Miraculous Ladybug AU!

^^Love these pics^^

Keith sighed softly, resting his cheek on the heel of his hand as he stared at the back of his crush's head...

Until he got a quick elbow-jab into his side. "Pay attention." His best friend teased as he huffed and rubbed at the forming bruise. "I know you think he's the best, but you need to pass this class." Pidge scolded playfully as she scrolled on her phone.

"As if you're any different." Keith, grumbled, slumping in his seat. "You're always either staring at your phone or daydreaming of Shiro's rock hard abs."

Pidge rolled her eyes. "I don't daydream. I am, however, making top marks in this class... And all my other classes." She smirked and Keith scowled. "Pay attention and you will, too. Just stop staring at Lance."

"Easier said than done..."

~

Keith's heart fluttered and a small smile curled his lips as Lance flooded his mind. He looked at his wall covered in posters and magazine clippings of Lance.

The famous boy model, son of famous fashion designer, Zarkon.

At first, Keith though Lance was as bad as Nyma; a.k.a. the worst person alive... But then, Lance had apologized for something he hadn't even done. Keith's been practically head-over-heels since.

Keith jolted and pivoted to look out his window as screams sounded. "Galra attack!"

~

"My Ladybug has arrived!" Chat Noir cried giddily, adjusting the size of his staff. "At last I can shower my purr-ince with affection!"

Keith rolled his eyes and pulled out his yoyo. "Did you notice any weaknesses, or were You just waiting for me, Chat?"

Chat's blue eyes glimmered. "My Ladybug, I may have waited for you, but I wouldn't have made you do all the work when you arrived. It's his arm. Well, it's on his arm."

The Galra stood down on the ground, sneering up at the two superheroes. "I am Sendak!" He screamed, lashing out his arm that was the size of his heavily built torso. "I serve Hawk Moth! I vowed to bring him your miraculous'!"

"Yeah, yeah!" Chat mocked, waving his hand. "Don't get your tail in a twist." Sendak screamed indignantly. Chat snickered. "Kitty's got claws."

Keith groaned and shook his head. "Hush, Chat. Let's just get this Galra."

"Got it! I'll make a diversion! You attack from behind."

"Right!"

~

Keith hummed as he got his pajamas on. Tikki sat on the windowsill, munching happily on her cookie.

"You've seriously got to confess to him, Keith." Pidge grumbled over the phone as she typed her essay.

Keith sighed. "Pidge, I love you, but you really gotta stop trying to get me to,confess. He doesn't even know I exist."

"Then why did he apologize that one time? Why does he smile at you when you wave at him?" Pidge asked, and He could practically hear her smirking.

"Fine." Keith huffed, cheeks red. "I'll confess when you confess."

Pidge was silent for a moment, then her chair creaked as she leaned back. "Touché."

Keith chuckled. "I'll talk to you tomorrow, Pidge."

"Alright, I'll leave you to your wet dreams of Lance."

"Fuck you, Pidge!"

"No thanks. Night!" Then she hung up. Keith groaned and fell on his bed.

Tikki giggled and glided over. "She tease you about Lance, again?" Keith nodded. Tikki patted his head. "It's okay, Keith."

The teen rolled over and sighed. "Tikki... Do you think Lance - or even Chat - will be disappointed when they find out Ladybug is... Me?"

The kwami hummed and nestled into the pillow. "I'm not sure, Keith. I just know that Chat loves you."

"Loves Ladybug."

"He wants to get to know all of you, so I'm pretty sure he loves you."

Keith whined, then sat up as a shadow fluttered across his window. He got off his bed and peeked out. Chat stood two roofs away. "Stay here, Tikki." Keith whispered, and climbed out onto the deck. Chat wasn't too far off, so he was sure to here him. "Chat?"

The hero shrieked and jumped, his footing lost so he slipped and fell down the other side of the roof he was on. Keith almost panicked until Chat launched himself with his staff and landed on the railing of Keith's deck. "My Prince!" Chat greeted with a grin, stepping down.

Keith rolled his eyes and crossed his arms. "What are you doing out here? It's late."

"I should say the same thing."

"I was about to get in bed when I saw you."

A smirk grew on Chat's face as he leaned closer. "Were you worried about me, princey?"

"No."

Chat snickered and folded his arms over his chest. "Sure sounds like it, but who am I to say?" Keith sighed. Chat then looked down and his smirk faltered. "But... To answer your question... I was getting away from my family."

Keith frowned and stepped closer. "Did something happen?"

Chat went to shake his head, but then he paused, then nodded. "Yeah... My d-... My parents expect a lot out of me. People say I have such a good, privillaged life and shouldn't be the way I am about it, but... Sometimes I wish I was someone else. I like being Chat Noir. It's a chance for me to be me and not what everyone expects me to be. I don't want to be that person, even if everyone loves him... I want to be me..."

Keith took Chat's hands. "You sound like you have a lot of pressure on your shoulders."

The hero nodded, tears building in his sad blue eyes. "And it sucks because even as a hero, people expect a lot from me and I'm in Ladybug's shadow so I'm overlooked - don't get me wrong, I love Ladybug - and I have to sneak away and hide everything, and I just... It's hard... And I can't say anything to Ladybug because what if he gets mad at me and takes it the wrong way? What if he-"

"Stay for a while." Keith cut off Chat, surprising them both. Keith gulped and looked away at one of his pots of flowers. "Stay for a while, and be yourself. I don't expect anything from you, and I think you're better than Ladybug."

"No one is better than Ladybug."

"Except for you." Keith muttered, looking back up at Chat. "You have such a difficult life, Chat, yet you still smile and only think about others. Ladybug can be selfish sometimes and I bet his life is better and less stressful than yours. So, stay for a while... I'll let you be yourself and I promise I won't expect anything from you."

A small smile grew on Chat's lips and he wiped at his eyes. "Okay... I'd like that..."

Keith smiled in return. "Good."

~

"What's with the goofy smile?" Pidge grumbled, poking Keith's cheek with her pencil. "Did Lance talk to you or something?"

Keith sighed. "He's been smiling at me all day. Every time he sees me, he waves and smiles. He has such a nice smile."

Pidge laughed and nudged him. "Go talk,to him, doofus. I'll go take Shiro away so you two can have some alone time."

The older teen yelped as Pidge grabbed his wrist and dragged him along.

"Shiro! Lance! I need help!" Pidge shouted, gaining their attention. "I need someone tall and strong to- hey! You're tall and strong!" Pidge exclaimed, releasing Keith to grab Shiro. "You'll help me. Come on, it's super urgent." She pulled a confused, but willing, Shiro along, leaving Keith alone with Lance, tossing a wink over her shoulder.

Keith gulped, his face undoubtedly bright red to match his jacket and boots.

Lance chuckled and rubbed the back of his neck. "I will never understand her." He confessed. "Pidge is strange, but I suppose you know that."

Keith nodded. "Y-yeah... She is my best friend after all."

The taller boy laughed. "So she is. Have you seen Hunk around? I haven't talked to him all day."

"He was sitting with Shay and her brother earlier."

"Okay..."

Both boys went silent, not really knowing what to say to the other. Lance then slowly reached out and ruffled Keith's hair. "I'll see you around, Keith." He said, then walked off.

It was silent for a moment, then-

"KEITH! ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME!?"

~

Chat came by again that night. Keith was already on the balcony. They sat by each other, leaning on the railing as they stared at the stars.

"I love the stars..." Chat breathed, taking Keith's hand in his own clawed hand.

Keith hummed as his hand was enveloped in warmth. "Me too."

They sat quietly a moment longer, then Chat shuffled around until he was laying with his head resting in Keith's lap. Keith raised a brow down ar him. "What're you doing?"

"Seeing if the stars are in your eyes." He answered simply. "Purr-fect. Just as I thought." Keith smiled softly as Chat reached up with his other hand. "You do have stars in your eyes."

Keith huffed in amusement, carding his fingers through Chat's messy hair. "My eyes are definitely not that pretty."

Chat hummed. "You're right... They're not pretty. They're beautiful." Red crept up Keith's neck to his cheeks and ears. Chat smiled, brushing his knuckles over Keith's cheek. "You're beautiful, Keith."

Keith gulped and bit his lip. He glanced away. "I thought you were in love with Ladybug?"

The taller boy chuckled. "I am... Can I not compliment my friend?"

The way Keith's heart dropped hurt. "I... Suppose you can."

Chat smiled. He didn't realize he hurt Keith. He leaned up and pressed his lips to Keith's cheek. "I should go. May I come again?" Keith smiled and nodded. "Thanks, Keith. I'll see you, soon."

Keith watched Chat leave, launching himself from rooftop-to-rooftop with his staff. He stood and folded his arms over the railing. Tikki fluttered up to him and nestled into his shoulder. "Keith?" She asked, petting his hair. "Something wrong?"

"I... Don't know... I just- I feel like... It hurt to say he loved Ladybug after saying that I'm beautiful."

"What's wrong with that? He's saying he loves you?"

Keith sighed, looking at the street below. "No, Tikki. He loves Ladybug. I'm not Ladybug. Ladybug isn't the real me like Chat is the real... Him. Ladybug is just a small part of me. He loves just a part of me that isn't even real...." Keith stared, then slapped his cheeks. "Why am I getting so upset about this!? I love Lance!" Tikki giggled. "Come on, Tikki. Let's get to bed. I have that stupid test tomorrow that I never studied for!'

~

"Look out!" Keith gasped and lashed out with his yoyo. The cord wrapped around a civilian and pulled them out of the way of rubble. Once they were safe, Keith gathered his yoyo string and launched himself onto the rooftop.  "Where is Chat!?" He shouted, ducking as a car flew at him.

"This way! Hurry, hurry!" A familiar voice shouted. At first, Keith thought it was Chat. Keith leapt down and followed the voice until he saw Lance leading a small group of children. Lance held the smallest child while holding another child's hand. Paparazzi snapped pictures, of course. Keith's breath caught and his heart leapt. "Come on. Ladybug will-" Lance looked up. "Ladybug!"

The children gasped and turned around to face the superhero. Keith offered a smile. "Stay safe. Head down that corner and I'll take the Galra down the other way."

The children nodded and Lance smiled. "You stay safe, too, Ladybug."

Keith blushed and nodded, rushing away before his heart burst. Then he was sad all over again. Even Lance loved Ladybug more than he loved Keith.

Next was Pidge, even though he knew he was more important to her than her obsession with Ladybug.

~

Keith slumped over his desk, Pidge poking his shoulder with the eraser part of her pencil. "I think Keith's dead, Shiro."

Shiro chuckled, but didn't say anything.

Keith grumbled under his breath. Chat had come to visit again the previous night, and Keith was hurt even more without letting it show. Chat went on and on about how amazing Ladybug was.

"What was that?" Pidge snickered, leaning closer. "I didn't quite hear you."

"Oh, hush, Pidge." Keith sighed, sitting up. "I had a rough night last night."

And of course, Pidge's mind went there. She snorted and slapped her hands over her mouth. "Oh, yeah?" She giggled and poked his side. "I thought you were a virgin, Keith. Guess not anymore."

Keith's face went bright red and he swatted her hand away as Shiro tried to cover his soft laughter. "I am!" He shouted, a little too loudly.

"You're what?" Nyma placed a heavily decorated hand on his desk and leaned over. "You're what, Kogane?"

Pidge scowled and looked ready to chunk a stack of books while Keith sighed and his shoulders dropped. "Ladybug." He sarcastically muttered, knowing Nyma looked up to his alter ego.

Nyma went red and she drew back as if burned while Pidge and Hunk burst out laughing. "Excuse you!" Nyma indignantly cried. "Ladybug is way better than you'll ever b- Lancey-poo!" She cut off to coo and skipped over to the tan boy as he walked in. She latched to his arm and he offered a weak smile. "I was getting worried, Lancelot. You were almost late."

Lance chuckled and scratched the back of his head sheepishly. "Yeah, sorry Nyma. I just had trouble sleeping last night."

Keith's eyes followed Lance as he wiggled out of Nyma's grasp and went to his desk. He's had trouble sleeping, too...

"Thanks for the concern." Lance flashed Nyma a grin.

Nyma smiled and waved as she stepped across the isle to sit in her seat beside Rolo.

~

Both Keith and Chat were silent that night. Both just returned from a battle, but Chat didn't know that. Again, Chat rested his head in Keith's lap as Keith absentmindedly raked his fingers through Chat's short, messy hair.

"I did something, didn't I?"

Keith was startled by the sudden question. He looked down at Chat and tilted his head. Concern was all that was in Chat's blue eyes. "What do you mean?"

Chat sighed and looked away. "You seem upset. I'm pretty sure I did it because you were like this last night."

The shorter boy hummed, running his thumb over the edge of Chat's cat ear. The fake ear twitched. "No, it's not you. I've just had a lot on my mind." Chat sighed in relief and his body slumped as he relaxed. Keith smiled, then chuckled. "Were you worrying yourself about it all day?"

"Yes." Chat admitted gruffly, crossing his arms over his chest. "I seriously thought I did something to hurt you."

"Well, are you glad to know you didn't?" Keith asked, brushing stray locks of hair out of Chat's face.

Chat nodded and sat up. "Super!" He crossed his legs and turned to face Keith. "I don't want to hurt you, Keith. I want to keep you safe and be the reason you smile!"

Keith jolted, eyes widening, then Chat seemed to realize exactly what he said and what meaning it may have for Keith.

Chat wildly waved his hands, face brightening to a dark red. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I-"

Whatever came over Keith shocked both of them. Keith grabbed Chat's head and pulled him close. Keith crushed their lips together and Chat lost balance.

Chat fell on his back and Keith fell on Chat's chest, in between his legs. Chat gulped, both of their eyes wide and cheeks red. Their faces hovered just an inch apart.

They stared, bewildered and shocked, until they came together again. Keith's arms wound around Chat's neck as his fingers tangled in his hair while Chat wrapped his arms around Keith's torso. Their lips meshed clumsily, yet experimentally.

Chat tugged on Keith's lip with his teeth, then licked Keith's lip. They rolled and Chat's tongue dove into Keith's sweet mouth. You'd think someone like Keith would like spicy, hot foods, but he tasted like pastries. Chat seemed to love it as he licked at Keith's teeth and sucked on his tongue rather than battled for dominance. Chat's claws fingers gripped Keith's cardigan and they pulled apart, a thin string of siliva connecting them until it broke.

Both of them panted, Keith's eyes still closed. Chat smiled as Keith opened his eyes. "You're wonderful..." Chat breathed, leaning down to place a softer, sweeter kiss to Keith's lips. Keith hummed, hands leaving Chat's hair to settle on his shoulders. Chat pulled back again. "You're beautiful." He kissed Keith again. "You're amazing." He whispered against Keith's lips.

Keith smiled into the kiss. "Awful generous of you to give someone other than yourself or Ladybug compliments." Keith teased quietly after they pulled apart once more.

Chat chuckled, expression soft. "Well, it's true." Keith smiled, and tugged Chat down for another sweet kiss.

~

Pidge hummed as she studied Keith. "I'm... Confused."

Shiro, who sat beside her, nodded in agreement.

Pidge crossed her arms and huffed. "What's that stupid look on your face for?"

Keith shrugged. "I don't know what you're talking about." He smiled, looking down at his notebook.

His friend scowled. "You've hardly looked at Lance today, but you're all... Smiley and happy and daydreamy. What the fuck happened that you are telling me about?"

"Nothing."

"Definitely something." Shiro muttered and Pidge nodded.

Pidge stood up and waved. "Hunk! Hunk, get over here - we have a crisis!"

Hunk trotted over with his tray, Shay behind him. "What's up?"

"Keith's all stupid and smiley, and it's not because of Lance!" Pidge cried.

Hunk gasped, eyes wide as he faced Keith.

Again, Keith shrugged. "I don't see the big deal..."

Hunk slammed his tray down and grabbed Keith's shoulders. He studied Keith's face with observant eyes. Once he spotted Keith's lips, he made an inhuman sound and flailed back. "Holy quiznak, someone kissed him!" He cried, pointing to his bottom lip. Keith flushed and brushed the tips of his fingers over his lip. Oh, yeah... Chat must have left a mark when he bit his lip. Whoops.

Pidge shrieked and grabbed Keith's shirt. "And you didn't think to tell me!? Your best friend!?" She shouted, getting in his face. Their foreheads pressed together as she stared intensely. "Details, Kogane. Details!"

Keith smiled nervously. "Okay, okay."

"I'm kind of curious of who it is." Shiro piped up, tugging Pidge back down to sit.

"Ladybug?" Hunk asked as he sat with Shay.

Keith nearly laughed. Oh, yeah. I totally made-out with myself. He mused and took a bite of his food. "Why would Ladybug kiss someone like me?" He asked instead.

Pidge huffed. "He's right."

Keith... Would be offended if he didn't know Pidge or didn't like her. He just kept eating while his friends think.

Keith heard Lance laughing from across the cafeteria.

Pidge snapped her fingers. "That Alex guy that's been crushing on you?"

Keith snorted. "Ew." He grumbled. Lance sounded an awful lot like Chat, now that he thought about it.

Pidge slumped and hit her head on the table. "Tell me!"

"I'll tell you that we were both surprised and he's a pretty good kisser." Keith muttered and stood. Pidge whined. "Also, it's someone I never thought I'd be with."

~

"We should stop."

Keith jolted and looked up at Chat with wide eyes. Chat looked down, his fake cat ears flat. "Wait- what?"

Chat sighed, closing his eyes. "I... You'll get hurt... Keith, I wouldn't be able to live with myself if you were hurt. A Galra could spot us, or Hawk Moth, and I... I don't want you in danger."

At first, Keith was shocked, chest tight. His eyes stung with tears and he grabbed Chat. "No one has, yet, Chat." Keith breathed, cupping his face. "And I'll be fine, Chat. I'm not defenseless. Besides, you'd protect me, right?"

Chat smiled. "Yeah... You're right. Sorry. I just... I took a catnap today and had a nightmare. A Galra took you from me and I was too late to get to you."

Keith hummed and nodded. "Well, that won't happen in real life." He stood on his toes and pressed their lips together. "Promise." Chat nodded.

"Okay."

~

Keith peeled the posters off his wall. He left the magazine clippings, since he still kinda liked Lance(couldn't help himself).

Tikki giggled as she nibbled on her cookie. "You've really fallen in love with Chat Noir, haven't you, Keith?"

He huffed and blushed. "Geez, Tikki. Way to start a conversation. We haven't told each other that we love each other."

"But it's obvious you do." Tikki sang as she floated over, then came to rest on his shoulder. Keith smiled, but said nothing more.

~

"What does your hair look like when down?"

Keith paused as Chat questioned him. "Chat, we're in the middle of a patrol." He grumbled, but his fingers absentmundedly toyed with his ponytail. When he transformed, his hair was pulled up and tied together and a headband held his bangs out of the way.

Chat whined. "Aw, come on, LB! I wanna know! Please, please! Grant this kitty a simple wish?"

Keith smiled and rolled his eyes. He poked Chat's nose, whispering, 'boop.' "I don't think so, kitty." Chat pouted. "Now, let's return to patrolling."

~

Lance paced in his room, Plagg practically making love to the slice of Camembert cheese Lance gave him.

"Should I, Plagg? I mean, maybe I shouldn't, but I want to, and he deserves to know, but what if I scare him off, or he doesn't like me, or-"

"Hush, I'm trying to enjoy my Camembert." Plagg muttered around the cheese in his mouth. "You could be putting yourself in danger if you tell Keith. What if he gets Galranized? He'd come straight for you when you're not in form."

Lance sighed and slumped. He placed his arm against one of the large windows in his room. In the distance, Ladybug launched from roof-to-roof. Lance smiled and he turned back to Plagg. "I'm gonna tell Keith, Plagg. I'm gonna tell him that I love him and don't want to keep any secrets from him."

Plagg grumbled. "Fine. Don't listen to me."

~

Keith gulped, face red.

Chat... Was in his room... Eyeing the magazine clippings Keith left up. He knew he should have taken those stupid things down!

He let his towel fall to the floor, even though his hair was still damp from his shower. "It-it's not what you think! I can explain-"

Chat chuckled and waved his hand. "It's okay, Keith. Calm down." He turned around with a grin. "You don't have to explain anything." Keith was still tense. He tensed even more as Chat's expression became serious. "I do need to talk to you, though."

Keith slowly nodded and let Chat take his hands. "Keith... I'm... I've fallen in love with you." Keith's eyes widened. "I've fallen in love with you, and I want you to know everything you want to know about me. I know you want to know my identity, so..." Chat trailed, fidgeting. He bit his lip, then dove forward, catching Keith's lips.

Keith yelped, then melted into the kiss. Keith listened to the soft tinkling of Chat transforming to his true identity, then sighed softly as he pulled away. His eyes fluttered open, then shot wide. "Lance!?" He gasped, jerking back.

Lance rubbed the back,of his neck, looking down. "I wanted you to know who I am behind the mask, Keith."

Keith's whole body was flustered as he studied Lance from top to bottom. How had he not noticed it sooner!? Was it personality!? Everything else screamed this is the same damn person, how the fuck did you not know!?

Lance took Keith's silence as rejection. His shoulder fell and his chest went tight. "Sorry... Sorry, I should-"

"Don't go!" Keith blurted as Lance took a step back. Lance looked back at Keith. Keith gulped and waved his hand. Lance was confused until a little red head with big blue eyes peeked over Keith's shoulder. "This is... Tikki... My kwami."

Their eyes met. A grin broke out on Lance's face and he threw his arms around Keith. Keith yelped as he was lifted and spun. "Lance!"

Lance laughed and set the smaller boy down. He grabbed his face and crushed their lips together. Both laughed breathily as they pulled apart, then wrapped each other in their arms.

"It all makes sense, now." Lance chuckled, burying his face in Keith's hair. "How did I not noticed before?"

"I feel the same way." Keith smiled, closing his eyes as he leaned into Lance. "How did I not notice and... I love you, too, kitty."

Lance snickered and tilted his head slightly to kiss Keith's head. "I'm glad... I'm so glad."
