"Oh John! It's you! You're so handsome." She said as she pulled him into a hug.

I awkwardly just stood there as they had their moment going on.

"Ahem." I cleared my throat.
"Oh. Julia, this is Cherry my friend." John said as he broke away from the hug.

"Cherry that's unique, wow you're a beautiful girl. She's a beauty John." Julia smiled.

"Not as beautiful as you." John said as he smirked at her.

"Oh John!" Julia said as she playfully slapped his shoulder.

I turned and gave him a glare.
"No- yeah Cherry is very beautiful." John said as he made up for what he said.

"Oh John!" I said as I dramatically held him.

John laughed and his mum finally invited us inside.

"Go on and take a seat at the table." Julia said as she closed the door behind herself.

There were 2 little girls in the living room playing with their dolls.
John looked but kept walking to the table. I sat directly next to him, and Julia sat across from us.

"So John how are you?" Julia asked.

"I'm great bloody great."

I was kind of uncomfortable being here, but if me being here helped John in someway then I can go through it.

"And what about you?" John asked.

"I'm fine you know just taking care of the girlies." She said as she smiled looking over at the girls playing in the living room.

John just nodded his head and looked down.
I noticed and I grabbed his hand and held it to comfort him.

"So what do you do?" Julia asked.

I looked up and finally realized she was talking to me.
"Well besides being a highschool student, I'm a part time lawyer."

"Really?"

"No."
I said making her quite uncomfortable.

"Oh... okay well let me check on the cookies I was making...earlier. If you'll excuse me." She said as she awkwardly left the table and walked into the kitchen.

"Don't be a smartass."
John whispered.

"I'm not, what kind of question was that? It was pretty stupid."
I crossed my arms.

"She was just nervous like the rest of us."

"I'm not nervous."

"Well can you be polite for once please?"
John was pretty defensive, maybe I should be a tad bit nicer, it is his 'mum'

"Look who's talking."
I mumbled under my breath.

Julia came back with a tray of cookies fresh from the oven and put them on the table.

"Here we go, don't be shy now take some." Julia hinted at me, since John already grabbed a cookie.

I took one and Julia gave me a napkin.
"Girls, cookies are ready." Julia yelled.

Soon the 2 girls came in and grabbed some and went back to their dolls.

I still didn't eat my cookie, I just sat there and didn't say a word.

I didn't know how long I was there, I just zoned out on their whole conversation. Then it was over, it's almost like I fast-foward through time.

"C'mon Cher, were heading home now." John said as he nudged me and snapped me back into reality.

"Oh really? Well that was pleasant Julia. I thank you so much for giving me the chance to be here." I said almost sounding too nice.

"You can come over anytime! You're always welcome if you're a friend of John's." Julia said as she opened the door for us.

"I'll keep that in mind! Ta-ta!" I said as I left the door behind John.

"Goodbye John." She waved and gave him a air kiss.
John turned around.
"Bye" he said as he waved his hand.

She closed the door, and John glared at me and walked away from me.

Well I know what this is about, but I wanted to hear it come from him.
"John what's wrong?" I asked as I catched up to him.

"I'll tell you what's wrong, it's you!" John yelled.
John never really yelled at me before, only once when I accidentally kicked him in the balls, it was pretty bad.

"Me? I'm sorry if I don't care for her. I don't praise the ground she walks on like she's the fucking Messiah!" I yelled back.

"Don't treat my mum like shit just because your mum is a whore." John spat as he walked off.

"Oh what is that supposed to hurt my feelings!? Well I already knew she was a whore you cunt!" I yelled after him.

John just kept walking and stuck up the middle finger behind him.
