Yesterday afternoon there was another mass shooting at a Baptist church in Sutherland Springs, Texas. So far 26 people have died(including a girl as young as 5 and the pastor's daughter) and many more have been hospitalized.

One man(not even at the church, someone across the street) exchanged fire that led the shooter to flee. The man ran up to a man in a truck, quickly explained what happened, got in the truck, and the two(not police officers) pursued the shooter. I am thankful that they were at least able to help bring an end to this sooner.

Still, I don't even know what to think or do. This is a horrible event and I'm disgusted that anyone would be able to hurt so many people like this.

We all need to pray for the victims and their families right now so that they can make it through this difficult time. I can't even imagine how much these people must be hurting.

They were at church to worship God, and now they're dead. I'm praying that their families can find strength and that the country comes together to support each other and help the families rather than politicize such a terrible crime.

Right now we need to be there for our fellow Americans.
