A/n: just a heads up: I don't usually write in third person so I'm sorry if it's awkwardly worded or something. Bear with me.

The cold air whipped around his slender body, yet he didn't even shiver in the slightest. He's used to the cold, numb feeling that spreads across his skin with every movement. A puff of air erupted in front of his face as he breaths, standing as still as a statue I front of the dormitories. Why he's just standing there, staring at the building, he doesn't know. An odd feeling runs through his veins as he wills his long, thin legs to walk toward the entrance. Silence surrounds the boy as he stands in front of the glass door, his ice cold hand outstretched towards the freezing metal handle. Fed up with the cold, he squeezes his eyes shut and forces the door open. The heated air slowly thawing his frozen body, a nice change from the winter outside. A soft smile spreads across his pale lips as he welcomes the warm air into his lungs, it doesn't last long however.

The strange feelings that filled his veins returns with a greater feeling of impending doom. He shrugs it off and slowly walks across the empty lobby, towards the elevators. As the boy nears the silvery elevator, he feels his stomach twist into knots, a feeling that he is not very familiar with. His pale fingers press the button that has the decal of an arrow pointing upwards before returning to their original location in the front pockets of his black winter jacket. A loud ding resonates through the empty hallway slightly before the elevator doors start to open. He quickly enters the small compartment before the elevator doors start closing. His eyes scan for the number three on the elevator's panel before pressing the button softly.

A faint tune erupts from the speakers in the small room as he feels the elevator start moving upwards towards the third floor. He takes a deep breath as he notices the counter on the top of the door reaches the number three. The elevator stops abruptly and the doors slowly open, letting the boy off. He looked down the long hallway, checking for any wondering idols or staff before walking. The feelings that fills his body grows with each step he takes, as he nears his destination. His legs stop without warning as he passes the door with the number 348 written in metallic gold. He sighs and hesitantly pushes the door open.

"Taekwoon! Where were you?! We were about to call you to make sure you weren't injured or anything!" A smooth voice filled the boy's ears as he looked down at the ground, avoiding the eyes of the five people in the room. "Sorry." The word leaves his mouth, quiet and faint, almost like a whisper as he quickly takes off his shoes and sets the aside the door. "Yah! Taekwoon, answer the question. Where were you?" The slightly hoarse voice followed shortly after, filled with hostility. "Practicing." He turned around slightly and closed the door with a soft click. His eyes looked up to scan the faces of his fellow members. Hakyeon's face softened as he locked eyes with the boy. "Ah, well.. Next time call or text us telling us that you'll be late. We were starting worry." The boy felt his eyes widen at the statement that left the leader's mouth. "Okay." He forced a small smile and silently walked towards his room that he shares with three of the members.

He softly closes the door behind him, slightly relieved as he realizes he's alone. The bag that was slung haphazard on his shoulder slides off and hits the ground with a loud thud. He reaches up towards his throat and slowly takes off his jacket, trying to extend the time he has alone. His long, slender fingers messily run through his silky black hair as he surveys the room that was neatly organized before he came in. He shrugs and leaves the room, deciding to go back to the room where the other members were sitting.

"Well, what do you want to watch?" A very annoyed voice was heard as he closed the door behind him. "I don't know, but I don't want to watch that!" I rolled my eyes as I rounded the corner. "You guys are noisy." Silence followed his voice. He looked up to see the members staring at him with wide eyes. "You.." The boy tilted his head in confusion. "You're.. Actually willing to.. Spend time with us?!" He lifted his hand and gestured back to the room he just came out of, "I came go back if you want me to.." The fair skinned boy sitting lazily on the couch threw the remote in his hand down beside him and shot up from his seat. "No! Stay!" His lips twitched up into a smile at the desperation in the younger's voice. "Alright, move over, then." The boys scooted over, leaving enough room for the boy to sit down between Jaehwan and Hakyeon who were previously argueing over what show to watch.

He looked over at the boy to his right, fighting the smile that was unconsciously tugging at the corners of his lips. "Leo, what do you want to watch?" Hyuk, the maknae stared at him with wide eyes, awaiting his answer. "Huh?" The sudden question had caught him off guard, snapping him back into reality and out of his mind. "Pay attention! Between Running Man and Weekly Idol what show do you want to watch? Maybe City Hunter? I heard that was a good drama..." The boy shrugged and averted his gaze down to his lap where he was fiddling with his hands. "I don't know." Annoyed groans erupted from the boys around him. "You're no help, Taekwoon! We've been debating this for over thirty minutes!" A soft chuckle escaped the boy's small lips, causing his roommates to gasp and give him weird looks. "L-Leo..." Arms suddenly wrapped around the boys neck from behind him. "He laughed! It's a miracle!" The smile he had been fighting crept onto his pale lips.

The four boys leapt onto Leo, practically crushing him under their added weight. Uncontrollable laughter filled the large room, even from the poker faced boy in the middle of the dog pile. An uneasy feeling started to nag the boy despite the upbeat atmosphere surrounding him. His smile faltered causing his laughter to stop. The boys who's arms were tightly wrapped around the boy's body noticed his sudden change in mood.

"What's wrong? You look like you saw a dog murdered in front of you." They backed away, worried for their main vocal. "I'm fine, guys. Just.. Remembered something I had to do in the morning. I'll go rest for a bit. See you in the morning.." The boy quickly stood up and walked towards his room, as if a ghost might be closely following behind.

"Is he okay, N? What if something bad happened to him?" The leader waved off the maknae's concerns, "I'm sure he's fine, Hyukie. He would tell us if it was something bad." Despite saying this, he felt uneasy. The boy had been acting strangely recently and he's worried that something might be going on without his knowledge. "Do you think he could be thinking about quitting? Maybe he's meeting with our manager to work out his contract.. Maybe.." The eldest shot the boy a glare, signaling him to stop talking. "I'm sure it's nothing, Jaehwan." Images of Leo's strange behavior flashed through his mind.

The boy had been coming in late with no heads up once a week, sometimes more and had been locking himself in his room less often. When he hung out with the rest of the group, he would seem lost in his own world. He would open up with them, but then suddenly close off and leave without another word. Something was off, but he couldn't pinpoint what.

Taekwoon stared up at the ceiling of his room as he laid down on his bed. He didn't know how he knew, but deep down he knew. There was no other explanation for his recent irregular behavior than that.

It was back. Stronger than before.
