This week's winner is newcomer to the community, Logine_Walid with Letters to Freedom.

The prompt was an open invitation for finding a meaning behind a letter, and purpose in it, which we believe is something that Letters to Freedom delivered remarkably.

In the confines of the short narrative, it introduces that core concept and fulfills it - a communication that inspires questions and provides answers which reflect in the state of the main character and represents the desire and requirements she has that need to be filled.

There were aspects of this concept that were downplayed, and perhaps given way altogether to attend to other elements of the story. It seems to run in parallel to another narrative that the character follows, and serves as veritable backbone to forming a coherent and compelling narrative about the nature of freedom and the role that individuals play in it.

If anything, we really appreciate the sentiment that letters can be a call-to-action for change, daring, development and, ultimately, growth.
