Kelsey

"It could be a side effect of shock." Parrish said. It sounded a little of an echo, even though we were on a room filled with hospital material.

"She's catatonic." Stiles corrected him. "It was Theo digging his way through her mind."

"Why would he do that? What is he looking for?" I asked.

"The same thing he's always looking for." Scott talked this time. "An advantage."

"So what did he gain by trying to kill Stilinski?"

"It left me alone with Liam." Scot explained. I just frowned. "Theo wanted to make sure no one would be there to stop him" He paused for a second and looked at me. "from killing me."

What did he mean with that? I was too tired to understand.

"Okay, so he gutted my dad as a distraction." Stiles spoke without looking at Scott.

"We need to find this kid."

"Isn't that a little dangerous?" Asked Melissa. "Especially since he almost killed my kid?"

"Yeah, but he said he didn't want his dad to die." I talked nodding towards Stiles.

"And you believe him?"

"He told me where to find him." I added.

"So, maybe he also knows how to save him."

"What do you want to do? Talk to him?"

"If it saves my dad, then yeah." Stiles looked at all of us.

"I'll come with you." Scott told him. "He doesn't know that I'm alive. Maybe that gives us an advantage."

"He'll know you're there. I just need to talk to him. Not fight him."

"Can I go with you then?" I asked him.

"You just kicked his ass and left him unconscious." Scott made me look at him. "He'll try to kill you if he sees you, I don't know why he hasn't tried yet."

"Yeah, so you just stay away from him before he tries to find you." Stiles turned around ready to leave but Melissa stopped him.

"Stiles, you can't go alone."

"Does anyone even know how to find him?" Parrish asked confused.

"We don't have to find him." Stiles looked at us. "He'll come to me."

"I don't want to leave after what happened." He said once I closed my bedroom door and finally broke the silence that had followed us since we left the hospital. Stiles had drove us home and told us to rest, what we did without complaining.

I looked at him, at his tired eyes. He stopped looking down and stared back at me, making my heart beat faster. We were finally back together. After everything we'd been through.

"Well, you don't have to leave." I moved closer to him as I talked. I truly didn't want to let him go. I didn't want to separate from him ever again. "I don't want you to leave."

I gently placed my hands on his shoulders once we were inches apart. We both leaned in until our lips touched. He wrapped his arms around my waist as we kissed. I moved my hands up and cupped his cheeks. I let out a quiet moan, as our lips kept moving in synchronization. I couldn't explain how much I had missed that. Liam pulled away after a moment and rested his forehead on mine.

"I've missed you a lot." He whispered with his eyes closed.

"Yeah..."

"Kelsey..." He nervously talked. "I swear to God, right after I kissed Hayden I realized the mistake I'd done."

I sighed. I don't know if that was what had him so quiet that night, but he needed to understand that we had already talk about that.

"I know Liam. I don't doubt you." I said after I sweetly kissed him. He simply nodded and I stared at him. "Don't you doubt me?"

"Why would I?"

"Liam, I've done really bad things. Everything Theo told me to do."

"That wasn't you, you know it." He said but added more words. "And I know it"

"Yeah but I still remember." I shook my head. He was way too focused on making me forgive him and had forgotten about the things I've done. "He ordered me to told him or do something and then reward me with affection."

"What kind of affection?" He frowned.

"You know, like..."

"Wait, you-" He cut me off and I realized what that sounded like.

"No! Gosh, Liam. No." I covered my face with my hands as I shook it. I let out a chuckle before Liam took my hands away from my face. He was looking at me with a serious expression.

"Great. Because I should be the only one to..." He got closer to me with every word until our lips touched again. "Kiss you." He whispered against my lips and kissed me. I felt his hand moving my hair away from my neck. "And..." He pulled away, caressing my neck and shoulder giving me goosebumps. "Touch you." He gently kissed my neck as I felt his hands moving to my lower back. "And hold you." He lifted me up and I wrapped my legs around his waist.

We kept kissing until Liam laid me on my bed, him on top of me. We pulled away to breath but I stopped him before he could kiss me again.

"You forgot the most important." I stared into his eyes. "You should be the only one to love me." I said smiling weakly. "We both should be the only ones to love each other."

"I love you."

"I love you."

Mason

I knocked on the door for the fourth time. That was it, if they didn't open it, I was going to leave. Liam's dad told me they were here. I had gone to his house, to the hospital and now to Kelsey's house. I swear I am going to give up if he's not here.

I heard footsteps behind the door and a few seconds after Kelsey opened the door with a radiant look on her face.

"Finally." I sighed. "What took you so long?"

"I'm sorry, we were asleep." She said with a giant. She looked strange. Well, not really strange, just different.

"So, Liam is here, right?" I asked and she just nodded. She indicated me to follow her upstairs and I stepped into the house closing the door behind me.

I followed her to her room, where Liam was sitting on the edge of the bed tying his shoes. He got up and looked at me with a smile as big as Kelsey's. Okay, what the heck?

"Why are you guys in such a good mood? Last night was terrifying."

I felt bad because their faces dramatically changed after my words left my mouth. But it was true. I didn't know the reason of their suddenly happiness, and it was great they were happy, but all around them had fallen down.

"Yeah, you're right." Kelsey said looking down. "I'm gonna go to the bathroom for a second." She left the room and I looked back at Liam.

"Liam, I talked to your father." He looked at me in surprise. "He told me to tell you that nobody named Hayden has been brought into the hospital." He sadly looked away from me as he nodded. "He told me you asked." I added. "Why?"

"I smelled her scent." Small tears were staring to form on his eyes. "In the hospital."

"Dude, we both know where Hayden's body is." I told him. "And if you want to find her, you're going to have to find the Nemeton."

"Okay." He simply said. Kelsey got out of the bathroom right after Liam had talked. She looked at me and then at Liam, confused. "Let's find the Nemeton." Liam said and walked out of the room, leaving us alone.

"I need to learn to shut up." I sighed. Why did I have to say that?

"Yeah." Kelsey agreed as we looked at each other before following Liam.

Kelsey

The library was destroyed. Broken tables, books on the floor, papers everywhere...

I looked at Liam. He was staring at the debris devastated. I felt his emotions coming out of him, really bad emotions. Fear, regret, sadness, shame, guilt. And the list went on. I remembered what Scott said in the hospital. He said Liam tried to kill him. Was it true? Was he the one who had destroyed the library?

It was unbelievable how the slightest moment of happiness can disappear in just a second. We had the most incredible night last night. We showed how much we loved each other. We woke up this morning feeling so amazing, remembering every touch and every caress. But everything disappeared when we remembered everything else. Everything around us was messed up. Lydia was hurt, Hayden was dead, Stiles dad was fighting for his life, Kira was still missing, and the worst of all, Theo was out there. He was out there and he was going to come for revenge.

"Guys." Mason called us. I left my thoughts aside for a moment and noticed the book he had in his hands. I looked at Liam, who seemed to also have been lost in his thoughts. "All right." Mason placed the book in one of the few tables that weren't broken. We imitated Mason and walked forwards the table. I held Liam's hand as we walked and even though I knew he looked at me, I didn't return the glance. Not because I was mad at him or something, just because it wasn't the time but I knew he needed a hand to hold.

"This is the one." Mason opened the book and showed us a map of Beacon Hills full of lines. "You see these. These are Ley Lines."

"They're mapped according to telluric currents." I explained, remembering what Lydia told me once. "Stiles said that he and Lydia were looking at the intersections."

"Probably..." We traced the lines that intersected in the Nemeton. "This one."

"But they never found it." Liam said. "They kept going out there to look, but they said the Nemeton has to want to be found."

"It's a supernatural tree that has to want to be found in order for you to see it?" Mason asked incredulous.

"Yeah." Liam and I nodded.

"That's awesome." Mason smiled. "We should just make a copy-"

Before he could even finish, Liam ripped the page off the book and made he's way to the exit. I kind of expected it, but it still surprised me. Mason didn't expect that at all. He looked at the book in shock and closed it. He looked at me still in shock and shook his head.

"Let's go."

"This is it." I said after ten minutes of looking around. "There should be a clearing here."

"Maybe the clearing doesn't want to be found either." Mason mumbled but I heard him. And surely Liam did too.

"I'm going to look over there." I told them and walked a few meters away.

I knew why I was there. In the woods. Trying to find a tree surrounded by dead people. I just wanted to focus on anything else that wasn't related to Lydia. And Liam should do the same, but maybe he finally convinces himself by seeing Hayden's dead body.

I couldn't save her.

Liam's voice interrupted my thoughts. I stopped and focused on their conversation.

No one could. I was standing right there. Melissa did everything medically possible.

While I was trying to kill Scott.

My heart skipped a beat once I heard it. It was really true.

You can't take all the blame. I mean, there was, like, 800 extenuating circumstances.

It wasn't just the moon.

Then it was losing Hayden.

It wasn't just Hayden.

What?

This had happened before, you know. I almost lost Kelsey In Mexico. I cared for Hayden and I knew she wasn't going to wake up again after dying.

I heard Liam's heartbeat going faster. I didn't know he felt like that.

I just wanted to protect her.

I think you just wanted to protect her because you couldn't protect Kelsey.

Mason said and made Liam sigh. I sighed too. This was a lot to take.

But I obviously failed.

Look, you were in fear, anger, and Theo took advantage of it.

Or maybe it was just me.

Liam, you're a werewolf. There was a full moon, a Super moon. And you can't let yourself –

Mason stopped talking in mid-sentence and I frowned.

The Nemeton's a beacon for supernatural creatures, right?

Well, yeah, that would be a way to describe it.

So what if it takes a supernatural creature to find it.

Something clicked in my head. We had been searching with our human eyes. I closed my eyes and focused. I started breathing heavily and I opened my eyes. Everything was red and distorted. And there, between to trees, I found it.

"Guys!" I yelled, not looking away, but feeling how my eyes went back to normal. "Guys!"

"Kelsey!" Liam called me as he spotted me. "What's wrong?" He followed my gaze and saw it too.

"What?" Mason arrived behind us.

"Look."

"I don't see any-" He couldn't finish the sentence. It was too...

"Intense."
