My names Ryu Nakamura and I'm a Metà, I am half Siamese cat and half human. I go to Hoseki Bara high school, and my life sucks.

My alarm goes off but as always I'm already wide awake. I reach over for the button and I turn it off. I get out of bed and I head to the bathroom. As I brush my teeth I turn on the water and play with the temperature until it's warm. After I head to the sink and rinse out my mouth, I start to take off my clothes and I neatly fold them to throw them with the dirty laundry later. I hop into the shower and let the water run down my hair and my back. I grab my caramel scented shampoo and pour some in my hands, I run it through my hair for about a minute then I let the water rinse it out. I grab my apple scented body wash and you know what. I rinse out the body wash off my body, but instead off getting out of the shower I stay there for a while as the water runs down my hair to my face. I look at my wrist watch, it read 7:12. School doesn't start till nine.......this watch how long have I had it, I've never taken it off my wrist, it's the only thing I have from my family before they abandoned me in a dumpster...

"RYU, come down and eat breakfast or you'll leave without eating anything!!!"

"Coming!!!"

I turn off the shower and grab my towel and wrap it around my waist. I look at my watch and it read 7:44. I mentally curse for zoning out again. It's been happening a lot lately and it's annoying.

After I dry myself off, I start changing. The Hoseki Bara high school's uniform isn't anything special, it's just a white button up shirt and black dressing pants, the accessories are up to the person. After I finish buttoning my shirt I grab my black vest and put it over my shirt.

"RYU, what is taking you so long.!!!"

"I'M COMING!!!, Jesus"

As I open the door to my room.

*SMACK*

I got hit in the face with a book.

"What the he- what was that for" I sweat drop and looked at my little sister, as she glared at me.

"You take to long, oh and your fliers down."

I blush and look down and hastily zip it up.

"You're not even supposed to look that low!"

"Can't help it I'm just that short!"

"That's it!"

I ran after down the stairs. As I was chasing her I knocked a very very VERY expensive vase in our house. I stoped and panicked I tryed to catch but I wouldn't make it, but then I noticed something else I was now falling to. But neither did the vase or me hit the ground. I opened my eyes that I just realised were closed on instinct. I was gently put on my feet again and the vase on it's stand. I looked up to see my brother Ichigo pinching the bridge of his nose.

After the vase and I were safely where we should be, he readjusted his glasses and looked at me with a pissed expression that read ' I'm gonna kill you if you don't act mature.' I sweat dropped and started walking the other way, but froze at the sudden arm that flung over my shoulder.

"Oi, ma nuke, it to early in the morning for this, please." I look at my brother, and I just notice dark circles under his eyes. "Look I get that Akari is annoying sometimes-"

"Sometimes"

"-ok all the time, but just, could you just endure it for the time being. Until we get to school, I was up all night studying."

"Again."

"Mhm"

"Ichigo your like the only person I know who studies voluntarily. Take a brake to chill out or something."

After giving a low growl Ichigo takes his arm from around my shoulder and walks away putting his hands in his pockets, hunched over a little. I head downstairs to get my breakfast. I glance at my watch and it read 8:23, I hurriedly stuff the bacon and eggs in my mouth and grab my toast. I run towards the door, almost choking, and grab my shoes.
