You Want to Dance?

2 weeks later

A couple a days ago John finally sucked up his pride and told Paul that he can be apart of the band.

The lads and I were all huddled up after they had just finished their little gig.

"I swear you lads are just blowing me away!" I squealed.

"Well speaking of blowing, I think that bird wants to give me one." John winked and walked to the girl in front who was shamelessly flirting.

The rest of the lads cheered John on, and went their seperate ways.

I crossed my arms and stared ahead at John and the platinum haired blonde, both flirting and her giggling at almost everything he's saying.

He can't be that funny.

"Jealous?"

I looked up at Paul and chuckled as I leaned against the wall.

"I thought you left with the other lads." I sighed.

"They aren't the type I like to chat around with." Paul said as he took out a ciggie and lit it.

"May I have one?" I looked up at him.

"This is my last one." Paul took one more drag and handed it to me.

I took a drag and quickly glanced over to where John was.
Him and that girl were both gone.

"Are you two together or something?" Paul looked down at me and stuffed his hands in his jacket pocket.

"Eh not really. Were friends... but were not."

"That makes alot of sense." Paul laughed.

"You know what I mean." I smirked.

"Me and my mate were going to the cavern but the little shite couldn't make it. I was thinking maybe you would like to come instead?" Paul asked as his cheeks were somewhat blushed.

"Just me and you?" I felt a bit nervous.

"Yeah that was the idea." Paul shrugged.

"Alright then lets get going."

Later

Paul and I were having a hell of a time together drinking and talking.

"I'm not gonna lie I'm havin' a good time with you Cherry. You're a fun bird!" Paul said slightly yelling over the loud band playing.

"I can say the same thing!" I replied.

Soon enough they started to play my favorite song:
Hound Dog.

The band sounded pretty good, they sung somewhat like Elvis but they done a hell of a job!

Paul was saying something to me but I couldn't quite hear him.

"What?!" I yelled over the loud music.

"...you want to dance?!" Paul spoke louder.

I nodded my head, and Paul grabbed my hand helping me with my seat and we both were dancing.

He wasn't the best dancer but he wasn't the worst either.

I was having one of the best times of my life without John.
This was a different experience with someone else and I enjoyed every moment of it.
