Carmen's POV-

"I hope Grandma and Grandpa are OK," Seb says to me.

I nod. "Hey Seb," I whisper.

His head comes closer to mine. "Can you and Raphael go and find Hannah and Gia? But please take your time," I whisper to him.

He nods. "Oh, I know who you kissed," he whispers as he gets up.

I blush. "Come on, Raphael. We need to find Hannah and Gia," Sebastian says.

Raphael gets up and leaves with Sebastian, leaving Hunter and I alone.

"Carmen, we're, I'm glad you're OK," he says quietly.

I nod. "Hunter, we really need to talk," I whisper.

"OK," he says.

"Just so you know, Hunter, I like you," I say and see his face brightening up. "But I also like Raphael."

His face falls. "Oh," is all he says.

"Hey. I know you both like me, so let's just call it a love triangle," I say trying to lighten the mood up.

He smiles a little. "I want you to know that I'll always be there for you," he says. "Even if you don't want me."

I smile, knowing he will be. "Hey, Hunter. I just want you to know that I loved the kiss," I tell him.

"Probably more than Raphael's," I whisper.

He blushes. I don't think he heard the last part. He comes closer to me. His head leans down and his lips reach mine. I kiss him back. I close my eyes as I put my arm around his neck. "Carmen- ahhhh!" Sebastian says.

Hunter stops kissing me and jumps backward. "Sebastian!" I yell.

"Carmen! What were you just doing?" Sebastian asks.

"Well, what does it look like?!" I say.

"Like you were, um, kissing Hunter," he says, eyes wide open.

I roll my eyes. "You are the most immature person I have ever met!" I yell.

Right after that, Raphael, Gia, and Hannah come in. I look at Gia and Hannah. They nod. "Boys, get out of here. Us girls need to have a chat," Gia says.

Raphael leaves first. Sebastian grumbles as he leaves. And Hunter walks very slowly out. "OK," Hannah says. "Spill."

"I just kissed Hunter. Again!" I squeal.

"Yay!" Hannah says.

"But if he ever hurts you, he's going down," Gia says.

"Yeah, I know. I doubt he would though. And Sebastian is so immature!" I say.

They both nod. "So, do you who you like better?" Hannah asks me.

I nod. The two girls smile at me. "Now, let's get onto the other topic," Gia says. "Do you know who made you fall?"

I shake my head. "Too bad," Hannah says.

"Man! I could've hurt them for ya!" Gia says. I can tell that she is a daughter of Mars.

Hannah and I laugh. Suddenly, Chiron walks into the room. "Carmen," he says.

Hannah and Gia start go get up but Chiron says, "You two might want to stay with her."

They nod and sit down. "What is it?" I ask him.

"Its about your grandparents," Chiron says. "I'm so sorry, Carmen. They are dead."

What? "How?" I ask quietly.

"Someone tortured them," he says.

I start crying. "Did you tell Seb?" I ask him.

He nods. "Tell him to come here," I tell him and he trots off.

I lean my head back and I feel someone pat my leg. Sebastian comes running in and I move over in the bed so he can lay with me. He lays down and hugs me. I bury my head in his shoulder. "Hey, we are going to leave you two alone," Gia says.

I nod. "How could they do this?" I ask him.

"I don't know," he whispers.

"Why would The Monster do this?"

"I don't know," he says.

I lift my head and say, "I'm sorry for getting your shirt wet."

He smiles and says, "It's fine."
