I gasp and cover my mouth with my hand.

"Why?" Amelia whispers.

"Why do all monsters attack?" Chiron counters. "We need to tell the whole camp and send Gia and Jeremiah back to Camp Jupiter."

Hunter nods.

"Then let's do it," Raphael says calmly.

We leave the Big house and Chiron gallops away. We gather the whole camp at the dining pavilion. "Everyone!" I yell.

Everybody gets quiet. Hannah gives me a questioning look. I shake my head. "War is upon us!" I yell to them.

"The Monster has attacked near Long Island Sound," Raphael says. "Which means, near us."

I hear someone gasp. "Now you guys have to get ready to fight and defend the Camp," Hunter says.

One boy nods and everyone heads to their cabins. Mom and Dad walk up to me. "Mom, Dad. Are you two going to fight?" I ask them.

"Of course we are!" Dad says. I sigh.

"Try not to get hurt then," I tell them.

"I wouldn't get hurt," Dad says. "Because I'm the mighty Perseus Jackson!"

"And I'm the mighty Annabeth Jackson!" Mom says, copying Dad. I laugh.

"You're the best mom and dad ever!" I say, laughing. They hug me and I hug them back. "I love you both so much!"

"I love you too," they both whisper. We hug and I feel arms around me.

"I love you guys so much," Sebastian says. "Now don't die on me."

We all quit hugging and I run toward Chiron. "Has Gia and Jeremiah left yet?" I ask him.

"Yes they have," he tells me.

"Man, I wanted to say bye to them," I say.

"Too bad. Now let's gather the whole Camp, again, so we can go attack the Monster," Sebastian says.

I sigh and nod.

"Camp Half-Blood," I start out. "We need to use all of our strength to defeat this monster."

"Don't forget about me," I hear someone say. I look to my left and see Hecate. "I'm going to help as well."

"Is all the gods and goddesses going to help?" I ask.

"Yes," she says. "They just have to prepare. Or in Aphrodite's case, get dressed in the appropriate clothes."

I laugh a little. "Camp! We need to fight our best! We will take down The Monster!"

Everyone cheers. I look at everyone as they cheer and see them ready with their armor on. My heart swells with pride for Camp Half-Blood.

"He will DIE!" Coach Hedge says. Everyone laughs at him and Mellie just kisses his cheek.

I lead Camp up Half-Blood Blood Hill and we leave the safety of the borders. Soon, I see fire spreading all around New York. I see Cyclops marching toward us. "Attack!" I yell.

I look at Hecate and she nods. I start sprinting toward the Cyclops. Mom and Dad run towards one together. I sprint to one and stab it in the leg. It yells and swings its meaty hand at me. I duck and Hunter flies at it, swinging his sword. It hits the Cyclops right in the head and it disintegrates into gold dust. "Thanks," I say and he nods.

Soon, we take out all of the Cyclops. We walk forward, Hunter and I leading the group. I see a lot of monsters up ahead with something huge in the middle.

"I think we made it to the battle scene," Hunter remarks.

"No kidding," I tell him.

"I am Menoetius, son of Iapetus and Clymene," the thing in the middle bellows. "I have finally come back from Tartarus. Zeus banished me there in the First Titan War. I am the titan of violent anger, rash actions, and human mortality."

"No," Chiron says. "He can't be back."

"He is, Chiron," Hecate says. The Monster, Menoetius, laughs and bends down so we can all see his face.

"Little Greeks trying to kill me," he says. "Hilarious."

Anger boils inside of me. "Well, you called us here. By attacking our home, we came to defeat you," I say.

He laughs again. "Why little Carmen, you're just the small picture in this painting. I wasn't the one who brought you here. It was Amelia Johnson!" he bellows.

"What?" I ask, turning around to find Amelia in the crowd. Amelia walks forward with an evil smile on her face.

"Oh Carmen," she says, "you believed me even after I left. He didn't take me. I left by myself."

"Amelia?" Raphael asks, horror written on his face.

"Raphael, I was only acting when I saw you," Amelia says. Raphael looks hurt. He suddenly runs up to her and kisses her. She pushes him away after a few seconds.

"I'm so sorry," she says, pain evident on her face. "And I lied. I wasn't acting when I saw you."

She smiles sadly at him. She turns around and yells, "And how dare you take me away from the boy I love and the people I love!"

Menoetius looks surprised. "Amelia, you hate them. Don't you remember saying that?" Menoetius says to her.

She shuts her eyes and shakes her head. "I will not listen to you anymore," she says and launches herself at the titan.

Everyone around me starts attacking all the monsters around us. I move out of my trance and attack the thing closest to me. Its an empusa.

"Ah, Percy Jacksons daughter," it says. "I've fought your father before and I wonder if you're as wimpy as he was!"

I growl and launch myself at her, swinging my sword. It passed through her and she had a look of surprise before she disintegrated.

"I've seen you met my old friend Kelli," I hear Dad say. I nod and move onto my next victim.
