Percy's POV-

Mom can't have been hurt!

"Wise Girl, we should leave the camp and go find Mom!" I say frantically.

"Percy, we will soon. Its going to be OK," she soothes.

"How do you know?"

"I don't. Its just a positive attitude I learned years ago to have," she says and smiles.

"Annabeth, I don't know how you do it," I say.

She shrugs and walks over to Chiron. I walk over to her and place a hand on her shoulder. "Chiron, we need to leave now," Annabeth says.

Chiron nods. "Argus will drive you two," Chiron says.

"Thank you," I tell him.

He looks at me and says, "Your welcome."

"Oh, and Iris Message us if Carmen gets worse, please," I say.

"You guys will be the first to know if she goes downhill," he says and smiles warmly at us.

I nod. We walk down Half-Blood Hill and I see Argus waiting for us. I open the car door and Annabeth gets in. I get in after her and I say, "Step on it, Argus."

He nods and puts the car into gear. I lean my head back and sigh. This is going to be a long day.

Finally, we make it to Mom's apartment. Her and Paul's car is out front, still with the Pegasus hoofprints on the hood. I smile at that. I walk up to the door and knock. The door opens when I knock. I walk in slowly looking around.

There is blood all over the house. I unconsciously grab Riptide and uncap it. Annabeth is behind me, grabbing her bone sword. I walk forward and see some legs sticking out in the next room. I can't tell who it is because they are barefoot.

I walk to that room and Paul Blofis is lying there, dead. Annabeth comes up behind me and gasps.

"Paul," I whisper and bend down, closing his eyes. There is a bullet wound on his right temple. I hear groaning from the master bedroom and I run there.

"Mom!" I say and run over to the bed.

Her eyes are barely open, there is blood everywhere.

"Percy?" she whispers.

"Mom, you're going to be OK!" I say frantically.

"No, Percy. I-I'm dying," she says, blood coming out of her mouth at the corners.

"But you can't! Don't you want to see Sebastian and Carmen again?" I ask, tears falling freely.

"I d-d-do," she says and her breathing gets more labored.

"Mom, please don't go!" I whisper.

"I love you, Percy," she says and her eyes become lifeless.

"Mom!" I scream. "Come on, please. You can't be dead!"

I start sobbing and Annabeth wraps her arms around me. I notice she is crying too.

"Percy, we have to leave," she says quietly.

"Can we bring the bodies with?" I ask.

"Maybe," she says. "Let me go Iris Message Chiron. I'll be back."

She leaves the room and I'm left with Mom. I close her eyes too and sit down on the bed. I remember her last words to me.

"I love you too, Mom," I say and kiss her forehead, knowing that she can't hear or feel me.

So, how was that? I know it probably broke your feels. It broke mine while writing that. But you guys need to prepare for more feels breaking because a ton of people are going to die. And I'm sorry for the short chapter! Hope you guys like it!
