Hunter's POV-

My head pops up into the treehouse and I see Carmen, Hannah, and Gia.

"What are you doing here?" Carmen asks, blushing. "You didn't hear what we were talking about, did you?"

I shake my head even though I heard everything. Carmen sighs. I sit down in front of the girls.

"So, what were you guys talking about?" I ask.

"Nothing," Gia says quickly.

Ah. They won't tell. "OK, OK," I tell them. "You guys don't have to tell me."

Hannah nods. I lay down and casually say, "What do you girls like in a guys personality?"

They all blush slightly. "Well," Carmen says, "I like a guy who is funny. Who is very sweet. Who is nice to a woman. Who is just perfect."

My body language is casual but on the inside, I'm jumping for joy. "Well, I would like a guy who is shy but opens up after awhile," Hannah says.

"Well, I like a guy who is in charge and not afraid to do something," Gia says. "What do you look for in a girl's personality?"

"I like a girl who is quick to answer, who has a snappy comeback, who doesn't know that she is very pretty, and who does like to speak her mind," I tell them truthfully.

Hannah nods. "That's good," she says with a quick glance at Carmen. I prop my head on my arm and look at all the girls.

My blonde hair falls in front of my eyes. Carmen flicks it out of my eyes. I blush slightly. "Well, I gotta get going," I tell the girls.

"OK," Carmen says. "See you later."

I nod and climb down the ladder. I sit up against the base of the tree and sigh. I rest my head on the trunk and close my eyes.

"Hunty!" I hear Diana say and soon enough, she's sitting on my lap.

"Yes, sweety?" I ask.

"Daddy needs you," Diana tells me.

I sigh and get up, while picking Diana up. I walk out of the forest and go to the Zeus cabin. I walk in and see Dad sitting on the floor. "You needed me, Dad?" I ask.

He looks up at me and says, "Yeah I do. Diana, sweetheart, go to Mommy for the moment."

Diana nods and leaves. I sit down next to Dad. I look at Dad and notice something different. "What's wrong Dad?" I ask him, slightly worried.

"Your Aunt Thalia is dead," he whispers.

I stare at him. "You're kidding me, right?"

"No, Hunter, I'm not," Dad says quietly.

A tear rolls down his face. I wrap my arm around Dad's shoulder and he starts crying for real. "Its going to be OK, Dad," I tell him. "You have Mom, Diana, and me."

Dad nods. He wipes his eyes and stands up. I stand up too. I hug him and he hugs back. "Thank you Hunter," Dad whispers to me.

"Your welcome, Dad," I tell him. I am extremely sad, but I got to be strong for Dad.

We stop hugging and we walk outside. "Does anybody else know?" I ask Dad.

He shakes his head. "Well, we have to tell Mom, Percy, and Annabeth," I tell him.

He nods. I think he's in shock.

"How about I tell Mom, Percy, and Annabeth while you rest," I suggest. He only nods and walks toward the Zeus cabin.

I sigh and start to find them. I walk to the Big House and see all three of them. "Hey, Mom, Percy, Annabeth, I need to tell you guys something," I tell them.

Mom gives me a concerned look. "Aunt Thalia is dead," I tell them.

Mom looks shocked and Annabeth looks like she I going to cry. "Where's your father?" Mom asks me.

"In the Zeus cabin," I tell her and she leaves to go talk to him.

"Do you know how?" Percy asks me after wrapping an arm around Annabeth.

"No I don't," I tell him. Annabeth starts crying, so I leave.

I walk around, trying to clear my head. Nope, not working. Only one thing to do: spend some time with my best buds.

"Why do you need us?" Raphael asks.

Why is he being grumpy? "I need to tell you guys something," I tell them.

"My-" I start to say but Raphael interrupts me.

"I kissed Carmen," he says quickly.

I stare at him with my mouth open. "Why?" I ask quietly.

He glares at me. "Because I can," he tells me.

Sebastian stares at the both of us. "Why did you kiss my sister?" he asks Raphael.

"Um, the moment?" Raphael squeaks.

Sebastian glares at the both of us. "I know you both like her. I can see it in the looks you give her. Don't you dare hurt her though," he says and it gets deathly quiet.

"And I think one of you love her and she loves one of you," he adds. "I don't think the one who loves her knows it yet."

I narrow my eyes at Raphael. It was a big mistake talking them. "What were you gonna tell us?" Sebastian asks, breaking the silence.

"Oh, my Aunt Thalia is dead," I say quietly.

"I'm sorry," Sebastian says.

Raphael says nothing. "It's harder for Dad, but it is still hard for me," I tell Sebastian.

"Its really hard for Mom," Sebastian says.

I nod. I look down at my lap. I feel hand on my shoulder and see it's Sebastian. "It's going to alright," he tells me.

I nod again. "I have to go," Raphael suddenly.

I glare at him. He leaves and I sigh. I hope this doesn't end our friendship.
