, a special baby to symbolize innocence, and a special kind of courage for your final symbol. It won't come from just ordinary people. Let me help you and Faye. Let me help us. If I can travel back, I can see to it that it is me who winds up on Olympus, and my brother who suffers."

Zelena looked at him, impressed. "Well, you might just be as vindictive as I am."

Hatter House - Living Room

The Hatters, Matthews, Alcina, Derek and Christopher were getting ready to leave.

"Where are you going?" Cyrus asked.

"To find Belle, Robin and the babies," Alcina answered.

"What about a tracking spell?" Axel asked. "Or I could find a scent and track them."

"We don't have anything of Belle, Robin or the babies'," Blake told them. "Nothing that we can track them with."

"Not with a spell," Grace agreed. "And not with Axel's wolf tracking."

"I don't need magic," Derek told them. "I can find them. I lived for years in the forest. I can track anyone. I will find Belle, Robin and the babies."

Christopher was impressed. "I like him. I like you, Derek."

Derek raised his eyebrows, spinning an arrow in his hand, putting it in his quiver. "Thanks."

Saphira smirked. "Derek definitely has his moments."

Street

Having split up, the Hatters, Matthews, Derek and Alcina were walking one way to hopefully find Belle, Robin and the babies, while the others were going another way.

Lisa was very worried. "God. Where could they be? I mean, it took us forever to find Jefferson."

"That's because Hades had Jefferson," Alcina told them. "I'm hoping that he has no idea of Belle, Robin and the babies being here."

"And if he does?" Mathias asked.

"Then I will burn his ass down like the wanna be devil he's trying to be," Faye answered. "He certainly has bitchy tendencies. But he has no idea the kind of bitchy tendencies I have."

"Very classy, Faye," Blake told her sarcastically.

Faye smirked. "Always. And it's not like you have room to talk, Blake."

Blake shrugged in agreement.

"Where would Robin and Belle take the babies?" Jefferson asked. "That's the first place we should look."

"Well, Robin would take them out to the woods," Alcina answered. "Woods is the last place they should be, though."

"Robin knows this," Derek told them.

Tori stopped walking in realization. "Where's the first place Belle would go? The library."

Mathias nodded. "Tori's right."

"They're at the library," Saphira told them. "Come on. Let's go."

They ran along.

Library

Belle and Robin walked in with the babies.

Robin sighed. "God. What is this place?"

The elevator suddenly started coming up. Belle hid with the babies behind a shelf. Robin aimed his bow and arrow. Gold stepped out of the elevator.

Belle gasped in relief. "Rumple."

"Belle?" Gold asked. "Robin? What are you doing here? Y-y-you're not. You didn't."

The Hatters, Matthews, Derek and Alcina ran inside.

"Oh, no, no, no, no," Belle answered. "We're--we're alive."

Alcina gasped in relief to see her family. "Robin!"

Robin smiled in relief. "Alcina." Alcina ran closer to embrace Robin, and holding their babies in relief and joy but worried for them to be here, tears in her eyes. Robin held her and the babies, kissing Alcina on the head. They shared a passionate kiss. Robin chuckled, seeing his brother. "Derek."

Derek walked closer in relief to embrace his brother. "Robin." Robin returned the embrace. "Please tell me that Roland..."

"No, no, he's still up there," Robin answered. "He's safe."

Alcina was holding her babies. "Oh, are you okay? You're okay. Mama's here."

Robin chuckled lightly. "They're fine, Alcina."

Tori walked toward her sister. "Belle..."

Belle smiled in relief to see her family. "Tori." She embraced each in turn. "Saphira. Mathias. Faye."

Faye, after embracing Belle, immediately took her daughter. "Oh, my God. Is she okay?"

Derek walked closer to check on his daughter as well. "Are you okay?"

"It's okay," Faye told her. "Mommy's got you."

"Faye?" Mathias asked. "Derek?" They looked up. "I think she's okay."

Derek took the baby to hold. "Daddy's got you. Daddy's got you."

Robin, Belle, Tori, Saphira and Mathias smiled small smiles at seeing Faye and Derek like this with their baby. Freya, Alcina and Grace also embraced Belle.

"Belle..." Freya trailed off painfully in guilt. "I know I didn't get the chance to apologize before, but..."

Belle shook her head. "No, don't apologize. I know it wasn't you, Freya."

"I know, but I'm still sorry," Freya told her. "I know you forgive me, but I don't forgive me."

Belle smiled. "It's okay. If I forgive you, and everyone else does, which I know they do, you should, too."

"Okay," Jefferson told them. "Hang on. How are you guys here? Zelena didn't tell us everything."

"A portal brought us, the babies and Zelena," Robin answered. "It just opened up and made us all fall through."

Gold realized. "That's why the spell didn't work as I thought. Brought over three adults and three babies."

"Well..." Grace trailed off. "You... you did this? Who were you trying to bring if not Belle, not Robin, and you didn't know Zelena was back and..."

Gold looked at the babies in guilt, looking at Derek, Faye, Alcina and Robin, knowing they were going to be angry, as were the others.

Alcina gave him a look of exasperation and betrayal. "No! Why would you steal my and Robin's babies? Faye and Derek's baby?"

Gold tried to calm her down and explain. "No, no, no, Ally. It was--it was Hades. He used leverage to force me." He sighed, knowing he had to tell the truth. "Look, a long time ago, I made a deal, one I never thought would rear its head."

"What did you do?" Tori asked.

"Bae and Cilla were sick," Gold explained. "Cilla, you were five years old at the time, so you wouldn't have remembered anything about this, since it was so long ago. In exchange for your life, and Baelfire's life, I made a deal to give up my third born child."

"But..." Lisa trailed off.

Gold looked between them, sighing. "At the time, we had no idea of who Alcina was, or that she was my daughter. My first born. Ally, Bae, Cilla..."

Everyone realized what this meant, in shock, horrified.

"So you sold Freya?" Lisa asked.

Freya turned away, not knowing what this was leading to, but knowing that it was bad.

"I didn't know I had a third born child at the time, Cilla," Gold told her. "I did it to save you and Bae, and I never thought I was selling the daughter I was trying to save."

"So what does that have to do with anything?" Blake asked. "What does that have to do with Robin, Belle and the babies being here?"

Gold knew they were all going to be angry but that they needed to know the truth. "Hades got his hands on the contract." They all knew it was worse than they thought. Jefferson was frustrated now more than ever, turning to Freya in worry and horror, who kept their back to them in shock. "He now has the contract that I signed... to sell the third born child that I didn't know at the time was Priscilla."

"That's why Hades was taunting me about Cilla," Jefferson told them. "Saying that she was his to break. I told Cilla before that he was talking about her like property. I just never realized..."

"So..." Blake trailed off. "Wait. Hades owns Freya?"

Grace gave Gold a look. "That's not all there is. Is there?"

"No," Gold answered. "The reason why Hades put he names of Cilla, Ally, Rose and Grace on the headstones was so that he could keep them and Jefferson trapped here so I would be forced to do what he says. It's the same reason why he was threatening Henry, Tori, Mathias, Saphira, Faye. Alcina and Robin's twins, Faye and Derek's babies. And the babies Tori and Belle are carrying, due to me and Mathias."

They all looked at him in shock.

"He was threatening the babies," Faye told him. "He knew that Mama Tori and Papa Mathias are about to have a baby."

Lisa looked at Tori and Mathias in surprise. "You are?" They nodded. "You knew Tori was pregnant? Why didn't you tell us?"

"We didn't want anyone to worry," Tori answered. "We didn't have the right time. Or whatever. But you're also saying that Belle is..."

Gold nodded.

Belle was stunned, happy, but worried. "I'm... I--I'm pregnant? W--we're gonna have a baby?"

Gold nodded, smiling.

"So you sold Freya," Saphira told him. "Without knowing it. I'll give you that. But now our entire family is in danger because of Hades? Because of your deal with him?"

"Yes, but we can fix that," Gold told them. "I'll use all my power. We--we can fix this."

"Power?" Belle repeated. "What? You're the Dark One again?"

"Yes," Mathias answered. "You'll hate all the details that came with."

Gold sighed. "See, the thing is, I love this dagger, and I also love you, Belle, and I want my family. All are possible."

Freya started to laugh out of shock and madness, making everyone look at her. No one was surprised that she reacted like this because they knew how bad her insanity had gotten, but they were worried by the reaction.

"Freya?" Faye asked. "Something funny?"

Freya turned to face them finally. "More ironic, really, since Papa here wants Belle, he wants his family, but he sold his family and he betrays his family every chance he gets."

Gold knew she had a point, but also knowing that she was acting out because of the madness. "Cilla..." He looked over all of them. "Look, you wanted me to be a--a better man, and you've done that, but if you want me to be a different man, I'm sorry. This is who I am."

"You weren't always," Belle told him.

Freya scoffed, laughing quietly. "Oh, yes, he was. Even when he was a coward, he craved power. The only difference is, now he has it, and he'll do anything to keep it, including let Cyrus sacrifice himself in order to get the darkness back, make his sacrifice meaningless, but we all know how that turned out to be Jefferson sacrificing himself for nothing, because we were both trying to make up for what we've done, to Cyrus, to all of you, Hook, Ella, Emma, Snow, David, Axel, Henry, Rose, Regina." Gold gave her a look, but knew that her saying the truth like that in front of Belle was because of what he had just told them. Belle looked at Gold in betrayal and shock. "What about making up for what you've done, Papa?"

Belle shook her head. "No. No, I--I can't condone you being like this, not again, not after what you've done to your family and mine."

"Yes, you can," Gold told her. "You just have to choose to, and if you do, we can have what's important. Family, happiness. It's your choice."

Mathias scoffed. "No. We're not making any choices with you. Not now. Not after what you just told us."

"Hades is targeting all of us because of your deal," Tori told him. "Not just Freya. The daughter you sold."

"He put Freya, Aunt Ally, Rose and Grace's names on the stones because of all of this?" Faye asked. "The reason why Freya can't use her heart to bring back Jefferson. Because he wants Freya to be insane."

Blake clapped sarcastically. "Good job done, Gold. You're the reason Freya is still going mad, now more than ever. And why we're all still stuck here."

"He's going after our babies," Alcina told him. "Not just mine and Robin's. Not just Faye and Derek's, or Tori and Mathias's. Yours and Belle's too."

"We have to get back to our friends," Derek told them. "They're still looking for Belle, Robin and the babies. We've got to fix all of this."

"Hades is still the great uncle to me and Blake," Lisa told them. "Our father is sure that if anyone can stop him, it's me and Blake. And we'll be sure to find a way to stop him before he makes this worse."

"Preferably before he makes my mother stay forever," Grace told them. "Before she's turned into a slave. Before she loses her mind completely."

Saphira sighed. "Yeah. Let's go."

Jefferson looked around, only to find that Freya was gone. "Cilla? Cilla!"

Everyone was worried about Freya taking off like that after what she had just found out and the madness inside her head, also with the Hades contract.

Street

Freya was walking alone, holding her head in pain, furious and trying to remain sane, but having left because her magic was starting to lash out because of the insanity becoming overwhelmed with what she had just found out.

Gold appeared in front of her in a whirl of blood red smoke. "You can't be out here alone."

Freya scoffed, walking away. "Watch me."

Gold appeared in her way again. "Priscilla." Freya stopped in annoyance, anger, clearly very close to lashing out, and not caring that she was, as the madness was having a larger hold on her. "You can't be alone because of the madness and because of Hades. Don't walk away from your father."

Freya laughed manically, not finding it all that funny, but more ironic. "Can you even be called my father anymore? I mean, you did sell me when I was five years old, and yes, I know you unknowingly sold your third child, thinking she was your second child, that you were trying to save by selling your third child, that ended up actually being what you thought was your second child. Well done, Papa."

Gold nodded in acknowledgement. "Cilla, I didn't know."

"Doesn't change the fact that I am now the property to the king of the Underworld, and that my entire family is in danger because of a deal you made," Freya told him. "And you should know, I saw Hades in one of my dreams last night, but I didn't know if it was the madness playing tricks on me or not, but he told me about was really happened to Mama. Were you the one that actually threw her into the River of Lost Souls?"

Gold hated that Hades told her that because he was trying to set her off the edge. "I did it to save you."

Freya, completely overwhelmed, raised her voice, nearly shouting. "You should know by now that I don't care about what happens to me as long as my family is safe! That they're okay!" She shook her head, making move to walk away. "No, I can't deal with this right now." Gold grabbed her arm before she could leave. Freya glared at him. "Take your hand off of me before you lose it like you did to Hook."

Gold shook his head. "I know all of this is making you closer to losing your mind, and that's what Hades wants. To make you lose your mind enough to where you will punish anyone and everyone again, so you will willingly do as he says because of that contract. If you want to punish someone, punish me. It is all my fault, after all, is it not? Like everything that has ever happened to you is my fault. Maybe I was always cursed to hurt you more than anyone else because I sold you when you were five years old without knowing it. So go ahead, do it. Take it out on me again. Hit me. Hit me!" Freya lost control, letting her magic lash out at Gold, pushing him away from her into the building behind him, the magic blast powerful enough to kill and destroy anything that wasn't immortal like Gold was. After this, Freya was able to start to calm down. Gold knew that she would somewhat calm down after that, pushing away from the building. "Better now? I can help you, Cilla."

Freya shook her head. "After everything you've done, I don't want your help."

Jefferson, Grace, Lisa and Blake ran up to them.

"Freya?" Lisa asked.

"Mama?" Grace asked.

Blake slowed down. "Hey. Freya?"

Freya turned away from her father, walking toward her family.

"Cilla?" Jefferson asked worriedly.

Freya shook her head, tears in her eyes, clenching her fists so hard she drew blood from her palms, her power sparking from her fingertips, burning into her skin. Jefferson pulled her into his arms to help her calm down. Freya held onto him, and embracing Lisa, Grace and Blake as well, trying to anchor herself to sanity as she tried not to cry, fearing what she could do if she really lost it like Hades wanted her to do. Gold looked down sadly in guilt.

Snow and David were in line for the phone booth.

"I mean, how does this even work?" Snow asked. "I don't know how much time it gives us. Do we just talk, or... Oh, maybe we should sing a little song. He likes our singing."

"I don't think it really matters," David told her. "I think it's just about Neal hearing our voices."

"Yeah, but how does that work, anyway?" Snow asked. "Does it go directly into his ears? Does it repeat on a loop?"

David looked at a man. "Uh, excuse me. Do you know how this works, I mean, on the other side?"

The man shook his head. "No idea. I don't even know if the messages get through. I hope so. Or I've wasted a lot of time these past 30 years."

David looked at Snow. "All right, come on."

They walked into the booth.

Snow sniffled, picking up the phone. "Okay."

Woods

Emma, Regina, Ella, Killian, Rose, Cyrus and Blake were walking through the woods, looking for Belle, Robin and the babies, unaware that they had already been found.

Zelena was following them. "Before we find the babies, would you do me the courtesy of sharing with me whatever horrid names Alcina, Robin, Faye and Derek have saddled them with? Probably something dreadful like Brittany, Tiffany and Noah. Or Nancy, Mary and Roy. Oh, God, not Marian, Clarissa or Rave."

Ella was very annoyed. "Zelena! They haven't named their babies because we've been split up for most of the time since they were born."

"They need to find out who they really are," Rose told her. "Which they haven't been able to do. You know, because Aunt Ally, Faye and Derek have been down here. And Robin and Belle were protecting the babies from you."

"Yeah, why were Alcina, Faye and Derek down here at all?" Zelena asked. "So they could go on some heroic quest? I mean, how is finding Jefferson more important than their babies?"

"Jefferson is Alcina's brother in law," Killian answered in annoyance. "Meaning he's uncle through marriage to Alcina and Robin's babies. Robin told Derek to come with us so that he could help his friends, and Alcina."

"And Faye's still trying to redeem herself," Emma added. "Something you clearly have no interest in doing. At least Faye's trying to be a better person for her baby. Trying to be saner."

"Helping friends?" Cyrus asked. "Setting an example of heroism? That is important."

"You know, Zelena, I used to be just like you and Faye, and so did Alcina," Regina told her.

Zelena scoffed. "Oh, please, don't flatter yourself."

"When Ally was the Dark Sorceress, I was the Evil Queen, and Faye was Fatale, we spent every day not giving a damn about anyone," Regina told her. "And in return, no one cared about us. I thought all I needed was my vengeance to keep me warm at night. But then something happened. The enemies of me and Alcina... became our family. Faye became a family with the family you used to create her, that you raised her to hate and want to destroy. Tori, Saphira, Mathias, Belle, and now Derek. And that's when we finally felt happy. That is why we're here. They need our help, and when family needs help, you step up."

Zelena rolled her eyes, pretending not to be affected. "In case you've forgotten, there is someone I love who needs my help. Faye, who's out there looking for the daughter she shares with Derek. So if we could get on with finding them, that would be just brilliant."

Night - Ruined House - Outside

Zelena and Hades were by a ruined house.

"What are we doing here?" Zelena asked. "I thought we were looking for something that can help cure Faye."

"Well, Dorothy is the one who poisoned Faye, so I'm sure that she has the cure," Hades pointed out, pulling out a bike from the wreckage. "Sometimes to find someone, you need the right tools."

"What the hell is that?" Zelena asked.

Hades chuckled. "Oh, right. They don't have these in Oz. It's called... a bicycle."

Hades got on, riding circles around Zelena.

"And how is that contraption going to help us find the cure for Faye?" Zelena asked.

"Oh, well, here, hop on,' Hades told her. "I'll show you. Oh, please, trust me."

Zelena got onto the bike, seeing a reaction from Hades. "What is it?"

Hades shook his head. "Nothing. Are you ready? All right, hold on."

Hades started riding the bike.

Zelena was clearly enjoying herself, laughing and squealing. "It's like a broom with wheels!"

Hades rounded a corner, and they were still laughing, but hitting a rock, they both fell off to the ground, landing face to face, and Zelena was still laughing.

"It's okay," Hades told her. "I've got you. Would you like to go again?"

Zelena laughed. "Yes, I'd like to go again." They both laughed, sitting up. Zelena studied the bike. "Now, tell me how this piece of tin is gonna help me find the cure for Faye. That loathsome farm girl must have it carefully hidden."

"Simple," Hades told her. "This bicycle belongs to Dorothy. Just enchant it, and it will take us right to her, and the cure for Faye."

Zelena enchanted the bike. They laughed again.

Alcina and Robin, and Faye were carrying their babies, while Derek, Belle, the other Matthews, and the Hatters followed. They heard the others calling for them, following the sounds of their voices yelling their names, walking around a corner to find them.

"It's okay," Saphira told them. "I mean, it's not okay. But the babies are okay. For now, anyway."

Axel sighed in relief. "You found them."

"Yeah," Tori answered. "Yeah, they're fine."

Zelena walked up to them. "Well, hello."

"Wait," Mathias told her. "What are you doing here?"

"Helping," Zelena answered.

Blake rolled his eyes. "You tried to steal Faye and Derek's baby. Just so Faye would have to sit down and have a talk with her mother."

"While that is true..." Zelena trailed off. "Faye, can we speak?"

"Not right now," Faye answered. "If you can't see, Derek and I are having a reunion with our daughter, Mother."

"It's okay, Faye," Ella told her. "She won't hurt anyone."

Grace wasn't as convinced. "But..."

"What's going on with you guys?" Killian asked.

"A lot," Lisa answered. "Guys... we're all in danger. More so than we thought before."

Freya couldn't talk about this again, walking away.

Jefferson looked at the others. "Explain. I'll go after her." They nodded. Jefferson followed Freya. "Cilla."

"What's going on with Freya?" Axel asked.

Alcina sighed. "We figured out why our father's being MIA. Hades has been leveraging him. Apparently, to save Neal and Freya when they were kids, Gold sold his third born child. Gold didn't know at the time that I was his daughter, because he hadn't even known I had existed back then. Making Freya his third born."

"Hades knew that Gold would try to protect Freya from him," Tori explained. "So he made sure that he had no choice but to listen to him. That's why he put Freya, Alcina, Rose and Grace's names on the stones to keep them here, rendering Freya unable to bring Jefferson back. To make Gold listen."

"It was also his way of making sure Freya couldn't use her heart to bring Jefferson back," Mathias added. "So that their minds wouldn't relink. So that she would still be consumed with madness. Especially after finding all of this out."

"Hades was threatening all of us," Saphira went on. "Henry, Jefferson, Alcina and Robin's twins. Derek and Faye's baby. Aunt Belle and Gold's baby. Yeah, Aunt Belle is pregnant."

"He was also threatening Mama Tori, Papa Mathias, and Sister Saphira," Faye agreed. "And threatening the unborn baby of Mama Tori and Papa Mathias. The little brother or sister to me and Saphira. Yes, Mama Tori is pregnant, too."

"We would've told you about Tori and Mathias's baby sooner," Derek told them. "But we didn't know when was a good time. Or if there would be a good time while we were stuck down here. But Freya is literally signed in a contract that Hades holds. He literally owns her right now. But he's still threatening all of us."

Everyone else was in shock.

Zelena sighed. "So Hades wasn't after Faye and Derek's baby because of me?"

Grace frowned in confusion. "Wait. What? What are you talking about? Why would Hades... Why would you think Hades was after just Faye and Derek's baby? And why would you think it was because of you?"

"Zelena?" Blake asked. "What aren't you telling us? And don't say you're not hiding anything. It's obvious you are. You're a bad liar for the Wicked Witch."

Zelena sighed, not answering, walking away. The others exchanged a look.

"What about Freya?" Ella asked worriedly. "How is she holding up?"

"What do you think?" Lisa replied. "She's not holding up. She's trying to put on a strong front. But..."

"Hades told Freya that Gold was the one that really threw her mother into the River," Tori explained. "He wants her to lose it completely."

"But why?" Emma asked. "I mean, he already owns her in a contract."

"Because he saw what she did when she lost it as the Dark One," Mathias answered. "He wants her to go back to that."

"He wants Cilla to punish everybody," Alcina agreed. "He wants her to want to work for him. In his mind, if she wants to work for him, then we wouldn't be able to save her."

"And who knows what she could do?" Cyrus asked. "Again."

Everyone was worried.

Snow nodded. "Yes. Or, well, no. I don't know."

"Well, at least we tried," David told them.

"I just need him to hear our voices," Snow admitted.

Christopher stood. "He will. As soon as you make it back home."

"Christopher, when will that be?" Snow asked.

"I don't know," Christopher admitted. "You went through this with Emma and Ella. I went through it with Lisa and Blake. But I'm gonna try to get all of you home. If it's the literal last thing I do. Maybe that's my last part of unfinished business. Getting all of you home."

Night - Dorothy's Hideout - Outside

Zelena and Hades arrived where Dorothy was hiding with the cure.

"There she is," Hades told her. "Go on. This Dorothy's no match for you. I've seen many powerful women in my day, but none as brilliantly wicked as you. Or clever or witty or beautiful." Zelena and Hades nearly kissed, but were interrupted when the door opened, and the Scarecrow walked out, joining Dorothy by the campfire. "Go on. You've got this."

Zelena got off the bike. "All right. If that Kansas brat gets in my way of saving Faye, we'll see what gingham looks like with blood spatter." She stormed up to Dorothy. "Give me the cure!"

Dorothy stood, drawing her sword. "Back off, witch! You're not taking anything from me!"

Zelena smirked. "Yes. Yes, I will."

Zelena magically froze Dorothy and the Scarecrow to take the cure.

Dorothy unfroze. "I won't let you win!"

"It's too late," Zelena told her.

"I'm not afraid of you," Dorothy told her. "Do your worst, but I will never be afraid of you."

"Not sure where all this back talk is coming from," Zelena told her. "What happened to you in Kansas? Actually, I don't really care, because we're finished. You see, I don't need to kill you, and believe it or not, I don't want to. Because I want every munchkin, every quadling, every good witch and bad of Oz to know that the great Dorothy Gale can't protect them. Aw, hey need to know that you failed, and then, then, my pretty, you'll have nothing." She laughed evilly, looking behind her. "Hades? Hades, you were right." She walked along the path, but didn't see him. "She... Hades?"

Freya was alone, crying. Jefferson, Grace, Lisa, Blake and Alcina were looking for her.

"Cilla?" Alcina called.

"Are you out here?" Jefferson asked. "Cilla, please. It is not safe for you out here."

"Freya?" Lisa called.

"Freya, where are you?" Blake asked.

Grace looked around. "Mama?"

Freya took a deep breath, walking out to join them. "I'm right here. I'm sorry. All this with Hades, it's my fault."

Jefferson stepped closer in concern. "No, it's not, Cilla. It's your father's."

"None of you are on that contract," Freya told them. "You're just... hurt because of a deal Papa made about me and you're dragged into it because of Hades's need to prove to everyone how powerful he is. None of you were supposed to be hurt by that deal, but I was."

Alcina shook her head, walking closer. "Cilla, you can't possibly blame yourself for this."

Freya was crying, but trying to stop. "If Hades gets what he wants, I could lose it completely and hurt everyone, all over again. I can't protect any of you like this, not the way I am right now, and especially not with the deal or Hades trying to make me break. I have to protect all of you from this, and if that means staying away from you so I can't hurt you, and so Hades doesn't... Protecting all of you is more important than what happens to me."

Grace walked closer worriedly, tears in her eyes, shaking her head. "No, no, no, no. Mama, you don't need to stay away. You're the one who needs protecting now."

"You spend so much of your time protecting us, taking care of us," Lisa told her. "Let us take care of you."

"Please, Freya," Blake told her. "I'm not planning on losing you to our psycho great uncle."

Jefferson walked closer to take Freya by the hand, pulling her closer, wiping her tears away gently, leaving his hands on her cheeks so she would look at them, meeting her gaze reassuringly. "Cilla, it's gonna be okay. We're gonna figure this out. You're not gonna be some pawn in Hades's game, okay? We're gonna be fine. We just have to make sure you are, too."

Alcina offered Freya her hand. "Please come back with us. I know you think staying away from us will protect us, but if you're alone, Hades can get to you, and who knows what will happen after that? If you're with us, it's safer for everyone."

"We're not gonna let Hades do anything to you," Lisa told her. "And with you with us, he's not gonna do anything to the rest of us."

"Please come with us, Mama," Grace begged. "We can protect each other."

"Okay?" Blake asked. Freya took several deep breaths, nodding, taking Alcina's hand, still holding one of Jefferson's, looking at Grace, Lisa and Blake, nodding. Blake sighed in relief. "Okay. Come on."

They all embraced, walking away together.

Hatter House - Living Room

The Hatters and Alcina had come home to meet up with the others.

Christopher stood, walking closer with worry. "I heard about the deal. Are you guys okay?"

Lisa and Blake embraced their father.

"Not really, Papa," Blake answered.

"Lisa, Blake, don't worry," Christopher told them. "We're gonna do whatever we can to protect Freya. And everybody else who could be in danger because of Hades."

Snow walked closer worriedly to embrace her best friend. "Freya..."

Freya chuckled. "I'm okay, Snow. Right now, anyway." They pulled away. Freya looked at Alcina, nodding to Robin and the twins. "Go, be with your family."

"You're also my family, Cilla," Alcina told her.

Freya gave her a look. "Ally, I will be more okay if I get to see you with your babies. Go."

Regina nodded to Alcina. "You heard the girl. Go, Ally. Probably don't wanna argue with Freya right now. You definitely don't wanna argue with me, ever."

Alcina gave Regina an amused look. "Gina." She sighed, smiling a little at the fact that even while Freya was like this, all those two sisters of hers wanted was to see her family happy. "Okay."

Alcina walked over to Robin, looking at her babies in awe, smiling happily.

Robin smiled. "They have your eyes."

Alcina smiled. "Do you have any blondes your side of the family?"

"Well, who cares, Ally?" Regina asked. "You got two little beautiful blonde babies. their hair could change as they grow, or not."

Alcina and Robin chuckled. Regina, Freya, Jefferson, Grace, Rose and Derek watched them with a small smile.

"So, do the babies have names yet?" Rose asked.

"No," Axel answered. "Not yet. They can't. Hades can do things with names."

Faye nodded. "Like put them on tombstones to keep people from leaving here. I don't even think it's wise to keep them in this house."

"I hate to be the one to offer optimism," Killian told them sarcastically. "But I think we're all safe here."

"Maybe," Saphira told them. "But we can't take that chance. Derek and Robin are taking the babies to the forest."

"Honestly?" Derek asked. "It's the only place I've ever felt really at home."

"At least there, they can keep the babies safe," Mathias told them. "We can cast protection spells that will keep them hidden."

Tori sighed, shaking her head. "We're not letting him get these babies." She looked at Freya significantly. "Or anyone else."

Grace seemed to be in a trance, and without her knowing it, she conjured a storybook page in her hand with an illustration of Baby Neal on it.

Rose looked up. "Oh, Grace had one of the Illusionist trances. I'm betting Henry had one of the Author trances. And that he'll be down here in three... two... one..."

Henry walked downstairs hurriedly, carrying his writing. "It happened! It happened again!"

"Yeah," Ella told him. "We know. We saw what happened to Grace, Henry. Rose figured it happened to you, too."

Henry sighed, nodding. "Well, it did. Take a look."

Henry showed them his writing, while Grace showed them her illustration.

"Snow, look at this," David told her.

"It's Neal," Snow told them.

"Why did you write this?" David asked.

Cyrus looked at Henry and Grace. "Let me guess. It was like before. You don't remember doing this. It just happened on its own."

Henry and Grace nodded.

Emma took a page, reading. ""The infant son of Snow White and Prince Charming looked up at the tiny glass unicorns as they stirred by the wind, but on this night, he didn't hear the chime of the crystal. Instead, he heard the voices of his mother, Snow White, and his father, Prince Charming. They sang a lullaby until he fell asleep as soundly as if he were in their arms'."

Snow was stunned, sighing in relief. "He heard us. He heard us."

David smiled. "Henry, Grace, thank you."

"I don't know about anyone else, but I am really ready to get back home to my family," Snow told them. "My whole family."

"No more waiting," Tori told them. "We're going to take down Hades. And we're going to do it now."

"Before he can hurt anyone else," Derek told them. "Before he can get what he wants from Freya. Before he can lay a hand on any of these babies."

"Already born or unborn alike," Mathias agreed. "We have to get Freya, Alcina, Rose and Grace's names off those headstones. That way Freya can use her heart to revive Jefferson. Find out whatever else Hades wants from Gold so we can stop them."

Rose nodded. "We can't let him get Mathias and Tori's baby. Or Belle and Gold's. Or Faye and Derek's. Or Aunt Ally and Robin's twins."

"We will," Saphira told them. "We all will."

"Well, we better hope so," Faye told them. "And I'm hoping that my mother can tell us what she knows. She took off. But I'm willing to bet that we can find her and get her to tell us what she knows."

"Ally and I will go with Faye if it means dealing with Zelena," Regina told them. "So will Tori, Saphira and Mathias. If they can."

"She should tell them," Lisa told them.

Axel nodded. "Let's hope so."

Freya was holding her head in pain, sitting down, her hands shaking.

"Mama?" Grace asked worriedly. "I know 'are you okay?' sounds like a stupid question right now, but..."

Jefferson walked closer, kneeling in front of Freya to meet her gaze. "We're gonna figure this out, and you're gonna be fine. We're all gonna be okay. Okay?"

Freya nodded, gazing off. Jefferson kissed her on the head, standing so he could sit next to her, wrapping an arm around her. Freya leaned her head against his chest, tapping her fingers against his chest, still incredibly worried, but able to relax with Jefferson and her family and friends all here.

Night - Castle

Hades had prepared dinner for Zelena.

Zelena walked in. "There you are. I just gave Faye the cure. She's in her chambers, resting up and healing. She doesn't know what I've been doing all night. What's this?"

"Dinner," Hades answered, blowing and lighting one candle. "To celebrate."

Hades blew, lighting another candle.

"You saw?" Zelena asked.

"Of course I saw," Hades answered. "You were wonderful. I knew you'd succeed. Come, sit."

Hades led Zelena to the table, pulling out her seat for her to sit down.

"So, is this also a farewell dinner before you return?" Zelena asked.

Hades shook his head. "No. I'm not going back to the Underworld, Zelena."

"But you said you needed..." Zelena trailed off, realizing what he was saying. "Oh."

Hades nodded. "Yes."

"So, you think that you and me are..." Zelena trailed off.

Hades smiled slightly. "True love. You can't tell me you don't feel something, too."

"Yes, but we just met," Zelena told him.

"I know, I know, but when we were on that bicycle, and I had my arms around you, I felt something I haven't felt in eons," Hades explained. "My--my heart fluttered. Just for a moment. And I truly believe... once we kiss... my heart will start again. I'll be free, and we can be together."

Hades leaned to kiss her.

Zelena stopped him, standing. "No."

"No?" Hades repeated. "What?"

"How could I be so stupid?" Zelena asked.

"What--what are you talking about?" Hades asked.

Zelena chuckled. "I almost believed you."

"It's the truth, I promise," Hades told her.

"You want me to kiss you to free you from the Underworld, and then you'll have the power to steal what Faye and I've already accomplished into putting toward to enact our time travel spell, for you, and only you," Zelena accused. "Because that's what I would do."

Hades shook his head. "No."

"You want revenge, and until you get it, you will never be satisfied," Zelena told him. "You need this spell. You need to go back to beat your brother, just like I need to go back to beat my sisters, and Tori, Saphira and Mathias Matthews. Love is not enough!"

"No, Zelena, I don't want that anymore," Hades told her. "I want you. I love you."

"No one could love me," Zelena told him. "No one except for Faye. But if you did, you wouldn't want to take away my best chance at revenge. Go back to your brimstone. I never want to see your face again."

Hades backed away. "You will regret this, Zelena."

Hades disappeared in blue fire.

Hades approached the fallen clock tower where Zelena was waiting for him. They slowly walked toward one another.

"Hello, Hades," Zelena told him.

Hades smiled. "Zelena. You know, I was looking for you."

"You were looking for Alcina and Robin's twins, and Faye and Derek's baby," Zelena corrected. "My niece, nephew and granddaughter. I was just a happy accident."

Hades chuckled. "Yes. Yes, you were. But when I heard you fell through my little portal, I really was looking for you."

"I know," Zelena told him. "I thought I'd make it easy. I know that you want those babies for your time travel spell. If you touch them, I will demolish you!"

"There's no need for that," Hades told her. "I wouldn't hurt you. I never would've hurt you. That's the thing about true love. It endures. It can't be broken."

"What?" Zelena asked. "So, sending Rumplestiltskin after them had nothing to do with revenge on your brother?"

Hades sighed. "I have enough revenge here against my brother in the form of Christopher, Lisa and Blake, tormenting the ones they care about to torment them. Zelena, I just needed the babies down here for the Dark One to listen to me. They may be your family, but they're his family as well. I wasn't going to hurt them, because that would hurt you. And I was going to do what you wanted to when you went for Faye and Derek's baby. I wanted you to have your daughter back, because her being away from you was causing you so much pain."

Zelena was stunned. "Despite everything I've done, you've loved me all this time?"

Hades laughed. "Look around you. I mean, aren't you curious why this--this place looks like Storybrooke? I did it for you. I saw how much you wanted to cast the Dark Curse to get everything your sisters had."

"You made me my very own Storybrooke?" Zelena asked.

Hades nodded, laughing. "I have you what you wanted, what they had. It's not... perfect. The Underworld is a place of... well, destruction. Despite my best intentions, things don't grow here. They decay. But it's our decay. Zelena, wouldn't it be nice, to not be alone anymore?" He took her hand. "After all these years, I still choose you." He sighed. "What better revenge is there than having it all?"

Zelena chuckled without humor. "But I had it all, and then I left Faye, and her and Derek's baby with the others, because I thought you wanted to hurt them."

"Well, then, we'll just have to go back and get them, won't we?" Hades asked.

Zelena shook her head, breathing heavily. "No. No, I want to trust you. I do."

Hades nodded. "But you still can't. I understand."

"I'm sorry," Zelena told him. "It's too much. I will get Faye back, and her and Derek's baby. And I'll do it all on my own."

Zelena started to limp away.

"April 15th," Hades told her.

Zelena stopped. "What?"

"Your birthday," Hades answered. "Just thought you might want to know."

"How do you know this?" Zelena asked.

Hades chuckled. "Tortured it out of a miller's daughter. Don't worry. I took care of her, too, for you. I know you don't need me. You don't need anyone, but if you change your mind, and decide you want me... I'll be waiting for you, at home, just like I always have."

Hades disappeared in blue fire, leaving Zelena in complete shock.
